Posts: 522Four Points Soi 15 and Sukhamvit
Thought I posted this but it doesn't show up. Here's a quick repost.
Four Points is a Sheraton property and I have always had good luck with them. It's a 1/4 block off Suk on 15. Very good location for what I do. Walking distance to Cowboy and Nana. The rooms are decent sized. Mine is a standard king, about 38 sqm. The breakfast is very goo. Great selection and lot's of it.
The wifi is the best I've had on this trip other than Tokyo. The air-condition actually has a temperature setting that works. And it's not directed over your bed so it's relatively comfortable. The staff is courteous and helpful without being in your face.
Girl friendly and they do not check IDs. So you're on your own. Use common sense with your belongings and make sure the girl is of age.
Other than a small mixup with breakfast being included of not it's a very nice place. The manager was very apologetic for the mixup and comped me two breakfasts. I'll stay here again unless the Sofitel down the street has a special.

A business associate is trying to book me into the Four Seasons. I could use their corporate discount and get a great rate. However, poking around a little on sites like Trip Advisor, it appears they may discourage guests. Has anyone had experience with this hotel? Is there a discrete way to get women in and out, a side entrance or something? Thanks!

I tend to be a researcher in all things, driving myself crazy, with everything. If we're ever out at a gogo you'll find yourself saying something like "pick one already will ya?" In the famous words of my assistant."Jeez it's only a piece of luggage?".
Now should I hit the gogos on my last night in Pattaya or should I hit Beach Road? LOL

if your hotel is more than a 2 minute walk, i would suggest you take a taxi. thais are lazy to walk. if your hotel is very far away they may not want to go.
if the girl really wants to use a very close st hotel over your hotel, it can be a sign she is in a big hurry, and you will get a bad session. on the other hand it can mean she is **** and st hotel won't check her i'd card and age. rainbow 4 girls are renowned for doing quickie in st hotel and returning after less than 30 mins. plenty of crazy house girls are a bit too young. anyway mention where your hotel is before you seal the deal.
sometimes its wise to be clear how much time you are getting with the girl, if any sort of negotiation happens. don't decide on any girl too quickly. spend a bit of time chatting and having a drink first. forget any girl that wants to really rush it or who proceeds directly to the bf without delay.

Posts: 522Will be in BKK in a few days. Looking at the Aloft on 11 and the Park Plaza on 16 Ratchadapisek Road just a little off Sukhamvit. Stayed at the Park before and the hotel was fine but getting the by cab was a royal pains as they mostly didn't know where it was and then had to make a hairy you-turn to get there. And although only 500 meters from cowboy it was a major pain getting there. Anyone have thoughts on Aloft? Tripadvisor gives them both hight ratings. 4.5 Any thoughts would be appreciated. Or another hotel in the same general range 3500 with breakfast. Soi 11 would be great.
Thank sin advance.
