I was in CM last week for a couple of days. Well, this is what happened....
1) BAR GIRLS
I noticed a large turnover in girls from last year, partly for the better. Even though there are LB around they never bothered me. BF is 400B and they usually quote between 1500-2000LT but one can negotiate accordingly.
2)FREELANCERS
These tend to be in discos. Spicy is a good example where it starts to get busy at around 12.30-1.00am. Some of the girls are lovely. You don't need to be pushy or show off. A smile at the right time is all it takes. I took one from there (1500B LT). Very good experience.
3)MP'S
I don't really like the girls at Soyari. There are many small MP's. Next to my hotel one finds Enjoy Massage. As I passed the girls started, "Massageeee?" I stopped and spoke for some time to them. There was one girl who attracted me and told her that I'd be back the next day. True to my word, I returned and she gave me an oily. As usual she asked me whether I wanted a 'happy ending'. I refused, telling her that I'd rather see her after work.
We met at 12.30 and went for a drink at a local disco. Afterwards I took her to my hotel (Lai Thai-goodvalue) and took her LT. She only asked for 500B!!! Yes, gentlemen, there are times when this country truly amazes me. The performance was outstanding and i admit that when I go back to CM, I'll go back there again.

I would like to use the same strategy again...hmmm...even though this is my second trip to LOS, I'm no veteran. What do you guys think?

True, Sayuri girls are lazier than the average MP girls in Chiang Mai.

On Loikhro, there is a plaza with many bars and a kick boxing ring. If you are into billiard and chit chat, thats the place. Rainy season is depressing here, very few birds to catch. Finally found a nice in Happy bar (on the left while facing the ring) for ST at 1500. Ended up average. Guest house gave me shit bringing a girl back. Night bazar, did not see any action there, what are the best times or places? Returning to BKK for real action.

Discovered this new place recently.

Brought there with a group of local friends to hang out for some fun.

It is a night entertainment spot for the local youngsters call Santitham Plaza.

I've only driven through Santitham Plaza during the day to check out Pan Healthy Spa/Massage cause they advertise that they have suanas. Santitham has a bit of a seedy reputation among locals and told to avoid but that only added to my curiousity. Definitely off the farang radar and cataring towards Thais.

Further down the street I noticed two ST motels where Thais can discreetly park their cars or motorbikes behind a curtain and have a quickie. One place was a fairly large complex and painted green. Anyway, very fascinating that these places exist.

I think, for me at least, going to the karaokes with friends is a lot more fun.

Last yr for my birthday we went to the one tucked behind the Soi opp Linda Soapy. Also behind the Viet restaurant. (can't remeber the name offhand). About 20 yings in a row as you walk in and you take your pick. And yes, that is how they make money, by charging by the hour or 1/2 hr to sit with you. Things can add up quickly with every minute spent, mixer charge, ice charge, mamasan charge :-(, etc, etc..

Used to go to CM Land Rd all the time. Went a few times alone. Just not the same without mates. Been to a few around the ring rd. Pretty quiet and you had better speak passat thai. Imho the yings are not so pretty

Located North of the city moat probably a bit to the northwest.

Did not see foreigners there which there are about 10 or so pubs to drink and listen to music.

Went into one of the karaoke bar, do not remember the name.

Around 10+ girls inside, you can either choose one you like or let the mamasan select one for you.

They do charge lady drink for accompanying you; but if you negotiate and go for the action straight away it may be just pay for your own drink.

My host paid for everything as one stop service; every inclusive for me so I do not know how much is for the girl.

I chose a girl of my choice and was quickly sent away for the action.

Motocycle waiting outside, I sandwitched my girl with the moto driver; and off we went to the ST hotel nearby.

Quite good service after showering, bbj and then the action which we both enjoyed. My girl was from Chiangrai and I tipped her 200 Baht.

After waiting for awhile the tuk tuk came and we were delivered back to the karaoke to join my group which gradually come back to place.

A good fun to have but you may need locals to bring you there as it does not seem to be frequented by foreigners.

Kinda tired of the few go-go bars and massage joints...i'm curious about the karaoke places in town.

I always figured karaoke place as a Thai thing, group outing, or a place to mix business w/pleasure on the companies dime.

Anyone ever go to karaoke places solo? What if I just wanted to go in for a beer and just relax and check out the gals, is it going to cost me a $$$ to just sit down and have a beer? Would that be considered bad etiquette?

It seems like more and more karaoke joints are opening up along ChangKlan Rd with extremely pretty gals. What used to be karaoke central, along ChiangMaiLand is becoming deserted with just a few not-so-pretty gals outside eating their dinners. Not appealing.

Any info and reports would be greatly appreciated!

So how was it?

Tried Evita again. This time got a funky gal (kinda artsy-fartsy looking). Massage was mediocre and towards the end she mentioned 'sexy massage' was available for 1500 baht. I asked what that was exactly and she said body-to-body massage. She wasn't my type so I declined.

After the massage she indicted she was all finished then hesitated and said there was still 5 minutes left to do more 'massage' wherever i liked. This ended up was a jackhammer-style hj for 400. Totally lame. Too much haggling, no class.

She then wanted me to be all discreet as if she would get in trouble by the owner if caught. If this is so, not sure how a 'sexy massage' would be handled since there's only a curtain for a door.

On many occasions when I go for an oil massage, the girls will cover me with a towel, but I simply remove the towel and they understand the reason why. No problem, they carry on. This even worked with a married woman, sister in law of the owner lady, who never does oil massages, let alone on a totally naked man. No problem, she carried on. Heck, I figure if they really don't want to see a naked man, they will cover me up again with the towel.

So how was it?

Had a chance to stop by Evita Massage. At first glance, one would think this place offered lotsa hanky panky. The white xmas lights, the gals dressed sexily in red sitting on the red lounge out front, the little bar, the erotic posters, the king size massage bed...a got a woody just walking into this place.

Was nicely greeted and chose the 1hr hot aromatherapy massage for 500 baht (50bt less for the regular aromatherapy and 200 for a trad. thai massage). Was led up two or three? flights of stairs, passed a long row of beds for trad. thai massages and into a room with red decor and king size bed. I've never had a massage on a king and was looking forward to what kinda fun can be had on it. However, the room does not have a door, only a curtain. Took a quick shower down the hall while the gal set up the hot oil, bed and drawn the curtain over the window that dimmed the room nicely (it was about 5pm). BTW, the gal i got was cute 30ish and her red baggy pants and tank top was sexy enough too.

We both got onto the bed and she proceeded with what turned out to be an excellent, cmt massage. The letdown was she was also being very professional about covering my privates with the towel during the massage. We would chit chat abit, smile and I thought maybe she was saving the best for last. But in the end, I had a really enjoyable massage on a king size bed...a most relaxing experience. Certainly nothing negative to report but was not offered any extras with this gal. Maybe ymmv with repeat visits or other gals. I'm thinking about a repeat visit soon.

The service is above par, the place is very clean, the prices are reasonable, the king size bed is great, and just maybe...some extras can be had which would be a nice thrill. It's great to see a place like this in CM.

To clarify some info off soapymassage and evita site...they no longer have the cabaret show and their hrs are 2pm - 12am.

Just got back from CM few days ago.

Didn't manage to venture out at all as was tied up during the day with the sight seeing tours and at night had to entertain clients at karaoke (all 3 nights.....boring).

The places we went, Ten Karaoke, Twenty Karaoke and Goldstar has nice enough girls but the price was too high at 2500 for 2 hours. Opted for few hours of groping with just 300 for tips.

Sigh,,,,Need to plan a solo trip to really enjoy Thailand...

Although I have been to LOS many times during the years I ventured to CM for the first time this year. It was a good overall experience.
Stayed at the Royal Lana. GF. Brought a lady from a beerbar on Loi Kroh and nobody even asked for her ID. The Hotel has seen better days. Very basic, tired furniture and a trace of mildew on the shower tiles. Pros are GF, location (Night Bazaar and Loi Kroh Rd.), and good breakfast.
The mongering experience with the beerbar lady was probably one the best of the whole trip. She works at a traditional massage place during the day. She looked mid 30’s but according to her she was in her late 40’s. Hard to believe with such tight body. The session started with a real traditional oil massage. She obviously was a professional misuse. I have had many young girls who claim that they know how give a massage when in reality their skills are only limited to lay down with their legs open. This lady seemed to have enjoyed the session as she will get all wet. The session ended in the morning with another full body massage and FS. Great experience. Won’t forget this one anytime soon. Not cheap per CM standards at 2000 Baths, no BJ or anal but still an excellent experience.
