SG, thanks for the great information. I will certainly look at either New Season or Mayflower hotel for my stay. I will also use Lovely Tours to purchase my hotel voucher.
The site you referred me too was very informative. Thanks for the lead......

There are many travel agency in town and hotel room prices is about the same, if you go around to compare. Anyway, i give a well known one for you, Lovely Tours, which is along Niphat Utit 3 road. Just tell taxi or tuk-tuk driver, they should know.
Free map is available at hotels and travel agents too.
Lastly, some reading material.

SG, thanks for the information and for helping me avoid making a big mistake in term of location of hotel...
So I back-tracked a bit and found that the airfare from KL-Hatyai is around RM110. So if I were to follow the packages pricing of AA, I should be comfortable to pay up to 700 baht - 800 baht per night for the room. In this price range which hotel would you recommend for me given the fact that I need to be close to the action places such as Pink Lady, Chintana / Atami, Andrews or other KTVs that are not too upmarket.
I am not looking for 5-Stars accommodation. I am satisfied if the room is secure, clean and provide the appropriate amenities such as TV, ensuite and most importantly a good and firm king size bed that does not make too much noise when I embark on my favorite hobby...;-)
So if I go on non-public holiday weekdays (Tue-Fri) am I quite certain to secure a room upon arrival or should I book ahead? Which would be your recommended Travel Agent in Hatyai for me to book a room?
Cheers

Cheers Mate for highlighting to me that this hotel is 2-hrs away from Hatyai. I will have to look at another hotel in town.

RP it was very generous of you to help out a fellow monger with information on Hatyai. I am now more confident about venturing to Hatyai for the first time.
Great advise on the free map at the airport. I have made a note on my travel itinerary planner. As for Songkhla I will leave it for another trip as I am certain this will not be the one and only trip for me to Hatyai ;-)
I will search on for a hotel...
Cheers

1. Pinnacle Satun Hotel is in Satun, which is about two hours from Hatyai.
2. In my opinion, since you are coming on a weekday, don't need to take the AA package, just take the flights to/from Hatyai. When in Hatyai, go to a travel agency and buy a hotel room voucher there. Comparing the room price at AA website with travel agency, cheaper to use this method to get a room. And there are many more choices of hotels at the travel agency.
Which hotel to take, that will depend on your budget.

Cheong gors out there! If you guys are given a choice, which one will be your choice? Danok, seriously, I start to feel that the market has already spoiled. Taukehs and big bosses pull the price up. I wonder is it the same happen in Hat Yai too?. I don't mind if it's too big or what but I just hope that I can get good time with girl. In Danok, risk is high.

I'm sorry but I can't remember where the Pinnacle Satun Hotel is.
I tried to google it but nothing on it.
Maybe someone else can help there.
Most of the hotels are in the central part of town and Andrews is close as well. Less than a 3 minute ride.
You can just catch a taxi/tuk tuk for 30 baht and ask him to take you to the Daichi Hotel and then your within a stones throw of Andrews and 20 or so Karaoke's.
They open up around 10-11am and thats when the guys start looking for the best lookers so hurry there asap.
Oh yea, make sure when you arrive at HY airport that you take a free map. It also has restaurants and touristy things to do on it. I fondly recall seeing Pink Lady advertised on it once If you can't find the maps goto the info counter and ask for 1 as sometimes they forget to put them out.
Your plan looks good. Chintana maybe quiet in the afternoon too.
Pity your not going to CP4. Its the best in town but its on the other side of HY where as Pink Lady is very central so you have prolly picked well since its your first visit.
1 more thing. You probably won't have time to follow this up if for some reason you don't like HY the next town about 30 minutes north called Songkhla has a very good brothel/short time hotel in it.
The chicks are hot. Damn hot and now I'm kinda thinking about returning for a visit heh. Cost is 1500 for the chick and 350 for the room. Straight out sex. No massage involved.
Its quite unusual as the brothel is in a relatively new 2 story building with no windows.
I enjoyed 1 chick there alot and privately arranged with her to LT at my hotel. She couldn't speak english but I can speak a little Thai.
Anyways let us know how you get on.

RP, greatly appreciate your generous sharing. So my plan for 3D 2N trip (Airasia package) will read as such:
(1) Arrived HatYai @ 12 noon (weekday),
(2) Taxi to hotel maybe "Pinnacle Satun" (any better recommendation?)
(3) "Andrews" to book my LT (BTW how far is my proposed hotel to this place?)
(4) Do the usual thing with the LT
(5) Next day (afternoon) off to Chintana for a look-see and "dip"
(6) In the evening go to Pink Lady for a good soapie++
(7) Take a good night rest (unless something interesting "come up")
(8) Next day Noon flight back to reality.
I need your opinion on the feasibility of this plan.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers

If you wanna spend more money and enjoy a higher class of girl and establishment then you should try out Pink Lady and CP4 (chao praya 4 - i cant remember the exact spelling of it) has a good selection. Had many a good time there with 2 shots each time but for some reason the chick only let me have 1 on the last visit. They have the best attitude of all the parlours in HY.
Prices for CP4 range from 1200 up to 1800 and i think the superstars/models were around 2200/2500. I never tried the models as per usual your'd recieve a star-fish experience. I usually paid either 1600 or 1800 and had a terrific time.
Prices for Pink Lady were around 1300 up to 1650. I cant remember exactly but somewhere around there and of course prices may have changed since i was there 3 or 4 years ago
Now for a LT chick
Whenever we arrived in HY the 1st karaoke shop that we would always checkout first before any others is Andrews. Alot of hot chickys there with an old chinese guy as the papason. The Malaysian guys will have pre-booked most of them for the weekend so you can have your pick monday to thursday.
Prices for LT for Andrews was between 2000 and 2500
Prices for other karaoke's was around 1500 - 2500
You can always haggle if the price seems high for the chick
For addresses read Kataman's last report. He covers most of the scene in HY .
Enjoy! HY is a hot little town.

Great so I can put these two places down under ST category. As for LT, any favorite places you might want to recommend to a first time monger to Hatyai? If possible the general pricing so that I do not spoil the market?
