One of my friends did that ride 5 times over the last 17 months and she says it is nice and comfortable, but she is only 152 cm and 44 kg. Masks worn the whole ride. What she rode was not a full size bus, it's what she called a mini bus, about 9 passengers if full. They do make stops along the way for additional riders and breaks. When she gave up her tiny apartment in Phuket, she shipped her few belongings separately. Luggage space on the mini bus is limited.
If you don’t trust your vaccine, you should reconsider taking that trip. It’s likely that there will be other passengers and the Thai COVID rate is high and unknown due to limited testing.

I've finally managed to navigate the sandbox program and in Patong now. Do not have much experience here (mostly done family holidays). Is there existing something similar to Mitu or Doki Doki here?

Posts: 211Getting to Bangkok from Phuket
So how terrible is the bus ride from Phuket to Bangkok? I'm concerned about getting into a long bus ride when I just have the sinopharm vaccination and I will have 2-3 suitcases because I'm moving to Thailand for at least a year (reports to come! I'm tempted to just do the quarantine in Bangkok, but Phuket sounds more fun.
Any thoughts / suggestions?

The first time was in Pattaya. I exploded my condoms it was so tight.
The 2nd time was in Patong my 2nd week of sandboxing. As soon as I noticed it, I preferred to pay it and leave.
The problem with transgender people is that even when you ask them they assure you that they are real girls. Considering their operation, they must imagine that they are real girls now.
I specify that I have nothing against LB or transgender people. If they're happy, I'm happy. But it's not my thing, I can still have my preferences and I hate it when they lie about their gender. It is a product scam.

Posts: 3First time in Phuket, day 1
Just touched down in Phuket a couple days ago for what will hopefully be a several-month long trip. After suffering through the visa application, the COE application, emailing hotels to arrange testing and inquire about girl-friendliness, a terrible layover, and getting my brain inspected by a covid swab, I'm happy to have finally made it.
My first day, I arrived in the afternoon, went through immigration, got my first covid test, and then took my pre-arranged ride to my hotel in Patong. Getting out of the airport was not too bad; it took me a little over an hour to go from landing to finding my driver. After checking in, the hotel asked me to stay in my room until the covid test result came back, so I ordered room service and took a nap. I ended up getting the call after around 5-6 hours or so. By the time I was free, it was around 10 pm, and I went out for a walk to see what was around. On my way out, the front desk was kind enough to remind me to buy anything I needed before 11 pm, as that was when all the convenience stores would close.
It's my first time here so I have no reference for comparison, but things seemed very quiet and dead. I walked down the large ratuthit songroipi road, and along the way the only stores open were a couple of massage parlors and a small restaurant or two with a couple of customers each. I turned onto Bangla, walked over to the beach, and checked out the side street with suzy wong's. Literally everything was closed, and the only activity was a few foreigners drinking near the beach, and taxi drivers hanging out smoking. There did not appear to be any freelancers at the gate area like I was hoping. I did see one attractive young Asian girl sitting around on the stairs, but my sense was telling me she was a little too pretty and western-styled to be in the business, and she didn't look up for more than a glance. I don't really have a conventional monger appearance though, and most of my experience is from mongering in the USA where anyone under 30 and remotely attractive must be assessed with extreme caution (slight exaggeration), so I might be mistaken. I'm kind of kicking myself for not at least saying Hi.
I walked back up ratuthit with the intention of trying out a massage parlor, but then I saw a slim girl in a short, tight, slightly unfashionable dress, with fake tits, around medium height, standing facing the street. Jackpot--even I can't miss these signs. I was a little apprehensive due to her height (not sure how to tell apart ladyboys yet) but decided to just go for it anyway. She looked at me and then looked away (I think she might have been about to go home, or I just really don't look like a monger enough). I figured it probably wasn't going to get any better so I approached her and said "Hi". I hadn't done much research and I readily agreed to 1500 for short time without really trying to bargain, which I'm seeing now was maybe on the higher-end but still within reasonable bounds. Her friend showed up immediately after we started speaking (weird timing) and drove us to her recommended short-time hotel. The room was 300.
I'm not much of a smut writer so I'll just say--assisted shower, BBJ, BBFS, CIP. She was very compliant, extremely tight (too tight--I'm not exactly known for my size, but I couldn't get all the way in and we didn't have lube) and did a bit of service but overall the energy was pretty low and not very flirtatious or enthusiastic. Much of this was my own fault for not speaking the language and being very tired, but either way it was not the sexiest vibe. Still miles better than the USA though, and I feel like I was becoming spoiled 10 minutes into my first short-time here. We left shortly after completion, exchanged lines, and she called me a motorcycle back to my hotel.
I'm planning to focus on civilian tourist activities over the next few days, with a bit of sneaking off here and there; however, at this point I'm not completely sure yet where to reliably search for and find attractive girls, especially for LT. I've seen a few foreigners walking around with very pretty young spinners, including in my hotel lobby (maybe one of you guys haha), so they must be out there and available somewhere. Not sure if the official freelancer spot is somewhere other than where I was looking, or if wandering around at 11 pm on a random weekday night was just the wrong timing. My plan is to try one of the walking-distance massage parlors, and then rent a scooter looking for other activity I guess. The girl mentioned that she worked in a bar, though I was under the impression that bars and especially girl-bars were closed. I suppose I'll have to look harder. I did sign up for Thaifriendly but the selection seemed poor without paying for the membership, and I didn't bother trying to message anyone, but I'll explore this option more if I can't find anyone live.
Anyways, I'm glad to have finally made it to the LOS. Hope everyone is enjoying their time here.

I'm sorry, I can't remember the names of massage parlors. I never write them down, I go from memory and often I have to ask my little masseuses to send me their google position, the name or a photo of the place and sometimes it gives quite funny situations with interior photos of massages shops or expired google location just unusable.
This morning I went to see Pom, 30 years old. I find her cute. She must be within 163 cm at first glance but she has a very well proportioned body, as soon as I look at her I get a hard-on, which is rarely wrong sign for me. She massages me very well and when she's finished, she gently hugs me in my arms. She doesn't want to suck this little **** off me. Usually it's unacceptable but instead she comes to sit naked on my cock and jerk me off with her pussy. She plays with her hips and when I'm very close to enter inside she escapes which drives me crazy. When she considers that the torture has gone on long enough, she puts a condom on me and impales herself with me to end my suffering.
This afternoon I went to post a package for a friend in Pattaya. Despite my Waze and easy Rawai's setup, I couldn't find the post office. I ask a saleswoman on the side of the road who has no idea what I'm asking her. After 5 minutes of walking around her I discovered the post office just behind her little stand. I shouldn't have said "Post office" with the Thai accent, I think.
I go inside. No problem sending a package, an employee hands me a small cardboard box to inform the recipient. I reach a small tablet with pens after tripping over the fan cable and slipping on a roll of adhesive tape lying on the floor. There are a few receipt racks and a spider the size of my hand settles right in the one next to me.
I come back to the employees. One of them takes the package from me to weigh it. Everything seems to be going perfectly well and I am already happy, I will be able to go to the beach and the weather is nice. After a good 5 minutes she tells me that it is not possible to send the package to Pattaya because of the lockdown at the moment and everything is closed (and therefore the post offices too) but that I reassure myself because as soon as once the lockdown is over, I will be able to send my package again. She tells me to come back next week to see, yes but next week I'm going back to Paris, so I'll go home with my package if the lockdown is not over and in my opinion there will be a long time. In the meantime I have to pay the price of the box. I see them frankly sorry but they can't do nothing for me and I feel the same paralyzing despair invading me as when I try to buy alcohol outside of the authorized hours in 7/11.
The rules seen by the Thais are stronger than you, you will never have the last word, not even in your dream.

Well let's wait till August then, at the moment with all the rain and showers better hold, usual in August weather is improving.
Shopping malls, closures is big down point, how thai people think to attract tourists and support economy and sales?
Well is the land of smile. 👎128078;.

I gave up my trip to Pattaya. I am staying in Phuket and i am happy. I commute between hotels in Rawai and Patong. I find all my happiness here. It must be said that I started to build my network with massage parlors and my Thayfriendly contacts made before my arrival in Phuket. Here it is very safe, most people are vaccinated. Why would I go to Pattaya which is in the red zone, with a 9:00 pm curfew where there are covid clusters everywhere?
Regarding the weather, it is clear that this is not the most favorable period. From memory, it rained 3 or 4 days in a row at the start of my stay (I arrived on July 3). Then some beautiful torrential downpours that lasted 3 or 4 hours. Obviously I was underneath with my motobike. The weather has been very good and also hot for the past few days. I got really sunburnt.
Jungceylon is closed as well as Bangla road and most of the shops in Patong. A few bars, restaurants and hotels attract visitors. Thus, going from one to the other one can have the illusion that everything is (almost) normal. We just have to disregard the 95 % of stores closed. Since my arrival, I have nevertheless noticed that there are more and more tourists, this morning the large breakfast room was full of people at the Four Point Sheraton. When I arrived on July 3rd, we were right in the little restaurant on the beach road. Little by little, more and more shops and massage shops open and massage girls.
Besides, I find Patong more depressing than Rawai and Nai Harn where almost everything is open, there are more people, Nai Harn beach is more lively.
In the evening I will dine at Baanlaimai, last night all the tables were full I had trouble finding a place.
