This is more expensive than back in the land of OZ, and you can get very very good here for those prices.

Keep in mind that a teacher, accountant, mid level office girls make 12..15K baht a month, so these girls really have tickets on themselves asking this sort of money for ST

I meet girls on TF, and some don't even want money, they just want someone to take them out, make them feel special and they like us want a little it of jiggy jiggy too. I am not young or handsome. Treating the girls with respect and kindness pays back manyfold. Once a Thai girl reaches her late 20's she (and her family) considers herself a lost cause for marriage.

There is a good amount of contact available though other forums but you must be able to speak thai quite well (the web pages are in Thai) - I do not know them now, I saw them a year or so ago. As someone else said the University here is a very prestigious one and the students come from moneyed families.

Spotlight was at the old location for over 25 years, I personally knew the owners Hoss the German and Bob Crabtree who died several years ago. Bob was so rich that when he visited Bangkok he hired a helicopter to take him from the airport to his hotel that had a helicopter landing pad on it's roof.

Having now moved I guess business can't be so good, and with those prices it appears they have become pretty desperate.

This also sends the message that the girls are there mainly as hostesses to sell drinks and if customers want to buy a takeaway the girls are saying; we will go short time but couldn't care less one way or another, can't be bothered unless willing to pay us silly money for customers that are desperate or have more money than sense.

The problem is that these places are setting a precedent and once this starts others will soon follow suit and then the high prices become standard throughout the city wherever boom boom is on offer. They are taking advantage of the supply and demand situation in Chiang Mai, because these bars have virtually no competition. This is why I don't recommend Chiang Mai for mongering, it's very hard work, hit and miss and not good value for money.

Many of the young desirable girls are now working in the glorified HJ parlours and rip-off karaoke bars spread around the outskirts of the city. In those places it can set you back over 5000 baht for a quicky and in the karaoke bars the sky's the limit.

I don't believe most of the stories on here from certain posters telling us how they scored multiple times with stunning girls for practically nothing. Those who explain how hot these girls were but when it comes to giving us names and locations suddenly fall down with an acute case of amnesia. I also dare say that anyone who discovers a real gem in Chiang Mai, probably won't tell us and I don't blame them. But I have lived in CM for many many years and have lots of friends and contacts here. I consider myself as knowing every inch of the city and if there are gems hidden away somewhere, I can assure everyone I would soon find out about it and would give out the information.

Roong Fah Karaoke (Kampangdin Rd opp. O2 Gym) 1500 be for ST, 5000 be for LT, take out only. They have a car to take you and the girl to a nearby ST hotel or to your own hotel if it's nearby, the charge is only 50 be. I was staying at the Maninarakorn Hotel and they let me take the girl there. One manager speak a little English, the other none at all. There's no WiFi here so make sure you've downloaded Thai in Google Translate. The first time I walked in about 8 pm there were at least 2 stunners (8. 5/10) having their dinner. I stupidly thought more would arrive later but when I went back at 9:30 pm, there were only 2 average ones left (7.0 to 7.5/10). Beer and other drinks available, prices are the same as the beer bars. Saw many hotties (8.0 to 8.5/10) at Poppy Bar, Flash Bar and My Tirak 2 Bar (next to Starxix gogo). But I think most of these girls are only there to get drinks from the customers and aren't interested in ST or LT. Its true Chiangmai is not Bangkok but it's not true you can't have a good time there and I am no newbie from Muskogee, living in Bangkok for the past 20 years. The Raspberry Spa is another one of those glorified HJ so-called B2B massage parlours, only with this one I've received reports that full sex is on offer.

It is located in, Tha Noot Pong Soi 2, which is a soi off the Superhighway opposite Bangkok Hospital.

I've been told that the standard package, so-called massage and HJ for about an hour maybe 70 minutes if lucky will cost from 1500 baht up to 2500 baht according to how they determine the attractiveness of the girls.

Full sex is on offer and a girl will be chosen for the task if having a discrete word with the receptionist requesting the full sex package. They don't openly advertise that FS is available and won't mention this unless you ask, probably concerned about the police getting wind of it and being shut down for running a brothel.

It will cost you the standard rate as I've mentioned above, plus around 3000 baht for the sex. So in total it could whack you back over 5000 baht for that package. I have not visited the Raspberry Spa and have no idea whether the sex will be inhibited or mechanical. My guess is that it will be. If you are young hansum man or willing to splash even more cash the girls may give that little bit extra.

If more of these glorified happy ending parlours do have discrete FS on offer, and I guess many of them do, then this will give a rough guide to how much cash it`s going to set you back.

Basically that's about it. Some years ago there were a couple of discos that were renowned for picking up freelancers, but I've heard even those have faded away, unless of course anyone has information to the contrary, but I doubt it.

It may be worth trying the Tapae Gate area late at night, you might be lucky and stumble across the odd real female freelancer, being careful that any girl you pull may not be as she seems and have some dangly bits between it's legs. Also as I said previous; be aware of police jailbait stings down there with under aged girls.

Another point that if some of the skank from the Loi Kroh Road bars have had a slow night, once the bars close after midnight the odd ones do approach guys in the streets around that area, but very hit and miss.

Not sure about Spicy or even if that's still open. Does anyone have any up to date information on that? What about Zoe in Yellow, is that still good for picking up freelancers? Heard that's also become a dead loss.

If you would go to Chiang Mai, surely you would not be going there for sex mongering purposes. Could be better to take a hot girl there with you (my normal practice). Does not mean there is nothing, just every limited, and maybe like Arthur says, too much effort for low reward. I have visited Chiang Mai several times over many years, and tried very few girls there, some in the Soapies.

Around the Thapae Gate area is where the street girls used to hang out, usually during the late hours, after 10.00 pm. It was possible to walk out your hotel room, go to that area and have a street girl in your bed within literally minutes, from about 300 to 400 baht short time. A few of my mates used to hire 3 girls at one time. For 2000 baht it was possible to have an orgy involving 6 girls.

But over time these girls have been cleared away by the police and now replaced by freaky ladyboys that hide in the shadows and pounce on males as they walk by.

Some of those girls were under aged and 3 years ago the police conducted a sting operation in that area. Police disguised as tuk tuk drivers or in plain clothes would wait for for any unsuspecting Farang to try and pull one of the girls, then they pounced, Farang taken to jail. Many of the under aged girls did look older.

Unfortunately you won't find any online either no matter how hard you look.

Well I would vouch for Vietnamise girls. They are very pretty and the service provided by them in SG brothers were no match. I had few regulars and nothing like getting a BBJ with CIM. I was just there in early August for 5 days. I have never run into any of the mentioned brothels in Chiang Mai, and from what I've read, I'm glad that I didn't give any of them a go. Seems like an ultra seedy experience. There are a handful (3) soapies, and I would give those a try. Sayuri is pretty inexpensive 1500-2500 baht and worth a go. You could have some lookers in there, or nothing much. It just depends on your timing. It's harder, and more expensive to get taxi's in Chiang Mai verses Bangkok. I wold download the Grab app if you want to take taxi's in Chiang Mai. If you are confidant on a motorbike, and have an international bike license; then I would suggest renting a motorbike to get around as it's quick and easy to park anywhere.

You are also in Nimman, which is a nice area for food and cafe's. But you are probably 10 min. From the center of most of the action in CM. Your other options are beer bars in the Loi Kroh Road. Area, and the the boxing complex beer bars on the same road. I hang out in beer bars because it's entertaining for me, but it usually takes some work to find a girl I would bar fine. There are some bars where you could pick up Freelancers, but I'll let you look those up yourself.

I've had most of my success finding girls on Thai Friendly. Last time I visited I started messaging a girl on TF while I was in the airport at Bangkok waiting to board my flight for Chiang Mai. Yes, Arthur, and PI is even better IMO although slightly higher costs. I have been to Chiang Mai (for Loy Krathong) a few years ago and was disappointed in the action there, too. I got laid but it was too much work to find and the girls were unenthusiastic to say the least. Sure did enjoy the festival and the roof top bar, tho. Quite spectacular. Cheers.
