The problem is : it is possible to find a cosy massage place in chiang mai where a nice young masseuse can make a soapy massage?

I don't understand why the soapy massage is only made by the less expensive girls (who surely are not so nicest than the first).

At least, like it was explained in a precedent post, concerning le Sayuri!

I don`t understand, these are mean`t to be soapy massage establishments and all the girls, young, middle aged, pensioners, are all there to do soapy massage. Girls in a soapy massage, that don`t do soapy massage? Never heard of this before.

Something is wrong and maybe you misunderstood or have been misinformed. Go back and try again and if no result, visit another soapy massage parlour.

Just arriving in Chiang mai (Chedi hotel, by the way, sublime hotel!) , I was quite surprised by a precedent post.

In Sanyuri, the girls at 2500 are the nicest, but they don't do soapy massage.

The older ones at 2000 are doing it.

So you have to choose between youngest and nicest for not body-body massage or the older ones for body massage.

And if I want, like I suppose most of the mongers here, to get a soapy massage by a young one, what do I do?

Can I negociate that or is it an other place where I could get a young one and the soapy?

2000 and 2500 baht? You're a mug waiting to happen.

The most you should pay for an old grot is 1200 baht and upwards to 1600 baht for anything even half decent and I bet that a Thai customer would never be charged these high prices.

They will charge according to whatever they think a gullible customer may pay. If these places were on the level than they would display a service and price list on the premises.

Regarding the seeking of young looker massages in Chiang Mai, I gave that up long ago after getting ripped-off at the Pretty Club.

If you lived in Thailand you would realise that 2000 baht is a lot of money over here, considering that the average Thai only earns 300 baht a day for working a 12 hour shift and although I do not begrudge paying over the odds for a service and a boom boom massage is a service, I do not believe that what they are offering is value for money, not like the good old days when the Thai lady houses were in operation, prices were set, there was no pressures or strict time limits and had a wide range of girls to suit all tastes.

These days the Thais keep most of the good stuff for themselves, including the sideliner girls and student girls who advertise online and on facebook only in Thai, karaoke bars and the well hidden back street brothels we never get to hear about that are not Farang friendly.

This is now the sex scene in Chiang Mai.

you are absolutley correct. what we are discussing here is perspective. of course people visiting on vacation are prepared to spend money. the girl at the mp knows she will never see most of her customers again. however, those of us who live and work here have to live on the local income. of course this is not the girls problem. there are plenty of thai customers who get by paying much more reasonable prices. if i go into an establishment and am able to speak to them in conversational thai, and explain to my "therapist" that i am looking for a place to frequent, most intelligent business people would welcome that.

so, from the perspective of the local "foreigners", i feel confident i may be speaking for quite a few, this attitude is quite frustrating. paying a fair price for loyal regular business is not an unreasonable expectation. i have had p4p all over thailand, and can tell you, no where else have i experienced greediness like i have in chiang mai. it really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. i have found a few exceptions. when i do, i make sure to give them all the business i can.

btw, i am not looking to blame anyone. if i did, it would be the uneducated customers who are paying too much. i my opinion, these money grubbers are shooting themselves in the foot, as far as local foreigner business goes.

i have been to cm 3 times. the last two were to meet dating site contacts.

cm is a nice town, but i would never go as a p4p destination. loi kroh or as i call it "jack shack row" and the surrounding areas are mainly big hj rip off spots from my experience.

probably because in most cases that is true. while loi kroh does have many western restaurants, that or people-watching is pretty much the only reason any non-tourist would go there. it is thus reasonable to assume that most of people dropping in on a massagejoint there are short-time tourists who would probably not care much if the price is 500 or 1000, nor are they likely to tell their friends back in munich about the great service nid at "some massagejoint in cm, somewhere, not sure where, but close to a bar with red neonlights flashing" gave them for 300b in enough detail for nid to get more customers by word of mouth.

so really, no need to blame the woman for trying one on. once in a while they will get a punter more in the know who will be amused at their fantasy price, at which point they can give him a more normal price, while more often than not, the guy who walked in from the number #1 tourist street will have little or no idea about the going rate.

That would be an awfully long HJ for me. No way would I be coughing up another 2KB for visual stimulation. I can't imagine anyone who has spent time mongering around BKK would go for this.

I did have a girl near Loy Kroh try to get another 1, 000 out of me for a HJ. I laughed in her face and told her I could get FS for that price elswhere. Then I asked her if she ever thought about repeat business, or word of mouth. Apparently that's not a passing thought around here. All farangs are tourists. If you don't get all you can from them, someone else will. She settled for 500 total.

this appears to be the new ploy these days all over thailand. glorified hands jobs and a bit of titillation offered at extravagant prices.

the websites feature beautiful horny looking girls, mostly photo shopped, appearing like they have just been contracted from a playboy modelling agency and posh massage establishments springing up everywhere, that offer no more than a quite thrill that may cost you thousands of bahts. craigslist is full of them. even foreigners are now muscling in for a piece of the action in thailand, with ambitions of grasping a lot of money in a very sort time for doing very little, probably as a means of paying for their holidays in the south east asian countries. there are a couple of ads on craigslist, in the thailand, therapeutic services section. one guy claiming to be from south america and a 20 something year old canadian woman, asking for almost 9000 baht an hour to complete a massage and a hand job.

if you can afford the expense and this is your sort of thing, than fine, but here in thailand, i would never pay more than 300 baht for a happy ending and you will discover that after a time, this really does become boring. best to view some of the free online porn vids, probably achieve just as much satisfaction out of those and save a fortune into the bargain.

I'm not sure if Mr. Tick has actually been to Fang VIP, or heard anything about it specifically. If you go through some of his posts, you will see he is painting with a rather large brush, and seems to cover many places he does not appear to have ever set foot in. I have not been to Fang VIP myself, so can unfortunately not say anything about it.

Amazing how you seem to know all the places I have visited and not visited. I see you have me well sussed out.

I have been resident in Chiang Mai for many years. Not only have I visited many of the places mentioned in my posts, but also have contacts and friends who are also long term residents here that regularly socially at different venues in Chiang Mai. We are on the field so to speak, and only passing on our experiences to others.

If you doubt my credibility and experience, than I suggest that you try out these places yourself and come back with your reports. Please be our guinea pig and perhaps in contrast we could all learn from your experiences, that I have no doubts we would all be very interested to hear.

If in the event that a customer complains, the staff will quickly remind him that it is a non sexual service as described on the menu. Yes, the quoted non-sexual service part is there to cover they're own asses, so the customer has no legalities if he wishes to take his complaint further.

In these places the girls are the carrots to tempt the donkeys or should I say; *es. You have been warned.
