Hi guys,

First time in BKK. Looking for a good 4-star or so hotel which is GF and close to action (MPs etc.). Any suggestions? Please help. Plan to stay for 3-4 nights.

I'll be staying at the Holiday Inn Sukhumvit Soi11 in a few days.

I stayed here earlier this year. Holiday Inn is girl friendly. I had independent girls text me when they were in the lobby and I went down (the elevator requires your room card to use). Other times the reception called my room and let me know to come down to get my girl. I've also walked in holding hands with a freelancer past reception with no issues.

I've also stayed at the Holiday Inn Sukhumvit 22 and all the same as above.

Looking for hotel with spacious car parking, location between Nana and Asok, near Sukhumvit Road (not too much inside some side way), good wifi and of course GF. Budget around 2500 baht / night. Any suggestion?

Hotel Grand Swiss on soi 11 is ideal location, just a couple min. From Nana BTS and has a car park which is free for guests. Rooms are good and breakfast is nice. Totally girl friendly. Staff and service is superb. My favorite hotel. Have stayed there on several occasions.

Just curious. What is the motivation for airbnb? Is it to get a superior condo for a longer period at a good rate? I would not think it is worth the possible hassles for short stays.

I have rented condos at two different places. Once down Soi 15/ Sukhumvit about two years ago. And 4 times with a 5th next month at a Condo on Soi 23. There is a large sign in lobby indicating it is not legal but, to date, I have not had any issues whatsoever. There has not been any issues bringing up a girl. And no such crap about a 2000 bt charge. The guy whom I deal with is kind of the overseer of about four different condos with different owners that he Airbrb manages. I meet him off premises with a transfer of the key. And as you said in your query he says to not a) ask for any kind of help, b) if asked say you are a friend visiting. I have got to know him so, as said to date, no issues.

Grand President has parking. It is in your budget also. Not sure what they charge for parking, however.

Great hotel, the price is always reasonable, rooms are compact but very clean, and very very GF. They have a good sized waiting area and my girls just call or txt me from there and I bring them up on the elevator. Breakfast is included and pretty good. The clientele is mixed and generally quiet, and the receptionists very discreet.

I'm actually here as we speak.

It's a fairly good hotel, definitely guest friendly. The security just looks at the girls ID card and before they are allowed to leave the Security guy calls up to the room to make sure everything is OK.

Breakfast is not so good according to me. Maybe it's good if you are Japanese or Chinese, all kind of strange soups available. I like a couple of sandwiches and some scrambled eggs. One sort of bread, one cheese, that's it. Sure I can order scrambled eggs from the "egg corner" but there is no bacon.

Anyhow. I like the hotel and I have my own Jacuzzi in my room.

I was reading mixed reports on booking Bangkok Airbnb condos. Reading some earlier reports as well as some of the Airbnb reviews, it seems like it is not legal to rent an apartment via airbnb? One reviewer wrote they were going to arrest him? One airbnb owner wrote if anyone asks to say you are a friend visiting. Also, not sure if you can bring a girl to your airbnb condo? Does anyone had experience with airbnb in Bangkok? Some wrote they charge a 2000 Baht fee to bring a girl?

Planning a trip to Bangkok this spring and I'm thinking about the S15 Hotel right on the corner of Soi15/ Sukhumvit Road.

Anyone know if it's ok to bring a girl back to your room in this hotel?

I highly recommend the Continent hotel -- not to be confused with the Intercontinental. It is a luxury hotel at a very good price. It is a skyscraper but only has like 6 rooms per floor. It is literally two blocks from Soi Cowboy but you'd never know it. It's tucked in and you'd never know its there. So you can just walk back to your room. Super convenient.

They do check the girls ID at the desk, but it's totally cool. It is great to enjoy a girl from one of the clubs. My girl was a hottie from Sharks -- in a lux room looking out to the city. Really a great value and totally unexpected.

I will second this rec for the Continent Hotel. Have stayed there a couple of times recently. Correct on the ID check, but no issues with having the girl up. I didn't bring one from Cowboy, but had a decent massage girl that I had found on WeChat and prev seen on Soi 11 come over. She came late, like midnight, but stayed until the morning. 2 shots. Pisses me off I didn't retain her info as I'm going back in a couple months. But optimistic I can find her again. Anyway, top notch hotel that is value for money.
