Not sure what you mean, Somewhere15 - if the girl won't go further than playing a bit with your balls, how does that give indication that "it was clear that service goes far beyond standard expectation"?

Majestic Grande has a promotion where you get one night free, but in typical Thai fashion, I'm not sure if it's already been factored in the cost of of the cost is, for example, 3,700 x 2 = 7,400 for the three nights or is it 3,700 x 3 for the three nights (with some reduction already figured in somehow).

I'm taking advantage of similar 2 for 1 at different hotel, where they quoted 5100/night at the promotion price, meaning 3 X 5100 = 15,300.

On the other hand, my son just emailed me to say he got a deal at MG for 6122 baht for 2 nights + 1 complimentary one - not sure yet if breakfast included.

Soi 11 has some good hotels, try Citidines... good value, good rooms, good location. Nice having a couch and bed and stand in shower with bench. Put that bench in the shower to very good use many times. Have had both types of rooms with them and their staff is great with the mongers.

Make sure to book your room for two guests = no problems or checks whatsoever.

Word of caution, the standard rooms at Centre Point Wireless are small, too small IMHO. They say 38 sq. meters, but it sure doesn't feel like that. Queen bed in most.
