I am planing my first trip to phuket in October and was wondering if any of you have experience with the Gig hotel?

It looks nice and the rates in the low season are very reasanable.

Any info is appreciated?

Any massage shop will be good for this. It would be unusual if it did not. Remember the girls are free to do what they want out of working hours. If the girls wear a traditional uniform and are real massues they still are women and like.. a little extra money and a little pleasure.. I have had some luck in Bangkok with regular Thai girls staying with me for no charge. I am not charming but I do treat them well. What I really like about this is that such girls tend to give you the best GFE.

I don't drink much and I got some excellent girls, and kept them for a few days. It works at far more reasonable too. No bar fines and no ladydrinks. Etc etc. Just ask to meet her after work. Many girls are discreet. She might want to go out for a meal first. Spending 300 baht on a good meal is a treat for her and she will appreciate it.

Rawai has a group of bars called laguna something. There are several bars in a big square area on both sides of a short street. I went there a couple of times too early, around 7 pm and there was very few people there, no customers and few women. I went back last night around 930 pm and it was quite a bit different. It got better as the night went on, more customers and more bar girls. Many of the bar girls here are attractive, much more so then the ones at Chalong pier. I talked to a couple of 27 year olds and one 25 year old, all were attractive, maybe 7 on scale to 10.

I asked one about price. She said 700 thb barfine or I could wait until 2 am and no barfine. She wanted 2000 thb for overnight. I might could have talked her down on price. At 2 different bars I paid 350 thb for a beer and a lady drink. At one bar I paid 90 thb for a coke. I don't know if barfine is the same at all the bars. There didn't seem to be a place for short time except back to hotel.

I don't really like this kind of setup for bars. I drink in one bar and girls from surrounding bars see me so I feel kind of self conscious leaving to sit at another bar 20 feet away. Still if you are in this area and want an attractive women this seems a good option.

I have stayed at hemingway's silk many times. It has an excellent rooftop bar and rooftop swimming pool, the rooms, etc are very good. Just book for two people. If you want to keep a girl for a few days it is excellent. Essentially the hotel is in the line of bangla road going away from the beach. The muay thai and Jung ceylon is also very close. It is in a small and quiet street. Also across the street (20 m to the left) is a good sports bar without girls, so you can have a safe meeting place.

I was staying at the Sleep With Me hotel in Patong from June 30th to July 4th. My first time in Thailand and I was not traveling alone. I brought a female Chinese friend with me for company. I did read the reports here and couple of other forms to narrow down on the list of hotel that I might like to stay. Most of the four star hotels that are in the walking distance of Bangla road are not guest friendly. I emailed every hotel that I shortlisted to know their guest policy.

Why don't you rent a very nice appartment at the Patong tower? Wonderful location, GF and everything you need 5 mn walking around.

Pattaya is the place if you want cheap sex with lots of options. There are plenty of bars and gogos, more then you could hope to visit or explore. The price is cheaper in Pattaya then Bangkok. Getting around is going to be easier in pattaya if you are new, unless you just pay a taxi in bkk. Bangkok has more markets if you like that sort of thing and more temples. But pattaya has jomtien beach and a temple and plenty of street food.

The 2 cities are close enough that you could do both though.

Phuket is out if you are price shopping, but in if you like beaches and water stuff. Though you are picking the rainy season. So I would say phuket is better a no go.

Nap Patong. Joiner fee of 1500 Bhat / Person / Day.

Royal Paradise Joiner fee of 1000 Bhat / Person / Day (Another punter in another form indicated that he was able to bring girls back without any charges though was informed of the same.

Guest policy both over the phone and email. Will verify this in person during my trip).

The Marina Phuket Hotel 1000 Bhat / Person / Day.

The KEE Resort & Spa Patong - 1000 Bhat / Person / Day.

The Gig Hotel No response.

Are Mar resorts Based on reports from forum members I wanted to book are Mar but my research indicate that they charge 500 Bhat / visitor / night (2018 Report). I did not bother to email them since by this time I already decided where I am staying.

Also, if you are booking a hotel in Phuket book it as early as possible for the best rate. None of the hotel listed here offers special or last minute deals.
