First time in Phuket. Many thanks to those that have reported before me. Adding my experience.

Hotel: Summer Breeze. Positives: location, half a block away from Bangla, which reads as easy walking distance, but not so close that it's noisy. Even better, it's on a street that serves as the scooter parking lot during walking street hours, which means when the clubs let out, the hotel serves as a good place to people watch and / or pick-up stray FLs that are looking for last minute hook-ups. GF, no joiner fees. Staff is friendly. Negatives: no elevator, which doesn't impact me. And Wifi is at times hit or miss.

Katherine's Massage. Location is a little odd. True that telling a taxi to aim for Twin Inn is ideal, since this is just two doors down. I had time so per guidance I tried the shuttlebus from Patong to Phuket Town (30 THB), which took 50 minutes and runs every 30 minutes. Plus another 15 minute stroll to the place. It's located in an area that's a little weird. For those of you who watched the movie Expendables 2, this place reminds me of the run down Soviet made American city mock-up. Faded colorful buildings that looks like they're remnants of a past war. Wide streets, but very little traffic. Inside, the operation is top notch. Went in shortly after 4 pm and was quoted 2 K for 90 minutes no muss no fuss. Line-up and selection was straightforward. Service was fantastic, shower, massage leading into B2 B and light teasing, transitioning into BBBJ and FS. Sweet girl, but was only there for 2 weeks. Tipped 300 THB. Overall, I would repeat.

FL. I haven't had experience with LBs, so found myself suspecting all the aggressive approaches on the street. I'm starting to pick up on some of the nuances. Regardless of the girl, I would question whether she was of age, which sure leads into an opportunity to inspect her ID, but more practically, gets her to talk a bit so I can gauge the voice. Another thing I've noticed (may or may not be true). It's been / and going to be raining during my stay. It seems like the club girls are more likely to not have an umbrella, vs. The LBs which I think stay outside more are more prepared. So I've been using possession of am umbrella as a filter. Haven't tried Illuzion or Tai Pan yet. Will update.

Chang & Bangkok Residence. I tried hitting up these places after 4 am expecting some FL activity, but found both to be very sparse. The pool hall girls (with the baseball caps) seem very unfriendly and all the non baseball cap girls who are playing pool with guys. It almost seems like the girls came in with the guy from somewhere else. Any guidance on how to operate in these two pool halls would be appreciated. But otherwise, both seem weak hunting grounds.

A lot of pluses to this hotel. IMO perfect location. Half a block to hit Bangla, which makes logistics of bringing a girl back easy. Far enough away that there's no real noise issues. This street becomes the scooter parking area during nights, which means a good spot to pick up stray FLs are they end their shifts. Staff is very friendly. No joiner fees. They even rent open rooms for ST to working girls. Main gripe: Wifi is spotty.

Katherine's massage.

Went during happy hour. Quoted 2 K with no fuss. Line-up and selection was very straightforward. Room was nice and clean with shower. Service was very well done. Massage with nice transition into teasing followed by BBBJ, FS. Great attitude, although mine provider is visiting from Bangkok and is leaving in a couple of days. The place is in a weird area. The buildings are colorful but run down. If anyone knows the movie Expendables 2, it has the feel of that Soviet made mock American city run down kind of feel. Very wide roads, with minimal vehicles and people. Agree, getting a taxi to Twin Inn is a great option. I had time so I tried a shuttlebus from Patong Beach Road / Bangla intersection that cost 30 THB. Drop off at Phuket Town took 50 minutes plus another 15 minute stroll, but gave me a chance to see the area. Overall, I was impressed with Katherine's. A little out of the way from Patong.

This is my first holiday in Patong although I did 10+ trips to Thailand, reading the Phuket thread once in a while did not get me too excited. Because the scene is already well documented, thank you guys. I will keep my report short. In case it is reported already, please have patience with me. Maybe you want to read the last paragraphs only and skip the intro.

Hotel.

I arrived last weekend and am staying in the Alfresco Phuket Hotel, distance to Bangla road aprox. 1 km. Easy walking distance for me and not too noisy and girlfriendly. At the reception there is a sign "500 BHT joiner fee", but I talked to Michele, the italian owner and he told me, as long the booking is for 2 persons, there is no fee. I am pleased with the hotel that got good revies, clean, well maintained, efficient staff, functional wifi and would recommend it, as long as you do not want to stay closer to BR.

FL.

They are in the clubs and around BR, as already described in the thread. I would not pick up from the street, met a nice one at Illusions.

Internet.

I had a look at badoo and wechat, got some hellos as well, nothing exciting for me or worth the effort.

Gogos.

Visited a few of them and was not impressed, I agree with the members that Suzi Wong 1 (the one at the very end of the soi) has the best lineup. But, with all the spanking going on, the ladies are not my cup of tea when it comes to barfines.

Beer bars.

In Bangla there are plenty of them, some have poles with dancers, I found these quite entertaining because the ladies were really dancing, instead of doing the Bangkok shuffle. Well these are nce to look at and don't deny a drink if you offer one. Maybe I am too old at the age of 56, but talking to a few of them, I did not get the vibe, that they were keen to join me in the room. Coyotes? I am not aware of reading this here, maybe some seniors can help.

Other regular Beer bars had only a few ladies in each bar, but (there is always a but) most are older and 6 or less, you will only find a diamond in the rough once in a while. Ohoh, they have friends being thirsty as well. Does it make me cheap Charly, when I usually deny drinks for "friends" of a lady I just met? OK I'm aware, I will not earn jai dee points for doing so, but I don't like to act like a sucker, just being gentle but firm. I met a petite and cute 27 yo in a bar in front of the male gogo club WTF on Soi seadragon. For having almost no tits a 6, only a little english, but seemed to be bright and not boring at all. Answering the standard questions and then playing a game, because there is nothing to talk about anymore bores me to hell. Sorry I got distracted, end of rant. Well, that evening I didn't barfine her straight away because I felt I might look a little bit like [CodeWord910] when walking with her, don't know if you ever had this feeling. So talking to her, I learnt that she suffers migrane and has to avoid the daylight. Maybe you are a vampire got me a good laugh. Talking about what to do when retiring to the room she explained that she is not that much into sexual activities. The last 3 weeks she stayed with a guy. A very good man. Who let her sleep all day aaaaand did not had sex with her. BTW, BF is 1000 BHT and 2000/3000ST / LT for her.

Well, this is only one example, but I met a lot of ladies who apparently had to much baggage to be barfined by me. Hmmm maybe I'm spoilt and just not a good man, and I'm sure she can be good company, but sorry, I would not pay 4000 BHT for this.

Other Beer bar area.

There is a street full Beer bars close to my hotel, I was not aware of from reading the posts. Îf you look at google maps you will see a river in Patong, one road that crosses the river is Soi Rat Uthit 200 that was mentioned in this thread already. The Soi with the Beer bars is close to the river between Soi Rat Uthit 200 and the Soi south of it. Very similar to the regular Beer bars described above, but cheaper. BF500,1500/2000ST / LT.

Massage.

Walking Soi Kep Sab a lady took a liking for me who told me 1000 BHT boom boom upstairs. Hmm, usually I am not keen of having sex at these places with basic amenities, did not carry a condom either. Let me do the interview and find out to what it leads. So how about smoking me? Check. Without condom? Check. Do you provide condom for sex? Check. You will take all clothes off? Check. Can I touch you everywhere? Check. OK, she did not look hot but acceptable MILF mid thirties and not fat maybe a 5, so upstairs we go. The room was a small, dim lit cubicle as expected. She kept her promises although the BBBJ was for maybe 3 minutes only. She was tight or used her vaginal muscles very well so the boom boom was good, she cleaned me up and gave a short oil massage after the deed. Not sure what your definition of "budget" is. But I stayed at the are Mar Resort. Girl friendly and worth the money. I think it was around 1800 baht / night.

Most of them have 10-20 girls. There are no gogos in Phuket with 100 girls. All Phuket gogos are located in the Bangla Road area. The best one is Suzy Wong 1, the last gogo on the right side of Soi Seadragon with a bunch of very hot girls.

Happy you enjoyed Katherines! I personally think it's best value especially happy hour 2 k THB. Last time I was in the area I looked inside Monroe and they seem to have a good lineup and I heard from others it's good but can't give any feedback. I think they run a 2 hour setup and I suspect New angel I saw them building last time will be similar. There is more fishbowls in the same area but also in the close vicinity.

Will try to visit next time I am around.

- How much is the normal going rate for S / T and L / T?
