I will be in Bangkok next month. I am planning on staying at Legacy Suites, Soi 29 , Sukhumvit, Wattana.
Is this hotel girl friendly?
Can anybody suggest some similar class hotels which are girl friendly and close mongering destinations.

You should be able to get a good rate as a Diamond member, I'm a Platinum member and got US $133++ last month. Not cheap by BKK standards but cheap compared to other cities.

Posts: 616Grand Hyatt Erawan Girl Friendly?
I assume the Grand Hyatt Erawam is girl friendly. Does anyone know from experience whether it indeed is, and do they charge joiner's fees, etc. I'm Hyatt Diamond if that makes a difference. Incidentally, I wouldn't normally stay there owing to the cost (even with Diamonds points and cash) but need a few nights to qualify for Diamond next year.
And while I'm asking questions, is it a better hotel than the Sheraton Grand Sukhumvit or Plaza Athenee, two Starwood properties I sometimes stay at?

Clean and modern rooms with a big bed. Large shower (it will easily fit you and your girl). Totally GF. Very quiet surroundings. Room prices less than 2000 baht / night including breakfast. There was even a deal for 1530 baht per night (without breakfast) on www.booking.com. In that area and for the quality of that hotel, it would be difficult to find better.

Oh God!
I just can't figure out where to stay. Too many options in the THB 1400 to 1800 range. Ruamuchit / Icheck Inn nana / Hotel Uno / Boss suites / Citadines 23 - I have never been to Bangkok and as I am travelling alone. I just want to have maximum fun. Mostly in my room.
Thanks Duniawala and Syzygies for your guidance. I think now I have two new choices (I) Icheck Inn nana and (ii) Citadines 23 - not much price difference.
I know this might sound annoying to some. But I still need some suggestions.

Asoke Residence close to Petchburi MRT has 85 sq. cm. Junior suite on offer for same price 1750 (wotif), or pay 1950 to include B/F. They also have cheaper normal sized rooms. This location is very quiet when no construction work going on. If you want to sleep in daytime, could be wrong choice. If was me, I would say, bugger the location and take the better room. Ruamchit would be very basic room in comparison. I get to Sukhumvit very quickly from Asoke Residence on motorbike taxi. I get to Nana Soi 4 or Soi Eden 7/1 in 5 minutes on a motorbike (route is Petchburi road plus Suk Soi 3). Same for Soi cowboy, 5 minutes. A little longer for Emporium or Soi 24/1 MPs.
Ocean Livingstone's Soi 33 currently has prices way cheaper than that although no doubt quoted before taxes (unlike wotif), for a reasonable room. Location is closer to the Sois 24/1 MPs, and still walking distance to Cowboy.
I seriously doubt that Ruamchit rooms are worth 1800, but not having stayed personally, I could be wrong. I seem to recall some complaints from some writers. Check Tripadvisor ratings. Anyway I wouldn't risk it. Sacha's Uno generally gets positive comments from memory, however expect rooms to be very small indeed.

Hi guys!
I am travelling solo to Bangkok in mid Oct and will be there for 2 nights. Based on RTFF I have narrowed down to (I) Ruamuchitt and (ii) Sacha's Hotel Uno. There is no much price difference between the two - 1800 TBH however Ruamuchitt has a nice location and Uno has much better rooms. My sole purpose for travelling to Bangkok is mongering and I would be bringing Fls to the hotel rooms.
If anyone has stayed at this places. Please. Advice between the two or any other place as well.

Has anyone stayed at the President Palace Hotel? Is it GF? It looks like a nice hotel with big rooms at a reasonable rate.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
