Been 10 years since I was last in Thailand and Patong. Stayed at the Expat again. Easy walking distance to Bangla Rd. While there, I typically ate dinner at the night market on Sawatdirak Rd, just past the Georgian Restaurant, or grabbed something at the stalls off of Bangla Road. Biggest change I noticed was all of the Russians that were there. They appear to have replaced the Scandanavians that were there on long holidays back then. Was surprised to see Thais even speaking in Russian to attract Russian customers to their restaurants. Good for them to do what they can to make a living.

Couple of observations that I wish I knew more information on:

1) Pumpui club had been empty and closed, but they redecorated it and reopened while I was there. They reopened with about a dozen women I had never seen in Phuket before that. All were gorgeous and I loved the flight attendant outfits. However, could not get any P4 P action out of them. Believe it is a hostess bar. Where girls just hang out with you and your friends, asking for you to buy them expensive lady drinks. Why do I say this. I asked several staff what the bar fine amount was, and none could respond with an answer. Some said that I had to ask the lady herself. I tried to have them understand that I was talking about the fee paid to the bar, for having a lady leave, and they would respond that the girls cannot leave until 3 am, closing time. When I asked the ladies if they wanted to go with me, they all said they were working at the bar until 3 am I did notice that some of the girls were slightly taller than most typical thai girls, and appeared to be have some non-thai looks about them. Whether some Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, or whatever. After not making any progress on getting any P4 P action out of a Pumpui gal, I gave up and just would instead have beers across the street at Kangaroo bar and enjoy the show from a much cheaper distance. And then go monger with other gals.

2) Playboy bar is located next to Illusions Nightclub. Just to left as one goes up the Illusions stairs. Here was a beautiful and very social girl at Playboy bar each night. Her name was Phi (Fffffh-eye) - who did an amazing job of working the guys (as a hostess girl in a very Japanese type way), but I never saw her get barfined. After watching her for a couple of days, and being really intrigued by her, I went up to her when she was dancing on the bar op, but did not have a customer in front of her. I bought her a lady drink and started talking to her. Ended up asking if she wanted to leave with me and she declined. Said she had been in Phuket for 3 weeks, this was her last night, she was going to collect all of her money and go back to Bangkok the next day. I had no idea what she was talking about and thought she was just blowing me off.

But, I did not ever see her again at the Playboy bar on any subsequent night. After she had left, I did instead see several new girls that I had not seen at the bar before. I also asked the staff about Phi. Where is she? They said she had gone back to Bangkok, but never gave me any further information. It got me wondering. Perhaps some of these clubs all around Thailand are all owned by the same people / company and they rotate girls between clubs / cities. Maybe Phi got a 3 week stint in Phuket before resuming her work at whatever regular Bangkok establishment she worked at. When I was later in Bangkok, I went to Baccara on Soi Cowboy, hoping I would run into her there. Given how Japanese hostess like she had been acting. Didn't see her there. I wished I had gotten further details about all of this. (See my recent Bangkok report for the crappy performer I pulled from Baccara instead).

Also, the dozen or so gorgeous new Pumpui girls had to have come from somewhere. They weren't all sitting around bored in Phuket one day and then all working at Pumpui the next day. Would love to know the answer to all of this, mostly so that I could get better insights in how to have some P4 P action with those superstars!
