I think I may be taking some of this to an extreme but hey you only live once and this may be my only single trip to Thailand.

But I've done just about every research there possibly is, I've hit up the Thaifriendly website, making a list of what bars are most recommended.

According to a thread on Trip Advisor it is guest friendly. This means there is no extra fee as long as you have booked a double. Be advised that she will have to check in at the front desk with ID. Do not be scared by this. This is standard procedure and no big deal. I presume they check their age. Seriously this happens all the time at the hotels. Nothing to worry about.

It is so "usual" that when I initially checked in at the RMar (great BTW) they give you a card that says "Overnight guests not originally registered are not entitled to the free breakfast" LOL.
