After living in Chiangmai (Thai spelling) /CM for a year.

I've have a suggestion the will probably "floor" many of you!

IMO, never considered CM, even in the remotest sense, a "mongering" destination so If you have the time, of course, and have a "smattering" knowledge of the Thai language (or are fortunate enough to find (a) Thai girl / woman or girls / women who have some knowledge of English).

    1. Purposely avoid the venues where there is no other option other than exchanging money for sex!

    2. THEN. Make an attempt NOT to "pay for it". Using politeness, charm, smiles, flattery. Dating activities. Whatever it takes to emotionally "befriend" someone!

AFTER ALL. If one fails one can ALWAYS pay for it and, IMO, you're better off than when you started because, after all, you did try!

Perhaps you do have some worth other than just to be thought of as nothing but a "walking wallet"!

    Cheers!

I like Chiang Mai. As has been said many times before, it isn't the scene you find in BKK or Pattaya or even Samui, it's more like Udon Thani but spread out more.

You seem to have enjoyed C' Mai from your clear and interesting post. And had fun. Mongering should always be discrete! The number of times I have nearly bumped into.

Even if it was last night's butterfly it can be difficult.

As usual a big range of girls from 3's up to 8's, but overall quality seemed higher than on my previous visits. The bars had many more customers as well. This may have been time of year (last time I was in town was just after the floods) or the fact that the boxing now seems to be on more nights of the week. Maybe it is just tourist high season. I found a shy 24 yo from Chiang Rai and had a couple of nice sessions in a short time hotel, nice breasts even though she had had a kid. I also found a 21 yo (from Sisiket I think) in a beer bar nearer the moat (Number 1? Down a little Soi) and had some fun there too (the girls here are rarely barfined, or seem to be looking for it, but most them are pretty average to be honest). Neither were very experienced and both were shy, but kinda sweet if you like that kind of thing. Didn't do much else, but noticed that the bottom end massage place opposite what was Guitarman (now the "Bear Bar") had gone and has perhaps become an Aussie Bar.

I think you would had to have been discrete, if you were mean`t to be in Chiang Rai, but was actually in Chiang Mai, or did you just get lost? And was the girl from Chiang Rai, lost also?

Even though you say you were in Chiang Rai in the beginning of your post, it sounds to me like you're talking about Chiang Mai, which you mention in the second paragraph.

    So which is it?

  7. #1804

    Did you really mean this?

I will visit Chiang Mai in May for approx. 8 days.

Does anybody know, if there are any BJ Bars like Lollitas or massage places like tulip or mango?

When I'm back, I will report!

    10 days in Chiang Mai

I recently spent about 10 days in Chiang Rai, mainly with work, so mongering was not top priority and had to be discrete. Unfortunately

    So what`s your problem.
I have no problem; I should have realised much earlier that someone who has been in Chiang Mai for many years has nothing to offer the up-to-date needs of a tourist.

My experience is that people of your background (and bear with me, I have no objection to your life style) are either with Thai brides who have them wrapped round their little

Fingers and they monger not or their little fingers are wrapped round yet another Singha on their way to daily oblivion.

People who start their posts 'Today I visited XYZ MP and." provide useful information. Locals who rarely visit MPs and dine out vicariously on the stories of their local mates seldom.

Add to the body of information for the tourist of today.

Thank you for your interest; I hope soon to read of an actual experience at a real MP. I will certainly add my bit in due course.

    Happy sunsets

Funny how you think you can escape serious discussion with unfounded suggestion that I am "an irate business owner" with a feeble justification for that suggestion.

If you don't visit the places in which I am interested for my up-coming visit perhaps you would allow others with more helpful comments to post.

Go sup you beer and admire the view.

You are the one who came on to me and my credibility. All I am doing is trying to save those who are maybe first timers here or not up to date with the situation, some inconvenience, time, money and put them in the picture. I am by no means suggestion they avoid these places altogether, only to be a little cautious, that`s all. It`s good to be pre-armed with some knowledge, rather than go in blind and vulnerable.

    So what`s your problem.

    Maybe.

    Some misunderstandings?

I believe the Number One bar, or bar one as you describe it, if you mean the Number One bar in the Loi Kroh Road that is? Changed hands or was revamped sometime last year. It now has a beer garden and has gone sort of respectable. Just Google it in and see for yourself. And they certainly don`t have a massage section that I am aware of. If they do, please put as all in the picture, as I would love to try it out. You would be doing us all a great service. But even if there are girl takeaways there, this is totally irrelevant to the information in my post.

I suggest that when you visit Chiang Mai again, please inform us where and the names and details of these abundant regular massage parlours where the staff are offering full sex. And this applies to anyone else.

Either put up or shut up. Easy enough to prove me wrong. You only need to give, give, give with the details.

I look forward to your report.

I quote your earlier post which you may have forgotten:

"These days I rarely visit these places anymore. It has all become highly commercial, too fast and too furious for my liking."

And you can forget your ridiculous suggestion that I might own a MP. Difficult to do if living in Eurpoe.
