Visited Krabi about a month back and stayed in Ao Nang. While most of the MPs here are massage only, but was able to find action in the middle of the Ao nang market close to Mc Donald's. There were two MPs next to each other which appeared to be normal from outside, but upon entering one of them, I was lead to a private room with shower low bed. This was meant for full service. Chose a decent looking girl from Isaan, paid 400 for the room & 1500 to the girl for one hour of bliss.

I was in Krabi in March. I wanted to stay at The Brown Hotel as they have very good reviews and the hotel is centrally located. However, I could not find any available rooms during my visit so instead stayed at the Hop Inn. It was only about $20 per night but surprisingly decent with an elevator. The Brown does not have an elevator and is 4 stories so ask for a lower level room. The rate is lower than $100 a night, which is a high price for a hotel in central Krabi. As far as girls in Krabi, I did not notice any and it's a very quiet city, bordering on dull. You will not be tempted and pleased you brought your own.

The night market by the river is a nice place to spend an evening.

The RCA alley is still open, but there are many non-monger bars there. In April there were still at least 3 "beer bar" type establishments one actually fronting the main street and two or three on the left as about halfway in.

I tried the one with the British flag on it. Prices 80 thb beer, 200 thb ladydrink, 500 BF and 2000ST or 3000 LT. I was on my own down there so actually enjoyed buying a couple of ladydrinks and playing pool and connect 4. Also when my food came from one of the side streets the girl cut it up for me, so it was nice to be looked after. Enjoyed time in my hotel room with the girl but she was professional. Kissing and DATY but she insisted on condom for sex and I didn't try to negotiate, so I don't know if she would have done it without for a tip. I don't really "rate" girls but she was attractive to me at least. Aged around 30 with, she said, one kid.

So basically Ao Nang is not a destination for mongering but if you find yourself there then RCA is still catering for our needs.

Best not stop at a bar with fewer than 5 girls.
