Adlez, since you live in the region, What do you think of the Flipper hotel new wing. I'm booked there in next month at 770BHT per night. I was planning on being in Pattaya for A week, and in BKK for 15 days. Now I am having second thoughts of spending so much time in BKK. I'm now thinking of spending more time in Pattaya, and maybe 10 days in BKK. 4 at the beginning of my trip, and 6 or 7 at the end. It seems to me that Pattaya is much more laid back, and less expensive ( as if Thailand was expensive LOL). What are your thoughts?

I have been to Thailand once having recently spent 5 days in BKK and 5 days in Ko Samui. I am now utterly hooked on Thailand - I just can't get all the women and crazy adventures out of my head. I do agree with grandpa (Z>E>L>D>A) about beach in Pattaya or Jomtian. Both are dirty & water too dirty. If you instist in Pattaya then Kah Lan (Island) beaches are fantastic. Infact one beach at Koh Lan is the best I have seen ever. (Sorry I have not seen Phuket yet).

BKK to Pattaya is about 170 kM. You can go by bus (A/C coaches every 1/2 hour or by taxi or by Limosin service (from BKK Air Port). Its not difficult. Its as easy as moving local in BKK.
