The Marriott Executive Apartments Bangkok, Sukhumvit Thonglor is brand new. A 1 br suite is 2900bt and a 2 br suite 9000bt. Why not take 2 one bedroom suites adjacent to each other. It is much cheaper and you get more privacy or consider
The Marriott Executive Apartments. Sukhumvit Park Soi 24 which is another upscale property. A 2 br suite is 8400bt. And another great choice is
The Fraser Suites on Soi 11. A 2 Br connecting studio suite with 125 sqm is 7350bt.
I have stayed at both the Marriott Sukhumvit Park and the Fraser in 1 br suites. They were both great properties and afforded me the room to entertain my female guests in style. I will be staying at the Marriott Sukhumvit Thonglor apartments in March. Thonglor is a great street and close to a lot of clubs and upscale night life.

In March me and my teenage son are travelling to Thailand. Our plan is to stay 2-3 nights in Bangkok. During that time we will spend time with a thai woman I know. So now I am searching for a hotel with a two-bedroom alternative. So far I found Grand President and Column. Column costs around 10. 000 bath per night, Grand President around half of that. Do anyone know of more alternatives. I tried searching on Agoda without success.

Funny thing when I tried this as Ramada, Bur Dubai with my West African, Chinese and Russian pick-ups, reception and security used to frantically gesture me to go directly to the lifts. They don't want an abvious hooker seen in the lobby for any more time than absolutely necessary.

I have visited Bangkok in November. 2013 and stayed at Maxim's Inn Soi 7/1 Sukhumvit. The cost was 1390 baht / night totally GF queen size bed with window without breakfast. The Maxim's Inn provides a quietly night to sleep and yet, very close to the mongering scene, in fact it is in the same alley with Eden, Dr. BJ. What's a great location! The staff are very friendly and helpful at all times.

I am temporarily using a few Hotels prior to deciding where to rent an apartment again.
The Hotel web site for Amora shows this room with separate shower and bath is worth 4k+. I really doubt that. However as I got it on Wotif for just over 2K, it has been fairly good value. Also has 1800 Baht (inclusive of taxes) rooms. It newish and bathroom is good size and has no problems. Lighting is a bit overly fancy with central control till get used to it. Located close to entrance of Soi 31 which has been a very convenient location for me to get to Emporium, MPs, Japanese Restaurants, Cowboy, BTS and MRT. Used motorcycle in back Sois a lot due to some time traffic disruptions. Used a good cheap laundry in first side Soi of Soi 33.
Bed very comfortable (not hard). Internet reasonably well behaved but no where near as fast as the best 3G internet connection available on your smart phone. Has DVD player and large flatscreen TV.
Only thing extra I would really like is a large fridge with freezer and a microwave oven. Admiral Premier has that but is more expensive and same for Grand Mercure Asoke residence. Bless Residence Soi 33 might be good one for me.
The breakfast buffet is a little variable with what hot dishes are on offer. Good some days. Fresh fruit variety can be weak, sometimes with only two types, and one is always watermelon. No pastries for breakfast LOL. Doesn't exactly do me any harm.
If you need great staff service, I can't comment, as mostly I just need Hotels to not hassle me. Everything has worked so I did not request anything at all except update room key. Hotel manager looks like a grumpy Chinese type but could be O.K. I know Hotels have to deal with very difficult customers all the time, and have language communication problems, and I am not one of them. So I often don't get a feel for whether the service staff are good, bad, or average. Construction nearby has not been an issue at all.
This street has an Italian Pizzeria, Japanese restaurant, Tii Phorchana (A Thai restaurant with great seafood), Chocolate Café or two, Au Bon Pain Café, etc. and is not far from Villa Markt 24 hour supermarket.

Anyone stayed at President Palace Soi 11 recently? I stayed there a few times a few years ago. Got upgraded to business floor and got to enjoy the lounge etc. I enjoyed the large rooms and great location on Soi 11. But often felt it was a few years away from being a bit worn out if not renovated a bit. Can anyone comment on how a "normal" room is there these days without enjoying the business floor? I also liked how it was GF friendly.
Thanks,
AF

Hotel security can be very lax. I once heard of a customer, more than once murdering a girl and hiding the body under the bed, in same room and nothing discovered until he had checked out (Suk Soi 3 Hotel). Can't be sure the story was 100% true either. There was also the news about a couple who had drugs stashed in their luggage by someone unknown presumably linked to Hotel somehow. So be aware that really bad things are possible. Be careful about the Hotel selected and also the girls selected, would be the obvious advice.
I have never had any problems at all but very rarely take free lancers. Could be better to take free-lancers to a ST Hotel rather than anywhere where all your valuables are not locked up. I use ST Hotels a quite often. Taking an MP girl is easier and safer.

I rarely take freelancer as I find girls from clubs more grounded. The half dozen times I have however I take it 1 step further as I would not rely on the front desk for my protection. They have occasionally given the girls ID to her upon exiting with a call.
I take the girls ID myself and put it in the safe along with the money in my pocket and my watch. If she objects show her the door or one should assert himself also setting a good tone for the rest of the evening. The monger is completely in charge.
