Just booked Dawin with an option to cancel. In the policy of the confirmation it mentions that 2 guests only and additional guest charged $450. I know outrageous. So if I book someone from Smooci in the afternoon for a few hours then at night get another for all night (LT) would that count as an extra person and do I have to pay the additional fee? Any suggestions would be appreciated and depending on it might have to decide whether to cancel the booking or not. Thanks.

Sure it is not Baht rather than $. That would be about right as a joiner fee if it were and $450 would buy a suite in a 5 star hotel for a night.

450 US $? You could make two reservations for a lot less than that. Why not E-mail them and get a written answer to your question?

Once again, the Majestic Suites Hotel is just off the corner of Soi 4 on Sukhumvit Rd. Walk outside the front door, turn left and go about 25 steps, make a left onto Soi 4 - walk past Morning Night and Stumble Inn and into Nana Plaza. Or to the right Hooters and Nana Hotel with their lineup of FL out front.

The view inside the hotel didn't exist. But it was clean, had room safes and at $40 a night. It's cheap.

Majestic Suites (newer) has nicer rooms, but is a much smaller property and sells out more quickly. The Nana Hotel (older) has a nice pool area and bigger public spaces. Both are ground zero to NEP, have in-room safes and are about the same price, so it is a really personal preference thing.

Anyone have a recommendation between Nana Plaza Hotel vs. Ruamchit? I'm looking at a convenient spot to pick up freelancers. I have been leaning toward Ruamchit but was turned off by the fact that they don't have in room safes. Which offers a better selection (Thermae or Nana Plaza)?

Depends on your taste and your budget. FL in soi 4 around Nana are cheaper compared to Thermae FL.

Stayed 5 nights booked by hotels.com at 32 us for the modern chinese room. Not much choice for room type on this website. The room is modern but small. Reminded me of those European business hotels where there is just a little room around the bed. During morning cleaning I saw other rooms were much larger and modern. This is a budget hotel but IMHO a good one. As a first timer I did not want to have to walk far to either nana or cowboys. At my pace I could get to either in ten minutes or so. Your right in the thick of things here and with transport stations close by to visit other areas of the city. The common area, halls and elevator show the budget price of the hotel. What makes it a good budget hotel for me was the service, quality food, modern room, good wifi, pool was clean and hardly used and then location. Cannot expect to much for 30 us a night but I felt it was great value. I would stay here again.

Most of the 3 star or 5 star hotels, have their in house massage parlors. Most of them are definitely available for in calls. I had one such wonderful experience. Sorry it was the Hotels.com website but no matter the pics are the same on the website you have listed. My room was exactly as pictured for modern Chinese room city view.

They do have rooms with furnishings you prefer for more higher price.
