I went to Tai Pan last Monday night when around 2:00 AM some twenty police and military personel came in to the place to shoot vidoes and making pictures. So I am not quiet sure the 1:00 AM close down order came by the mayor. On Wednesday morning 1:00 AM the owner realy closed the place.

Anyways you just have to pick a girl a bit earlier, or for that matter you meight get targeted a bit sooner by a girl.

Patong area is now closing down ALL entertainment venues at 1 am. Part of "cleaning up the island" or some bullshit the mayor is pushing through. This has effectively killed the nightlife scene and will cripple a lot of businesses in the area. Incredibly shortsighted and not planned out.

If you planned to come here for the nightlife, best to hold off until they inevitably reverse course.

Wow it's radical, but simply means that guys need to move their mongering activity into an earlier timeslot. If bar has to close early then it should open early. Is it really necessary to start at a disco at 1 AM? Perhaps it is, and all discos will die.

I don't think that Mayor will last long. Living dangerously.

My past experiences on my first trip to Phuket was mainly bargirls from the likes of Tiger etc. Realized I was paying too much (LOL newbie mistake) too late.

Next 2 trips I used mainly Tango and Badoo with great success. Also picked many massage girls.
Watery sport to do on the days I'm not mongering and oily's everyday.

I thought James Bond Island is a waste of time, but you like it. Phi Phi Island is much better, for tourist purposes.

Personally I would not bother with Bali. Balinese girls are pretty average, once they are over 20. Seem to age very rapidly, and just not my style. Jakarta (Javanese) girls should be a lot more beautiful.

If you like Watery sport, you are probably best to stay with Phuket, however maybe start your trip with Pattaya and Bangkok, and stay there as long as you are enjoying it. If not, move on. The quality of the girls could be better than Phuket. I haven't been to Phuket recently. Got bored with it quite a few years back, whether for girl mongering or not, however I still prefer it greatly, over Ko Samui.

Bangkok and Pattaya may have better looking girls, naked girl bars, and pornstar type Oily MPs, if these things might be interesting.

I walked around a little and grabbed some streetfood (Padthai from a stand) and decided to go to Katherine's. For everyone worried about taxis, I recommend the app "Grab" for hailing a taxi. I used it 3 times yesterday and got an Innova and Toyota Fortuner SUVs. The price of the ride is displayed as soon as you request, so there are no surprises. All the drivers were quite polite as well and really nice cars.

I took the Grab taxi to Twin hotel which was right next to Katherine's since the massage joint itself was not showing in the search of Grab app. The cost of the taxi was 570 THB. As soon as I entered the building, at about 5 pm, the papasan gave me 3 A4 sized cards. I want to warn here, it's hard to make a choice using these. I suggest you ask to see the girl (s) you like before deciding. I picked michelle (#55). She should be a different Michelle than the #14 reported upthread. She had no boobs and thin and short. But she was smiling as soon as she came out and was talking surprisingly good english. The papasan showed me 2600 thb and said 600 thb discount for the happy hour..

I went with friends to Katherine yesterday but the rate they showed us was 3600 THB. When I asked about happy hour he said OK 3000. I told him the rate I heard was 2600 minus 600 happy hour discount but he stuck to 3000 and so we left. What is the actual rate. Is the rate different for weekday and weekends. I seek advice from the senior members on here for other places in Thailand (not Pattaya). I was thinking of Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Alternatively I'm open to suggestions for new similar destinations in Asia like Cambodia or Vietnam but very hesitant as those reports are also inconsistent. I know I will have a good time in Thailand, just need to change it up a little.

I must say that my good times in Phuket were a direct result of all the info on ISG. I have read every report and they were all helpful.

If you want a high quality beach, boating and diving destination with no shortage of P4 P opportunities, I would also endorse Koh Samui, with ground central being the Chaweng and Lamai beach towns. Chaweng is the better beach, Lamai the better action. I preferred it to Phuket as a place for action, but that was likely due to the fact that my only experience with Phuket was just a year after the Boxing Day Tsunami, so Phuket had not yet come back fully. I can't speak to what Phuket is like nowadays.

Where to go to in Thailand for mongering if not Pattaya?

You can find P4P companions almost everywhere in Thailand, but the second easiest place (after Pattaya) will be Bangkok without any doubt.

Chiang Mai is also a possible destination, but reports are inconsistent: some say it is good, other say it is terrible. Personally I had no problem finding someone, but the choice is more restricted and not as nicely "ghetto-ed" in a few areas as it is in Bangkok.

Patong-Tower vicinity.

After reading about patong-tower here on ISG, I decided to book and stay here for 3 days on this trip.

The property is decent and about 5 minutes walk away to Bangla Road. There are a few restaurants (2 cheap and authentic places) right next to the tower. I recommend staying here. There's also a Hyatt place which was about the same price.

Zen Massage.

I made a short list of spots to hit after checking in. First up was Zen massage on the street continuing after Bangla away from the beach. The massage itself was great (450 THB for 90 minutes thai massage) but didn't get offered any extras. Also there was only 1 cute girl but with a female mustache which was almost showing (that freaked me out).

Katherine's.

We entered the room, she washed me off and the usual stuff. The session since we entered the room with 2 short showers and boom boom took 65 minutes. She performed well. Bhangla at Night

After returning, I grabbed dinner at about 7 pm and went back to the hotel. And wanted to catch up on some sleep before heading out. I woke up at 1 am, got some work stuff done and was in Bangla at about 2:30 am. The place was alive with tons of FLs on the street. A good number of them were decent lookers. There were a ton of Ladyboys, so be careful. There was an internet article on how to spot them, but I think asking the girl straight up is the way to go.

I went to the white room at first. They had an open bar with first drink purchase and free refills. The drink (Vodka+Mixer) was 200 thb. I downed 2 of those back to back, the second and subsequent drinks were free. Although the club itself is very nice with really good acoustics, I didn't see any FLs there. There were some European girls and a ton of dudes. It seemed like a Vegas night club. I came out and walked to the other end of Bangla and decided to check out Tai Pan.

Tai Pan

Tai Pan was packed at 3 am. The place was thumping with the usual dance music. As soon as I entered I saw the girls near the door and thought, "Shit! There's no way I am letting any of these touch my dick". They were really out of shape and ugly looking. The dancers were all fine looking. I grabbed a drink and decided to walk towards the dance floor. This is where I saw a bunch of pretty FLs grinding away with old to really old white mongers. I give a big thumbs up for Tai Pan for this reason. You have booze, great dance music in a dark-ish room which a lot of FLs and the bar girls. Except for food, there's not really anything missing. I stayed there for the next 2 hours or so. I liked one FL and one dancer but both were taken before I was able to approach them.

On the walk back to the hotel, the street was relatively thinned out of FLs. Overall for a half day after a long flight to get there, Phuket was surprisingly easy to navigate to have a good time. I will continue the report tomorrow for day 2. If any of you guys are here now and like to explore together, please DM me.

Yeah the prices are a bit higher on the islands but worth the visit. Yai is less touristy but you can find taxi / scooter but chose a good one less danger on the roads!

Possible to get boats on the islands also to go around the bay.

Go to Ao Po pier and rent a long tail in suitable size, we paid 4000 bht two years ago and we could easily been 6 people.

This way you can tell the driver what you want to do during the day and you are not in the hands of the tour guide.

Bring beer and girls and have a nice day out.

Or go to Bang Rong pier and take speedboat to Koh Yao Yai or Koh Yao Noi, rent scooter there and see the Island. Not been to Yai but I guess there is scooters for rent close to pier there also.

Not sure if this is usual range? Any advise what should be going price for CIS and russians would be. ? Will try the place mentioned by alex j though not ver hopefull based on the reports so far on russian scene in phuket.
