A really upscale place, except for the "therapists" (service and looks). A very mediocre line up of girls that have not been trained.

When you spend all this money on a place, it might be wise to get somebody that knows how to attract a good looking staff and somebody that knows how to train them properly, like at Doki Doki or Mitu / Soap in Bangkok.

And yes you're correct about the prison massage, being in a different complex so is the restaurant next door. They got moved long time ago. Best honey ginger tea! By patronizing the complex you're helping the rehab of the girls while you get a clean massage. Disclosure. I'm not a Saint!

.Stayed here several times. Never had an issue bringing guests. Hotel just looks at their ID Rooms are not as great as they look, food is good but expensive. If you still unsure about GF you can always email them. Fun fact, it's close to old town and closer to the night market. Don't miss the opportunity to go to women's prison for massage. Lots info online on that one. Enjoy.

Yes, I know the guest policy at Citadines Soi 11 as I stayed there. The breakfast I tried once was underwhelming. Not a patch on Grand Swiss, for instance.

I was asking on the Chiang Mai thread about comparable places in this city. Anyway I booked The Wing Boutique Hotel, which is girl-friendly.

Never visited CM before so I'm looking for some well-located hotel tips.

The search threw up some old stuff but nothing so recent, post c19.

As a reference, in BKK I like Grand Swiss and Citadines soi 11 to give an idea.

For this trip I've booked Citadines in BKK for 6 nights for 236 euro (with a 24 e travel credit refund after the stay, via booking) so quite a good deal.

I reckon something similar in price / quality and location to action would suit. Cafes, restaurants, and so just outside or a few meters away.

Input greatly appreciated.

I agree with TConor. Price does seem very high for Chiang Mai and even more so with Covid / sparse tourism.
