Since I spend time in Thailand every year, I learned some Thai. They don't mind foreigners at all. The Thai just helps find the place and communicate. They don't blink an eye at me not being Thai, with the exception of 1 or 2 cheap brothels. Women and service is at least five times better than what they put out for farang. In Chiang Mai, I would say maybe twenty times better.

Unless able to speak (included knowledge of Thai slang words so not easy to do a Google translate) read and write fluent Thai then Farangs rarely, if ever, can get in for a piece of the action and very much doubt these will be advertised on standard forums, Chiang Mai scene sites, craigslist or Thai dating sites.

The Thais prefer it this way, keeping foreigners on the outside so as not to draw international attention as to how the Thai sex industry operates, who are involved and the clientele they cater for.

I have already covered this in detail on this thread. So again just covering old ground, it's nothing new.

Would you please stop posting links to annoying articles, moreover these that should never be a topic of discussion here. Majority of readers don't speak Thai and have no intention to ever start. All many of us need is a short list of freelance venues where pick up is guaranteed. No massage parlors, no escorts services, no BS. Just keep it simple to freelances of age of majority.

The Thai language forums actually have a lot of information about the many good places in Chiang Mai. I personally think there are at least 10 very good spots in and around the city. I haven't seen most of them mentioned here though. I hope it stays that way.

Although I don't believe there are any good mongering places now left in Chiang Mai, I do know that if some do stumble upon a gem somewhere, they'll be vague with the details for the reasons you mention and I can't blame them.

I also agree that this site and others similar that they are no longer a community of closed or open seasoned mongers anymore, which in fact means these sites are only going to cover old ground that most of us already know about and in-fact these Chiang Mai adult entertainment forums and information websites are not really serving a useful purpose, that is, sharing experiences on the Chiang Mai commercial sex scene and the passing on of information. This section especially becoming more like Thai visa with opinions about other posters rather than for reasons I have mentioned above.

I think judging by the minimum lack of activity on here proves that there's not much happening monger wise on the Chiang Mai scene that has deteriorated over the years into literally which has become just a load of grot. I do belong to a couple of more sites similar to ISG and like this one, virtually no activity and some that were around a couple of years ago have closed their sites down.

So has anyone had any experience finding luck with the ladys who do the cleaning in hotels, or condominiums etc? There are 2 cute girls who clean the condo where I stay, so actually one was cleaning in another room across my window. So thought I would try to see what a flash would do, she actually ended up just staring and looking over for a while getting a look. She cleans my side of the condo too, do these types of girls look for extra cash on the side also? If say I 'invited' her to clean my condo room also? How you think that would go down?

The problem is you get nothing out of sharing the information. But when you go back to the places you share, the service goes way down and the prices go up. I hope no farang ever finds any of the good places in Chiang Mai to be honest.

Those who boast about having amazing sexual encounters and experiences at certain establishments but can`t give any names, prices, locations, and details are of no use whatsoever for informative purposes and I will challenge those posters for sources of the details they are giving.

She'll probably do nothing because most of them are Shan refugees and immigrants from Burma. If she does do something, it will probably be to mention it to a higher up. They'll probably call the police, and then we'll see your face on Thai Visa.

I have been participating in this Chiang Mai forum for I think about 10 years now.

Over those years I've been one of the members who has most actively played the field and reported my accounts in detail that has probably saved many a lot of expense by given information of what type of services to expect if considering trying out what's left of the mongering scene in Chiang Mai, including the locations, costs and the services involved.

I do put these establishments under review and share my experiences including those from reports of friends. I have lived in Chiang Mai for 35 years and have many well-connected friends here, therefore, consider myself qualified to report and review the adult entertainment scene in Chiang Mai.

I suspect some posters do have business interests in the hospitality sectors of Chiang Mai and consider my reports at times, bad for business. In the past, I've experienced posters tagging onto every post I make and had to report them so the mods can make these people cease and desist from their bullying techniques..

Your tenure in Chiangmai is beyond doubt Arthur and may explain your feelings about the "scene" there. I've lived in Bangkok for 20 years and sometimes I get the jaded it's all same same. As I write I'm actually here and enjoying the weather and the girls. My m. O. For what's it's worth is to wander around the massage shops find a face I like book an oil massage and see what happens I do this 2 maybe 3 times a day until I meet somebody I hit it off with and then invite her to stay the night. Not always successful but always enjoyable. There is no point in mentioning which shop or girl because this is an one on one experience between me and some random masseuse. It's up to anybody wanting to try this approach to take the time stroll along the street facing the Mae Ping all the way to the Taepai Rd and also along Loh Kroh. The girls I hit it off may be totally different to the girls somebody else clicks with. The other thing about the girls I meet here they are genuinely nicer and friendlier than their cousins who choose to work in Bangkok or Pattaya.

Arthur nobody is saying Chiangmai is a mongering destination comparable to Bangkok Pattaya or other well know Asian destinations. The bleak sad picture you paint of it reflects your personal experience and you are entitled to call it as you see it. For other members including myself our experience has been different. Suggesting because somebody doesn't remember massage shop names that maybe it didn't happen is being disrespectful. Chiangmai is what you make of it and this comes down to expectations state of mind and a certain amount of luck. I love the place and for whatever reason I always have a good time there with a variety of experiences, something sadly Arthur will most likely will never happen for you.

I am sure my reports have been and are extremely useful to many. Chiang Mai does have a lot going for it, but as I've mentioned countless times, these forums are about the mongering scene, not about temples and the mountain views. For that, I suggest moving over to Tripadvisor, but my reports are only pertaining to the commercial sex and mongering scene, what this is all about.

A few days ago saw an ad on craiglists (Chiang Mai section) that had a photo of a massage shop with a phone number. The ad:

So I put the phone number in Google that led me to the: PK. Thai Massage.

This is located in Hang Dong, on the main road (121) near the Hang Dong Road (108). Type: PK. Thai Massage, San Phak Wan, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai into Google for more details.

On their website under services, it offers standard massage service, including massage with HJ and B2B for 1800 baht, by appointment only, incall and outcall.

So I decided to give it a try. Phoned and a lady answered who spoke very good English. Asked her age and she said; in her 30's. Made an afternoon appointment and went there. When I entered the shop it has about 5 tables with mattresses separated by curtains. There was already 1 Farang in the shop.

2 ladies and no way were any of them in their 30's, more like mid to late '40s. One lady took the Farang upstairs and the other one put me on the ground floor mattress separated by curtains. Oil massage 1 hour, 300 baht. She told me the shop had only opened 3 months ago.

She asked me to lie on my stomach and began the message. Very slow, just a rub over with hands that seemed to go on forever, so-called relaxing background music on a CD player that was way too loud and irritating, got boring, the woman looked bored that lasted for the majority of the message. Then she asked me to turn over. After 2 minutes asked if I wanted a HJ for 500 baht. OK, I said, but that too was nothing special.

When finished I asked her about the B2B massage and what was involved? Told me she gets naked, does a massage, choice of covered BJ or HJ, no sex, you want now, 2000 baht she asked? Although it said 1800 baht on the website, I had no intentions of paying that amount for an almost 50-year-old woman I didn't particularly find attractive anyway, just for a naked massage with HJ. Told her OK, next time, but doubt I'll be going back. Wasn't disappointed because it was more or less what I expected.
