Phuket Reports

I have been to Phuket a couple times, always with my wife though, and so mainly sneak away for a quick MP experience. Some great experiences, others not so great. Problem is that I need to quickly get away and get back usually, so no time to really shop around. Wondering if anyone has some "hotspots" they would suggest for someone in my position. We will stay in Patong, but go to different beaches in other areas, Surin, Kata, Karon, etc. So open to all suggestions! Thanks!

To me that is a big draw to the LOS. My first time there I arrived in Bangkok at 1:30 am with no hotel reservation. I knew I wanted to stay near the Nana district so I got the taxi to drop me there. So I am walking up and down the street in the middle of the night looking for a room and I have never felt safer, especially not in LA where I have lived for 30 years. The tourist industry is the #1 industry so there is no way the government will let things get out of control. If the cops see the locals even looking funny at you they will beat them within an inch of their lives.

That said, I'm sure there are certain parts of any city where it is not a good idea to be if you are just visiting, but that's not where we want to be anyhow. Relax, feel safe and enjoy your time there.

Going to Phuket for some diving. Obviously going to be doing some mongering while there. But going to be alone. Haven't been to Phuket before. Is it safe to monger alone? Anybody going to be there around the 15th to 21st of March? I'm thinking about staying at the La De Bua. Apparently girl friendly and no joiner fee's.

Any reports guys?

I've been there alone twice and I'm going back soon. No need to worry about your safety. I've always felt safe there. Just be careful that the girls don't put anything into your drinks. I've heard too many bad stories about that. I'd never have a drink with them in my room.

Is there a thermae equivalent in Phuket? Or is the closest thing Tiger disco? Basically interested in FLs in a relatively quiet environment without LBs mixed in.

Funny how experiences can be different) Gee! The Russian girls I saw with guys were great. I looked for EE girls whilst there. Checked out the usual places recommeded like Banana Disco, Hollywood, Tiger etc but found not one. Wow! Then I read how the Tuk Tuk and Taxi drivers had done a road blockage protest in February this year because of the Russian massage parlours around town, and the police went around and busted them.

Thailand is an international tourist destination and some international girls work there. Big deal. You go to any other International city and theres International girls. The more Variety the better. And before you start lecturing me about "go to Russian for Russians", where I come from theres many many Thai girls working there and some Russians, and Taxi drivers and Police don't hassle either of them. Went to Tger, the bar down the far left corner, meet a great Thai girl. As we left the heavens opened and by the time we got to the top of Bangla Road, the top road was flooded half a foot. Took of my shoes, rolled up my pants and carried my girl on my back across the road and 50 metres to my hotel. By the time we got there it was 2 foot water and the first floor of the hotel was flooded. We were both absolutely skin dredged and rolled in and upstairs. She was a good sort and just laughed about it. We watched from upstairs as the road flooded even more and people scrambled to move their motor bikes. A memorable night)

Every time a tuk tuk driver asked me if I wanted a lift, I said could you take me to any Russian girls, to which they had no answer, I questioned why they protested over them? They just started to pretend to not speak English) I also read how in May this year the Police went and busted clubs Banana Disco, Hollywood, Tiger and even Seduction. They even went to la Amour and Mon Rouge because there was apparently topless Russians. LOL. That is startling. What about all the Thai ping pong ball shows. The Police seem fixated on busting Russians. I checked out La Amour and Mon Rouge but its all to controlled. They tell you where to sit and you can't go to the bar and have to use the waitress, and its overpriced, and the girls are programmed etc. On my last night I discovered Paradise club, and my view is regards Russian girls, all roads lead to Paradise club. Its up the Alley beside Mon Rouge. Its more relaxed and friendly. Free entry but drinks are pricey but its not so pushy. All is available. Girls are ok to ). Whilst there 8 police walked in and waited for 10 minutes. Odd? What are they playing at. It appears there under the control of the tuk tuk drivers. Oh, forgot to upload photos from the time I was here at Boots & Saddle Bar. Patong. Hope to see you there in April 2014. This is when they have the Water Festival. You can't miss this. Boots & Saddle is right on the main road and best of all the toliets are very clean. The regulars who come here are from everywhere. Auzzie, Germany, Norway, Belgium, France, Spain, UK, US, Japan, China, Dubai, Kuwait, Sweden, Switzerland, I mean everywhere. As Toby Keith sings it;"I Love This Bar"

Boots & Saddle Bar in Patong Beach, Phuket is opposite C&N Hotel on Bangla Road. I came with friends from Australia. We had a wonderful experience. The staff is honest, the drinks are very strong, the music is off the hook. There are about 20+ beautiful ladies. Age ranging between 19. 38 years old. The best part is the owner is a foreigner. What makes this an advantage is that they have to comply with all Thai laws. What this means, the Thai owners don't. Example. One of my friends got ripped off at his hotel by a lady at a Thai owned bar. He went back to the bar, the Thai owner only said sorry and too bad. Whereas, Boots & Saddle Bar have to keep copies of all the ladies and maintain their medical updated. So, having a foreigner owner, they must keep all things honest and above board. Once I found this place, I was able to keep a tab. Get rides to and from the airport or hotel. They directed me to honest taxi people, helped me out when I lost my credit card. They were their when I got in a motorbike accident the the motorbike rental place tried to rip me off, etc. What I saw in the 3 weeks in Patong and going bar hopping, Boots & Saddle is the best.

Despite the advice of my friend Netty Bumpo not to waste time and money on massage places in Phuket I had to seek shelter from the heat after an all morning motorcycle ride. I went to a place on Thanon Rathutit, just across Rosco's bar, you walk against traffic on this one way street, turning left from Sawadirak Road. I picked a lady in a traditional long-skirt Thai dress with a pretty good size / enormous rack, maybe 40 years old, nice smile and friendly attitude, otherwise slim. 200 TBH, oil massage. No negotiation upfront for extras, etc. She took me upstairs, closed a curtain around a massage bed, and, surprise surprise, when she came back she only had very short swim trunks on, and a sport bra plus t-shirt. To make a nice and long story short: After the back massage she got herself freed out of the rest of the garments and we had a great time, great long DFK, BBBJ, FS. Her body was just amazing. 1200 for her, 200 for the establishment. Nice.
