I was last in Phuket in March 2020. IMHO, there were more hot girls along Bangla road than Bangkok, Krabi, or Samui. The north side of Bangla road open air dance bars had many appealing girls as did some of the bars along Soi Sea Dragon. The south side of Bangla was less appealing to me. I didn't go in any of the clubs (eg. Illuzion). The freelancers along Bangla road were similar to the ones found along Sukhumvit and Soi 4, both female and lady boy, perhaps a few more appealing girls on Bangla Road. The girls outside the massage places near Bangla road looked similar to the ones you see in other parts of Thailand. This was all just a few days pre-COVID-19, so it's meaningless for right now.

Right now I have one contact in Phuket, she now lives on the east side of the island so she doesn't see Patong on a daily basis. Several weeks ago she made a walking video at sunset in the Patong beach area; the video started south of the police box and then walked north and then east on Bangla. There simply weren't enough people around to make a judgement of the quality of the available girls. Yesterday she said that a few more people are now in Phuket but not much different than before. Next time she goes to Bangla Road area she is going to make another video so I can see the current situation. I really don't expect there will be enough people to make a judgement on girl quality.

I'm also thinking about going to the Phuket quarantine, most likely about October or November. I'm giving some time for businesses to restart and (hopefully) more girls to return to the island.

Agree you and I wouldn't but some new guys might. The 2 examples I gave are guys we travel with and see the girls they like so we trust their judgment. The Brazil guy we have met up in Germany FKK clubs many times. The Europe guy I spent 2 weeks with him in Jakarta.

Phuket information is actually VERY relevant right now since some of us, including myself, are considering returning to the Phuket sandbox in July rather than having to quarantine in Bangkok or Pattaya. So if Danny makes a post that the girls are ugly then I am hoping his information is recent and first hand. Not just a guess of how it is.

Not sure I personally would ever venture forth on a single members post. Maybe a visit to a massage shop but halfway round the world, umm?. For starters his idea of fun, which situations and what kind of women turn him on might well be different from mine and as you say there might be a credibility issue as to the accuracy of the source. So I get it, you need confirmation. Makes sense.

My buddy in Germany bought tickets to go to Brazil based solely on his information and found the girls not to his liking at all. Then he finds out on his return the guy pumping Brazil was last there 8 years before! Another is I met a guy who pumped up a little known hobby country in Europe. I thought OK maybe I'll give it a try. Luckily one of the guys I met in Thailand is from there and told me all those clubs this guy was pumping up had closed years ago!

So yes if a guy posts girls are hot or girls are not hot hopefully it's based on a recent trip! This is why I ask when a person was last there when the information is not consistent with what I know or heard or if I'm searching for new relevant information.

I could not agree with you more on the relevancy of up to date posts and the value of on the scene reportage especially post Covid on the scene reportage, but your 1st example of Brazil is a bad choice to make the point on several counts. I would suggest that you use any other country for an example other than Brazil because A) Brazil is a very popular destination and there are plenty of up to date trip reports in the SP & RJ Brazil forums and B) although Brazil aficionados tend to disagree on appropriate prices to pay (what a surprise) and tastes can widely vary with some preferring silly cones and large butts while others like myself preferring the thin, natural look; I don't think you will find very many punters thinking Brazilian girls are not attractive and or great in bed because they are very attractive and great in bed. 555.

Have fun in Phuket. I will look forward to reading your posts. IMHO, Phuket pre-Covid was best when I brought my own girl. I cannot imagine it being better as a sand box. That is another reason, in addition to all the smokin' hot Brazilian girls, why I am going back to Brazil in October for a 2nd helping and postponing my return to LOS until March / April 2022.
