Dynasty Grande is a good class Hotel with very good swimming pool, and bathrooms are very good. Separate shower stall. Decide your requirements and select accordingly. Years ago standard of Dynasty Grande restaurant food was poor other than at B/F however that is very old info. I just ate food elsewhere, no real problem. If need to sleep in daytime hours heed the construction site warnings.
I've stayed at both many times. In my opinion, the only advantage the Dynasty Grande has over the Dawin is the Grande has a decent gym. However, I have never seen more than 1 other person in that gym with me, so I'm guessing that's not a big selling point for the hotel. The Grande does have a nicer pool, but I've used the pool at the Grande a total of two times in over 100 stays and I haven't used it in years so it's not a selling point either in my opinion. The fat old dudes in speedos sitting by that pool are an eye sore, so I prefer a room that does not overlook the pool. Unfortunately, the fat old dudes are normally the only ones ever out by that pool. About 8 years ago, there was actually a good looking girl in that pool. A Japanese girl who was there with her Japanese husband. The sad thing is that was such a rare event that I still remember it 8 years later. The Dawin is newer, but again, no gym. Food at both is pathetic. Both are good value for money.

Damn, should have checked earlier, Dawin is considerably higher price right now for the days I'm looking, yes construction during the day might bother me.

They are more than welcome to extend your stay directly at the front desk. Once again, online may have some discount as compared to walk-in rates. No harm requesting for the same discounted rates at the front desk directly.

I remembered entering in hotel at 4 am via the backdoor, however its better to email hotel to verify in this.

    Cheers.

At the moment I would choose the Dawin as there is quite a lot of construction work going on in Soi 6, also very close to the Dynasty Grande.

Lobby is huge, leave the ID at the front desk.

Don't include breakfast as that's the worst point of this hotel.

Am sure you will figure it out. The back door leads to soi 4, I enjoyed my long stay here everytime. Washing machine and kitchenette at your convenience.

Another hotel I would recommend is Lohas Residence, further down into Soi 4. Great room condition, but a little too far deep.

    Cheers!

    Gand Mercure Asoke Residence

I am currently staying at Grand Mercure Asoke Residence. Room are newly renovated (Renovation still in progress on the lowest floors, but I did't notice anything). Although I just joined "LE Club" for this stay I got upgraded to an Executive Suite on one of the highest floors. It is huge (80 sqm), big living room, separate eating area, kitchen and two bathrooms, one with bathtub and both with walk-in showers. I pay 3.1 K for the night.

If you pass the front desk they take the ID of the girl (but do not call when she leaves), but there is also a back entrance where you only have to pass the secirity guys, which did not care about me passing with a girl.

Location is in quiet soi 19, about 400 m off Sukhumvit road, right where Terminal21 is.

    Dynasty Grande vs Dawin?

Anybody have a preference? I stayed at grande once for a night, I see Dawin has no gym as one difference.

Requirements are minimum 40 meter square room and price doesn't need to include breakfast. Bathtub would be a plus. Rate between USD 70 and USD 85 per night.

I have been very happy with both hotels I have stayed in before but it seems that PPS have higher rates these days even though still doable. Still happy with Mermaid even though not between Soi C and NEP.
Admiral Premier; choose the Admiral suites. I have stayed there three times.

Grand Swiss on soi-11 is a good option. Premier king / Grand Premier rooms are in the range of 70-90 USD range and a good breakfast is included. Only thing is that the size of the rooms is 30 meter square. Hotel is clean and location is right between SC & NEP.

Check out Admiral Premiere (ADM & grand suites), Column (1br exec suite), Grand Mercure Asoke Residence (deluxe & exec suites), & Fraser Suites (superior (w/balcony) & deluxe suites). Agoda and whoever frequently offer very good deals on these hotels (large 1 bedroom suites) for under $85/ night before taxs and fees. It goes without saying that these hotels are GF and they never batted an eye when I escorted 2 or more girls up to my loom. They all have relatively nice swimming pools and offer a varying degree of good locations close to the night action. All these suite hotels have separate great rooms (living room/kitchen combos) & bedrooms, large bathtubs, washer/dryers, and refrigerator/freezers.
