Day 1.

Landed at HKT on the 7th October around 12 noon and was greeted by the haze. Took a taxi from the terminal and headed to my hotel in Patong.

Journey was around 1 hour or so, didn't really keep track of time as I was dozing off.

Decided to stay at the see&and hotel due to its close proximity to Soi Bangla and girl friendly. (About 50 m?

Checked in and unpacked a bit before heading out for some food and errands.

Headed over to Soi Bangla at 10 pm, and went to the agogo clubs to check things out. Among them, Suzy Wong still has the best line up IMO.

I have a question for the Phuket expats or regulars, what are the possibilities in terms of finding a secluded beach for some action under the starry nights, its on my bucket list. I'll be in Phuket area for 11 days in April / June next year and I'm hoping if somebody who has "been there done that" to provide some insight. I don't mind finding a hotel on one of islands and or surrounding areas. Any info is much appreciated.

I got some experience from Phuket since a couple of visits. Never tried Christines in Patong since most reports I have read is negative.

There is a place in Phuket Town called Katherine's, it is not a soapy but you can have body 2 body if you like.

You chose girl from cards instead of fishbowl. I had two girls on my visit, the last two there was.

Still they were the two best looking girls I had in Thailand. At my visit there was some kind of special price between 4 pm - 6 pm, think I paid 4-4500 something. It was more than a year ago so not sure if they still have this offer. Very nice rooms, do search and have a look on both girls and rooms.

Do not take taxi directly to this place as the driver will try to get commission which in the end you will pay.

There is also a place nearby called Sky Massage, this is a fishbowl. I think it is mostly Thai men there and not widely known to us farangs.

I am coming back to Puket (Patong) next month (yea! For my second trip. It will only be for 3 nights this time, arriving on a Saturday and leaving for Pattaya early the next Tuesday. On my first visit I pretty much stuck to Bangla road, ending up with 2 bar girls and 3 FLers. I want more variety this time, and would like to visit a body slide place (Christin's, I guess) and to again. But this time successfully. Try a disco for FLers.

Last time I did try the X Club on Bangla and I was not impressed. However, I am terrible in discos, and my lack of being impressed was that there were no obvious FLers there who might have had any interest in an older man, and not with the quality of the club. So, co can someone who has had luck at these places, to include Hollywood and Illuzion, explain how the process works at these places so I can increase my odds?

Also, any other recommendations for massage places would be welcomed. I did do a massage last time that I picked out at random and felt was fairly legit, and was a little surprised that extras were possible. I did a HJ, but the woman was not especially attractive and I decline anything more. So please limits recommendations to places with at least a few young, at least semi-attractive ladies under 130 pounds in weight and 30" in waist. My understanding is there are several places on Soi Kepsab that might fit the bill, in addition to Christin's.

Why Karon beech, might I ask? I have been there in distant past for a quiet beech with girlfriend, and nice white sand, but I think there are better places to go in Thailand for beautiful nature, e. G. Krabi or Phi Phi or Koh Lipe (sounds like leep-bay) or Adang, and better places to go for something happening like Patong beech, and better places to go for mongering. So what is the big attraction? Do you take a girl? My girlfriend would prefer Patong with more action and shopping or a very secluded paradise like Lipe and Adang.

My Phuket days are pretty much over, although I still prefer it to Samui. Samui is far too boring for me. Samui can be very beautiful on the beech from Feb to March but you really have to be a lover of just being at the beech, otherwise it's pointless and costly to get to.

Karon Beach is kind of middle of the road, not the most beautiful place and not the most beautiful girls available. As a result it may be lower priced. In the past I always stayed in a cheap hotel with decent services away from the beach, but decided to stay on the beach this time at a reasonable price. I visited Patong once and didn't like it. It kind of reminded me of Pattaya where I went to last year and will likely never return to. There are some expensive resorts near Karon including a Club Med. I am going mainly to relax and possibly test some of the local color. I will do my heavy mongering in BKK for five days. The ocean seemed clean to me, the beach is nice and long and the surf was always decent. It suits me.

I was at Karon Beach last Nov and hoping it will be just as nice in a couple of weeks when I visit Phuket Island again.

Karon reminded me of the best Hawaii has to offer.

Even though this is the Phuket-Patong thread, I thought I would offer some info on Karon Beach, which is a short 20 minutes away from Patong. I was at a Conference in Phuket for a few days at the beginning of September. We were housed at the Conference venue at the Movenpick Karon Beach.

Firstly Karon is only about 20 minutes tuk-tuk ride from Patong. The beach is nice and clean and the locals here not pushy at all to sell their wares. Food is cheap, nice and fresh. The locals speak broken English but many are Thai speaking only. Many from Myanmar working here as cooks and waiters.

Karon Main street starts from the main round-a-about. The bars here only become "happening" after 9 pm daily and closes between 3 am to 4 am. The girls are average looking as most of the lookers are in Patong. They are also slightly older selection in Karon. However they are very GFE and friendly. Prices for BF are standard Bht300. LT is Bht2 k and ST is Bht1 k (I have negotiated lower prices but just topped up to the same figure as tips). Drinks are cheap, beers at Bht100 apiece. Ladies drinks (LD) are between Bht130-150 apiece and they are not pushy wanting the LDs.

A nice place (highly recommended) with a good live band playing up to 4 am is Sutin bar, Opposite Aussie Bar, on the Main Street. Girls are very friendly and Mamasan is very polite and protective.

Other than this the ladies bars are on a strip at Aussie Bar and opposite via a sidewalk. There is also a nice Irish Bar (can't remember the name). The good thing about visiting this Irish bar is right opposite the place there is a massage place with ladies calling out freely to potential clients. Though I did not partake, I do believe everything is on the menu.

Also try the lobsters and fresh fish / prawns / cockles etc in the many seafood restaurants on the main street, very reasonably priced.

One drawback if you were to want to get to Patong the charge is Bht400 one way on the Tuk-tuk!

All in a great laid back place to hang out for a few days.

Spent a few days in Patong last week and here's my input:

Stayed in Patong Garden Bay resort in a deluxe room with a balcony and location was perfect: the hotel gives right on the beach and is walking distance (no more than 5 min.

To Bangla road) and no joiner fees: I even brought two bar girls one night and no questions asked. For security reasons, they nonetheless keep the IDs -which is good for us but.

They don't call you when giving back the ID to the leaving visitor (Spent two days with a nice MP girl found on Soi Kepsab. Soi Kepbsab remains the Soi for massage parlours. Went into Cristine's one early evening and did not much appreciate.

The manager's welcome. He was at a table with another guy and invited me to join them. The fish bowl is right in front of you with at least some 30 girls and the guy was.

Pushy. I would have much appreciated if he asked me if I want to buy a drink (there's a bar 2 metres behind us) but immediately announce 3300 THB for 1 h15 min!

Steep for Patong and I asked a few questions about the services and facilities (bathtub etc.) but he was not at all interested in replying. I stood up and left. The girls seemed.

To be quite average but I'm sure some gems are in the lot. It just is difficult to figure out since you have some 30 girls grinning and waiving at you.

As for the Gogo's, Suzy Wong remains the best: in terms of the show the girls put up and the most attractive dancers are definitely there. But the price is steep! They have.

The most expensive lady drinks, bar fine is at 1000 THB and 3000 THB the girl!! I was thus going there just to heat up before hitting the bars and discos.

I heard of a Gogo with an entry fee (in Soi Easy: "Secret" which apparently wants to considered as high end but was unable to locate it nor did I find Soi Easy.

Exotica Gogo pulls up another kind of show: the girls are removing strings to which needles are attached from their pussy and one of them even delivered a gold fish in a bowl and.

The fish was alive!!

The most pleasant encounters I had remains the freelancers actually. But don't make the mistake I made: do not stay in one place: hop in between Tai Pan, Illuzion and Hollywood.

And why not Tiger. Also, avoid the gogos in the night club. I fell for one of them one night and when she removed her wig and make up. Well, a different story.

If one would like to make friends, the girls in Kangaroo are super friendly and surprisingly, you cannot bar fine them. Maybe they are friendly just to keep you playing those bar.

All in all, I had a very good time. Nevertheless, I wasn't comfortable the more we went into the night: too many foreigners completely wasted, group of athletic youngsters.

Interesting topic. About 3 years ago, I did massive research on this theme: can you get HIV from receiving a BJ? The short answer is, no. From the extensive research I carried out, there has not been one documented case of someone catching HIV by getting a BJ. However, there has been plenty of cases of someone getting HIB by GIVING a BJ. That being said, you can definitely get other STDs via receiving a BJ. But at least you won't die from it.

Easiest way is to break away from the family for 1.5 hours and hit Christin's massage. Huge soapie place, was 3000 baht last time. Lots of hot girls. Not terribly far from Hard Rock.
