Thank you for suggesting the "long layover between flights" storyline.

I thought I would pretend to arrange a discreet business meeting to head-hunt top talent from a competing firm. But in hindsight that might have been too convoluted.

Because I live in BKK full-time and I do not want to lose face in front of my building staff by bringing in this kind of girls. In the words of Stickman:

The real problem with taking a Thai hooker back to your condo is the staff in the building. From the security guard to reception to the maids, everyone will soon be aware of your misadventures. One person sees and soon everyone knows. The average Thai has a mouth like a radio station. In their eyes you have taken a low-class hooker back to the place you live, something no Thai man would do, something they can't reconcile.

It's not that you'll be labelled as someone who uses hookers. Not crime in the eyes of the average Thais. It's that you'll be labelled as someone who lacks discretion and who doesn't value face or reputation. Which the average Thai would find unfathomable!

Is there any hotel that would do that? Preferably a nice one near Nana or Ploenchit.

The ideal would be something like the JW Marriott on Sukhumvit Soi 2, but I don't know if 5-star hotels like this force you to book a room for the full 24 hours.
I agree with others. It makes no sense to ask an escort to come to a low class flop house (ST Hotel). I use ST Hotels regularly for bargirls near to the bar, but not for very special occasions / girls. I had a favourite girl lived just south of Silom and wanted to see her for a couple of hours on multiple mornings, as though she was a private escort semi-gik sort of thing (I paid her sort of so much per visit untimed). So I booked a medium class Hotel, not too expensive, for multiple days, even though I wasn't sleeping there at night. Location chosen also so that no one who knows her would be likely to see us.

Alternative is to go and actually stay in a Hotel for several days, pretending to have gone elsewhere if need be. That is my usual approach. Mermaid Hotel, as example, is new modern classy, but not that expensive. Does not have to be in JW Marriott class.

Maybe there are some reasonable class ST Hotels around. The Strand in Silom is just passable (for ST only), with no windows and very noisy at night. ST rooms in Nana Plaza are absolute shit. I use instead a small Hotel in a nearby small Soi, forget the actual name. Rooms are tiny small but better quality than Nana Plaza. ST rooms near Soi Cowboy are a standard just a bit too low for an Escort in my opinion.

Escorts are typically doing Outcall to your home Apartment or Hotel. Not meet somewhere, and then go to ST Hotel.

One day saw an absolute stunner dressed very sexy on the street (maybe came off BTS). Wanted to see where she worked. Walked straight into the Westin Hotel. Probably was an escort booking.

I can understand not wanting to take a higher end escort to a short stay hotel. You might even have a hard time getting her to agree to meeting you at one as she might believe you lack funds.

In your target area try looking at the Aspen Suites on Suk soi 2 or the Majestic Suites on Suk between soi 4 and soi 6. Nice enough places, and even the nightly rate should only be about 1,500 be. Book it for a night and get a 2 pm checkout the next day and you should be golden.

All "normal" hotels will ask you to pay the "1 night" price. But there are enough other hotels near Nana that offer hourly rates and most girls will know where to go, unless you really wish to explore the top-class escorts who only know the inside of the royal suites of 5 star hotels. (or so I have been told)

Oh I wish there was. But I have yet to find it.

The Lodge was great, although the 'bar fine' was high the girls were great and performance always great. The Oasis is a disaster.

But then so is Soi 33 - once the up-market bar scene - now a shadow of its former self. Sic transit gloria....

    Grand Swiss

Recently stayed for five nights at Grand Swiss on Sukhumvit-11. This was my second stay at the hotel. Stayed in Grand premier room. Nice comfortable modern room, friendly staff and great location coupled with reasonable rates. Soi 11 is a great location as all action stations are within easy walking distance. Their breakfast is also good. This hotel has become my favourite.

    Woraburi Hotel Sukhumvit Soi 4

The Woraburi Hotel is way down Sukhumvit Soi 4, but it's offering a limited time promotion of 999 bahts for a standard "room only" (no breakfast). I don't know if this includes any service taxes or fees.

    http://www.woraburi.com/woraburisukhumvit/#page_info.

Their website says it's only a "5 minutes walk to BTS Nana station", but that's if you walk (run) like Usain Bolt. They do offer tuk tuk service, but it's only one-way so the walk back can be long in hot humid and / or rainy weather.

The standard room is very basic so if you don't expect much, you won't be disappointed.

    Lodge replacement

Oasis has replaced the lodge but the thing about the lodge that I found interesting is that it had girls on premise. Is there a hotel near that area that still offers the same kind of amenities?

Mustn't let others discourage you. I believe the Atlas Hotel and World Inn at the Suk 7/1 vicinity are around that price point. Don't expect much though as they mainly cater to short stay guests.

There is also the royal Express Inn in Soi 8 , right down to bts Nana exit 4 and just in front of Bamboo massage. It's usually 1000 b / night but if you tell him you'll stay 2 nights he'll make it for 900 b / night.

To be closer, there is Unico Express Sukhumvit Soi 1 (I believe) even cheaper. I have never tried either Hotel. Also there is "alt hotel nana".
Ever Rich and Sam's Lodge may be over 1K. You can search yourself on internet.

Not sure why you need to be close to Nana at such a low price.

    Better go Phnom Penh instead.
I can understand guys have low budgets but to me it seems incredible to want to find a doss house for a holiday. Better to save another £500 and enjoy a holiday. On one occasion I stayed at the Rose Hotel for a night and was woken six times during the night by FLs wanting to join me. Not worth it.
