I'm going to Phuket again mid-December and would really appreciate some advise on bars with nice music and possibility to pick up some semi-pros. Prices go up. Worldwide, inflation averages 3 to 4% per year. It's not a smooth change, prices take jumps between price points. So instead of a $1 item going up by $0. 01 every 3 months, it will stay the same price for a few years, then jump to $1. 19.

Sexual services don't have the long supply chain, so prices eventually have to go up. When they do go up, especially in the cheapest market areas, the increases are large. A 500 baht service will go to 700,800 or even 1000. So instead of a $15 BJ, it will be $30, where it will stay until, due to inflation, it's once again a $15 BJ.

The reason the price goes up isn't because some new guys are throwing money around, that only affects the top of the market. Ultimately, everyone has to eat.

Looking back in the forum, in 2002ST was 1000 baht. I'm willing to bet you're paying more for everything else now than you were paying in 2002. Why shouldn't the price of pussy increase as well?
