The best bar is at the very back, Pleasure Dome.
Freelancers mainly start to come in after 10 pm.
If you want to know more, please send me a PM.

Just arrived to Rawai from Patong. Took a stroll from beach road up towards Laguna Plaza. There is a couple of bars with some girls on the right side on the way up.
Landed in Laguna plaza around 9 PM and it seemed very slow to me, only a few girls and a lot more guys. Not know if it was to early in the evening. Didn't matter to me as it will be an early evening, hope it will be better tomorrow. Anyone know what time the bars in Laguna closing?

The boys in brown are putting the hairy eyeball on things there too. I've tried to find the same reporting in English but had no luck. In any case I read "hotspot" to mean Covid hotspot not hooker hotspot. Interpret that as you wish.

For short term visitors, aka tourists, not a great situation to find yourself in if you catch it there.
And now personally.
I'm at home isolating, waiting out the covid incubation period to have another covid test done.
My first test was negative when done after two days, so now waiting to retest on day five.
A diving tourist customer of mine, has tested positive, a week after arriving, so they most likely caught it here.
And it seems they were frequenting Bangla right after arrival.
Am I likely to have it? No.
But I can't risk giving it to others and getting a bad business name here.
Would I go back to Bangla? Yes.
But I'd be very careful there.
Something most visitors, working girls, freelancers, and workers in bars, etc, aren't.

I do speak from experience tho, as in the past I've had restrictions placed on me by a lot of these upper market places in Patong.
Even being grilled by them when returning at night with my Thai girlfriend, who was actually registered on the room.
Ban Lamai for one, and also Grand Mercure both back in 2016.
In those days many of these hotels promoted themselves as family friendly hotels and didn't want to be seen as part of the seedy side of Patong as they saw it. These days, post covid, they don't have the family types filling them, so they might well be more relaxed on things.

I cannot attest to how they operate in Phuket, but would be suprised if they had an issue with guests being brought in.
BTW. This is in no shape or form a criticism of "ThaiGoodTimes". His posts are amazing on Phuket and have helped me and several others on this forum. Kudos to you brother.
I brought up this point merely to see what other people have experienced at Accor group hotels because I would consider staying at one in Phuket.

The only other problem was that the shower was awkward. It was a large bathtub, not a walk in type of shower.

As for are-Mar, I read in another forum that they charge a 500 bht joiner fee.

The bars on Nanai Road are picking up.
And with Bangla a hotspot to avoid, its worth heading elsewhere in Patong.
Some bars I've been last with nice afternoon and early evening talent sitting our front.
One More Night bar near fat boy's bar.
Doozy bar and off shore bar, near halfway Inn restaurant.
Also, a brand new bar, no name opposite doozy bar.
Then walk further along to Pantina bar.
Add in Mango bar as well along there.
Well worthy of a visit to check it out.
Some of the best young to late 20's talent I've seen.
Especially given I first saw them at only 4 pm in the afternoon.
