We are searching for nice hotels with good price. GOOd price means 50-55$ per night. I am going to stay in Bangkok for 4-5 days, then will go to Phuket and stay there for 3 nights.

I am waiting for your suggestions and comments, not only for hotels but also bars, massage parlours and so on

    Thanks in advance

I believe that you are under-rating the JW Marriott. IMHO, it's one of the very finest Marriotts in the entire world, and VERY comparable in quality to the Conrad and the Plaza Athenee - two other extremely fine hotels in the area. The JW is a genuinely superb hotel in pretty much every way. If the name on the door said Peninsula or Shangri-La, or St. Regis, it would not be an embarrasment to it's siblings at all.

The quality of the service at the JW is an order of magnitude better than at any other Marriott I have ever stayed at.

If pricing isn't an issue, you might want to consider a serviced apartment, especially if you're planning on having a lot of girls at once. The Davis on Soi 24 has a section called Baan Davis (Camp Davis), which features stand-alone, two-story, two-bedroom Thai "villas." They are exceptional in terms of furnishings - besides all the usual stuff, they include a full kitchen and even a washing machine. Great for private parties because there's room for 10-15 people at once.

Other good serviced apartments include the Emporium Suites, Fraser Suites, Omni Suites and the Centre Point properties (about five different in BKK). The Platinum Suites at the President Solitaire include a jacuzzi. The high-end suites at the Majestic Grande are also good for parties. A lesser known hotel, the Royal Ivory Nana on Soi 4, has a two-bedroom suite that is more reasonably priced but good for parties.

There are tons more. Google is your friend.

It depends on how you define 'value'. I stayed at Sheraton Grande last week and I can assure that it was worth every penny I paid. High quality rooms, high quality amneties and for sure high quality services where nothing is to be complained about.

You mentioned money is not an issue so again, the hotels over a hundred dollars are Westin, Sheraton, Marriott and Majestic Grande. If you are looking for something around $60, then I would recommend Majestic Suites, Nana Hotel or Dynasty but these are only 3 stars at best but popular among the mongers.

The two hotels I would recommend are Palazzo(1700baht) or Hip Hotel(1600 baht). I would recommend staying at the Westin or Sheraton then because that is right next to the skytrain to Tulips and other areas and also the subway which will take you to the soapies in less than 15 minutes.
