Wow, great report, good to see you also had fun, made it much further than me, and added great actionable information.

A few days ago I visited Sabai Dee in Pattaya, one of the 3 BigC soapies, and allegedly the leading one. IMO the lineup was horrible!

I actually asked the papasan if I came at a bad time, as the number of girls wasn't impressive (seems even smaller due to the huge bowl). Besides I was the only guest. Two Israelis came in but left again. He was a little offended, but said that it was their usual number of high quality lineup (sic!) Most of the girls were either overweight, vulgar, aggressively trying to catch my interest (the two bowls are open bleachers), or what I would even rate ugly, or all of it.

I picked the only one I found doable (31 years, Issan, 2 kids). I agree, service was more at "western" standards. We started DFK already standing as I undressed her, and also a little DATY before bath tub. Good fuck too, and we became FB friends. Another difference, the rooms in Sabai Dee are of bigger size and better quality than Sayuri.

At Sayuri I also had eg. Some DFK at my two visits. But I experienced that I in a way had to earn their trust first, it wasn't openly offered. My guess is that Sayuri, besides from the volume turnover being higher pr. Girl, they seem to cater primarily for Asian customers, where DFK and fuck in all positions aren't standard. In Pattaya they primarily cater for Western customers. A little speculative, maybe the farang customers in Sayuri have a history of bad reputation?

Could be interesting to visit the same girl more times in Sayuri, after gaining trust etc. But that's a privilege for the locals I don't have.

But baseline, I found the lineup in Sayuri way better than Sabai Dee.

From my experiences of visiting Pattaya, I never felt the need to go to a soapy.

With it's scores of bars and even regular massage parlours that had FS on offer, plus some girls working in the coffee shops and restaurants being up for grabs including the many freelancers, I was spoilt for choice with girls to suit all tastes and pockets. Soapies would be the last places I would considering using in Pattaya, have no need to do so. I have also found that Chiang Rai had more on offer, although it was quality rather than quantity, but the few options available were all dead certs and much cheaper too.

These Chiang Mai reports always revert back to the Skank Loi Kroh Road and the handful of soapies that over the years are now well played out and passed their sell by dates.

During the last 5 years I have been visiting Bangkok and Pattaya twice each year for my mongering. Although there is still fun to be had in Chiang Mai, I would never consider the city as an option for mongering. When friends visit from abroad, I arrange to meet them Bangkok.

For people who enjoy the finer, more refined tourist attractions, then Chiang Mai is most appropriate for them, but for guys expecting a bit of nightlife and rampant relief, they are going to find Chiang Mai expensive, hit and miss, limited and disappointing.

There are real concerns I Pattaya about the number of visitors. I am a frequent reader of many newspapers / on line news sites. The Russians stay away due to their problems, the Europeans stay away due to a) their problems, Greece and be the devaluation of the euro against the baht!

For one euro you got 42 or even more baht about one year ago. Now you get 36 or 37! So Thailand is now 15% more expensive for Europeans. Sorry not for the Britain but they do not feel European I believe.

Read somewhere that the Chinese travel organisations require huge discount from the hotels. Some of the hotels do have just 30 or 40% of the rooms occupancy. Sorry am not British can not find the word. If that is the case the girls in the soapies will have the same experience!

I'm curious about one thing. I haven't tried Sayuri, but have visited Celebrity perhaps eight times. Sayuri sounds a bit cheaper. Can anyone who has frequented both establishments convince me that I really need to give Sayuri a try on my next visit to Chiang Mai? Once again, thanks to all who are keeping this thread helpful. Next stop Loi Kroh Road. Starts at the circular road not too far from Thapaegate. First part: bars and massages. Then, after about 100 meters a goup of bars "Chiang Mai entertainement complex " sounds huge. Isn't Not much bigger than the entertainmentcomplexes in walkstreet Pattaya. Just bars with everything you can expect there.

Then the gogo's Next to the entertainement complex, Not at the Loh Kroh road but at a street / soi at the right just before you hit the complex that is along this complex is a gogo. Name: Starxix. Have been there several times. You enter, take some flights of steps and at the 2nd or 3rd level you arrive in a small hall with a door that says "starxix. If you enter you hear someone behind you calling you. Did not notice but there is, in the dark, a very small window and someone behind the window. Cashier. 150 baht including one drink.

Paid and entered. A large small stage and chairs around it. Most of the times I was there, mostly around 10 in the evening, 5, 6 girls "dancing " or better said "möving" They are for take out. 600 BF 2000 for the lady.

After this visit I went to spotlight a gogo. Is at the circular not far from thapae gate. I liked that gogo. About 15 girls in shifts of 5 or six "dancing"and after that sitting down at the bar. No fat girls and many of the girls I liked. Just nice girls to look (and more) at. BF 700, gorl: 2000 - 2500.

Sayuri again today, arrived 2 pm.

I counted 35 guests, 17 girls + 1 super model. But girls came and went fast, and there's a whiteboard where you can see how many are in the rooms, their numbers and what time the'll be back. Lineup wasn't as good as last Saturday.

I knew right away, before I ordered a drink, which girl I wanted. So the drinking time was basically to investigate if I could find anything against her!

This time I just informed the papasan her number, went straight to the cashier, put 2 x1000 on the desk and awaited money in return. The papasan took the coloured badge, but I kept waiting at the desk, casually and homely. Then they counted my return money, and gave me 900 back.

Just to confirm what is written here.

Just enter, sit down and have a look. Order a drink if you want. The papasan does only say goodbye when you enter but does not press you at all. Hardly notices you! If you don't see a girl that you like simply leave or sit down and wait. Nobody, ic the papasan will ask you anything. No pressure even if you sit half an hour or longer! So easy going.

As said before: order your girl at the papasan, walk to the cashier, drop 2000 baht and stand and wait for your change. No problem at all!!
