Hi All, Are there SWs in Rawai? Where do you find them in Rawai and what are the prices? In Pattaya, I took girls for 1000-1500 Bhat for STs and 2000-2500 Bhat for LTs. Are these prices comparable in Rawai?

Has anyone stayed at Selinas or Stay wellbeing in rawai? Are either monger friendly and good locations?

Selinas is way better for your needs than Stay.

Selinas is monger friendly, you can pretty much walk in and out at night, plus it is located near to naughty massage directly across the road, and 200 m away in Soi Saiyuan.

It is 1-2 km down the road to the bars, Laguna complex and Club Zhu nightclub towards the beach.

And 1-2 km down Soi Saiyuan to beer bar complexes of Bank, Gilbis and Banana, with many a bar and massage place on the way to there.

A little bit further at 3-4 km down Soi Saiyuan you hit Ole, Stumble INN, BoomPuy bar setups and others all in a cluster.

Stay is an upmarket pretty much self contained resort setup, I would call it monger tolerant, not friendly.

It would be OK if you are bringing one with you for your entire stay, and maybe if you take the occasional one back.

But if you are hard core punting, a new one every day, are two a day like TF girls and bar girls at night, then don't stay there.

Also, whilst it's not that far to the punting places, it is tucked away in a hard to get to secluded out of the away area.

Yesterday my ride from my hotel in Patong to the airport with InDrive was only 438 baht. Thanks to this forum because I wasn't aware of this application before. On comparison, Bolt was like 780 b and Grab similar / bit more.

Yes, InDrive is the cheapest, it is also the least commercial, as it is pretty much a local option trying to expand from its Thai base.

It's coverage is good in the south of Phuket (around Rawai and areas), around Phuket Town, and also in major spots like Patong and airport.

But, if you're in an out of the way spot around Phuket, always have GRAB available on your phone as well to use as a fallback.

I am planning to be in Phuket for a week in April and was hoping to get some recommendations / tips.

1) It seems that Bangla road is where all the action is in Phuket. Is that accurate or are there other / better options (like agencies or indies)?

2) Assuming 1) is true, I am looking to stay near Bangla road but ideally looking to stay at a "nice" place. Are there resorts that are mongering friendly? It doesn't appear to be the case based on the Phuket Hotel sub but would be helpful to know. Currently I am considering staying at the four points by Sheraton resort as that was mentioned in the sub to be guest friendly and it's close to Bangla.

If staying near Bangla is not necessary then I would love to stay somewhere nicer and still be able to monger when I want LOL. Best of both worlds to the extent there are spots like that in Phuket.

# 2- I only stay at nice resorts / hotels as well so understand. I stayed at the Sheraton couple months ago and I can tell you it is not monger friendly. The security guards are all over the front entrance monitoring everyone in and out. Taking their jobs much too seriously. You will likely have a problem taking a gogo girl from Bangla there at night even if she doesn't mind the walk. I was able to get one freelancer I met online into the hotel just because I set it up before arrival, and told desk my fiancé would be joining me later. Even had her name and ID card photo. The night I went to Bangla I just rented a ST hotel room two blocks off bangla knowing I'd be feasting on gogo. Actually I started early and took two to same hotel that night. But I didn't want hassle of trying to sneak them through Sheraton. I'm shocked someone else said the Sheraton was monger friendly, maybe they're more skilled than me, but it was not my experience.

I had the same questions and chose to stay in Rawai, does not have the craziness of Bangla but still has plenty of bars and freelancers. I will venture over to Bangla once or twice during my stay. But still have the solitude of a beach view villa.
