Turns out, I will be in Patong after all and have done some pre-trip research, would just like to post these here so maybe people can benefit or weigh in.

Girl Friendly Hotels. Almost all hotels are girl friendly if you book a double room. All you got to do is ask, I mainly choose budget hotels (25-40 USD per night) because I would barely stay in them except to rest and bang. Just send them an e-mail or ring them up and ask what is the guest policy.

You could use one of the many 'Girl Friendly Hotels in Patong' lists found on Google too, although these tend to be situated near Bangla and boxing stadiums and would be rather noisy, or have reports of it being dirty.

ThaiFriendly. Tried it out, wasn't super successful to be honest, the offerings are not too shabby and there are freelancers there but they are asking anywhere from 3000-5000 for LT. You can bargain this down though. I try and follow a rule of 2000-3000 for LT like most of the reports here.

After more than a week, there are less than 10 freelancers so I would say, best not to bother.

Phuket Town. The area around Phoonpon has a lot of full service massage parlours, including Katherine's. If you google the plaza though, you would see that it gets raided sometimes, like once a year or two?, BUT the reports always say 'No reports of prostitution' (pictures of glass bowl included). Soi 11 is a seedy part but hey its rows of fishbowls, what's not to love.

Most venues welcome girls in Thailand and in Phuket I been to Rock hard with my GF no problem but this was 2009. But I don't think you need to worry most venues will respect if you come with a girl.

You don't say, but I hope you are staying in Patong, not Phuket proper. Assuming so we loved RMar. It is well priced nice girl friendly and only a few blocks walk from Bangla road. Best combo of quiet close and girl friendly IMO. Staff is great too. Make sure to book a double to avoid joiner fee.

Last time I was staying in Amari but it was very far from the action.

BTW short time by definition means one shot and she leaves and long time means overnight. Usually two shots before bed and one in the morning. It is a good hour cab ride to Patong, but worth it o see "the scene" IMO.

I agree with ST definition. But past two years I find LT girls leave at 4 or 5 AM, no chance for morning shot. I don't repeat with these girls but I find it somewhat frustrating. I don't like to get into an argument and I don't want to insist they stay. So now I do only ST. I suppose, reading the forum, that I could ask how long they'll stay for LT, but frankly I don't believe them. Suddenly a "sister" will get sick at 4 AM or something like that and off they go.

Reading all your posts have been a revelation, unbeknownst to me, I had already read like 10 of them but now I have finished them all.

I believe I would unfortunately stay in Phuket Town as it is near to the day activities like snorkelling, diving, kayaking etc. Patong holds little interest for me in that respect and I should be able to get my groove on between Katherines, New Angel, and some chat apps. I plan to head to Phi Phi too so there isn't much time. Hopefully with more time, I would be able to return and stay in both towns since there are some locations in Patong I hope to visit too.

Given your extensive experience, I hope I can respectfully, ask how you stay safe from STDs? The forums have reports of dudes who woke up with an itch (and more) after a fun night so I am wondering if there are any cardinal rules you abide by or signs you look for in order to avoid the risk.

I am not that active in punting as many gentleman here are my 5 cents. If I am unsure about the girl I don't kiss her or get intimate in a way that might transmit something. I am no doctor but there is plenty of information available on the subject in the forum and what they do and how they remedy themselves. Some people make sure to take a treatment of antibiotics when returning back to normal life and use vodka to clean their private parts after some naughty fun. I don't know how effective anything of this is but you notice if a girl takes good care of herself and mouth hygiene as well as intimacy it's unlikely you will contract something from a blowjob or kissing. There is always a risk it comes with the territory if it is a ONS from a bar or a working girl.

I only been to one outside the area and I think it was called Bangkok (Why I don't recommend staying there whole trip is that its a bit quiet early.

Phuket is not big and all talk about 1 hour in traffic can happen but it depends on where you going. If you stay in Patong and leave for Katherines around 7 pm it will be about 30 minutes. Taxi, Tuktuk and even the few Taximeter is expensive best is if you can transport yourself on motorbike.

You can also consider staying in Chalong which will keep you close to activities as well but actually have a bar life. (The area near Chalong Pier and nearby). Rawai and surrounding area as well but I'm badly navigated there and normally go with expats and just follow them. That area is cheaper and you can get more value for money.

Don't book all in advance scout out a place you want to start with and then if you like it stay else move on. Most of all enjoy Thailand it is a wonderful place and my first trip is still close to my heart haha.

If one of your main goals is to get with girls, do not stay in Phuket town itself. Go read the recent post comparing Pattaya and Phuket in the Pattaya forum. When he talks about Phuket he is talking about Patong beach. Phuket town would be a distant third behind Pattaya and Patong.

Don't worry just don't rush into things with girls and if bad mojo just send them back. What I mean if they suddenly change in the room politely ask them to leave. Try again there is plenty of girls.

Please also report back your experience. I see you mostly ask questions about different destinations but this time maybe you can provide some here since it's really slow nowadays.

As I said, take a taxi to Patong, nearly an hour ride. There are lots of places to stay. For less tha $100/ night I highly recommend th RMar. It is a really nice hotel, close to the action, but not so close as to be seedy. Nice rooms. Nice pool. Girl friendly (I. E. They expect you will be bringing back a girl, no problem and no extra fee, make sure to book a double room tho). You can walk to Bangla road from there.

Bangla road is where all the action is. There are discos and bars and such. Since you said you are not a bar type I would not try to get freelancers in the discos. Head down to Soi Sea Dragon to the small bars and gogo bars. Walking down Bangla from the main Road, SSD will be on your right about midway to the beach. On SSD you wil find 10 or 20 little open air bars with 2 or 3 girls at each and about 10 gogo bars around the edge. All girls at the bars and gogos will gladly go with you to your room. The deal is you pay a "bar fine" to the house and take the girl. Then after doing the deed you pay the girl in the room (not before).

If you want the girl next door, they will be at the open air bars. They are super cheap to take away. They often have little games to play with dice or pounding a nail into a block (they will shame you at this!) to just have some fun. Have a beer, play some games. See one you like? Ask her "you go with me?" If she hasn't asked you. If she says yes, as her how much for short time. How much for longtime. How much for bar fine. Don't be shy. This is why they are there..

Sorry. Misspoke. Our go to for takeaway was Diablo not Devils Playhround. Small club but pretty girls ready to go. Just a couple doors down from Suzi Wong's.
