I thought I would pretend to arrange a discreet business meeting to head-hunt top talent from a competing firm. But in hindsight that might have been too convoluted.

The real problem with taking a Thai hooker back to your condo is the staff in the building. From the security guard to reception to the maids, everyone will soon be aware of your misadventures. One person sees and soon everyone knows. The average Thai has a mouth like a radio station. In their eyes you have taken a low-class hooker back to the place you live, something no Thai man would do, something they can't reconcile.
It's not that you'll be labelled as someone who uses hookers. Not crime in the eyes of the average Thais. It's that you'll be labelled as someone who lacks discretion and who doesn't value face or reputation. Which the average Thai would find unfathomable!

Alternative is to go and actually stay in a Hotel for several days, pretending to have gone elsewhere if need be. That is my usual approach. Mermaid Hotel, as example, is new modern classy, but not that expensive. Does not have to be in JW Marriott class.
Maybe there are some reasonable class ST Hotels around. The Strand in Silom is just passable (for ST only), with no windows and very noisy at night. ST rooms in Nana Plaza are absolute shit. I use instead a small Hotel in a nearby small Soi, forget the actual name. Rooms are tiny small but better quality than Nana Plaza. ST rooms near Soi Cowboy are a standard just a bit too low for an Escort in my opinion.
Escorts are typically doing Outcall to your home Apartment or Hotel. Not meet somewhere, and then go to ST Hotel.
One day saw an absolute stunner dressed very sexy on the street (maybe came off BTS). Wanted to see where she worked. Walked straight into the Westin Hotel. Probably was an escort booking.

The JW Marriott might offer day rooms no harm in emailing them and asking. Just tell them you have a long layover between flights. The tariff will likely be half the nightly rate though so you are looking in the 3,000 be range.
In your target area try looking at the Aspen Suites on Suk soi 2 or the Majestic Suites on Suk between soi 4 and soi 6. Nice enough places, and even the nightly rate should only be about 1,500 be. Book it for a night and get a 2 pm checkout the next day and you should be golden.

I am going to start exploring the escort world. What I have in mind is 2 hours from 10 am to 12 noon on a weekday.
Is there any hotel that would do that? Preferably a nice one near Nana or Ploenchit.
The ideal would be something like the JW Marriott on Sukhumvit Soi 2, but I don't know if 5-star hotels like this force you to book a room for the full 24 hours.

Recently stayed for five nights at Grand Swiss on Sukhumvit-11. This was my second stay at the hotel. Stayed in Grand premier room. Nice comfortable modern room, friendly staff and great location coupled with reasonable rates. Soi 11 is a great location as all action stations are within easy walking distance. Their breakfast is also good. This hotel has become my favourite.

Their website says it's only a "5 minutes walk to BTS Nana station", but that's if you walk (run) like Usain Bolt. They do offer tuk tuk service, but it's only one-way so the walk back can be long in hot humid and / or rainy weather.
The standard room is very basic so if you don't expect much, you won't be disappointed.

Oasis has replaced the lodge but the thing about the lodge that I found interesting is that it had girls on premise. Is there a hotel near that area that still offers the same kind of amenities?

Posts: 926There is also the royal Express Inn in Soi 8 , right down to bts Nana exit 4 and just in front of Bamboo massage. It's usually 1000 b / night but if you tell him you'll stay 2 nights he'll make it for 900 b / night.
