Since my recent little story it has been a while, so here comes another one. I tried to get a better overview about the massage places in town and found a couple besides the ones I had mentioned earlier.

A sign on the road saying Thai massage pointed me to the Sinthavee hotel. The massage parlor is a combination of pool billard and massage, and they have a fishbowl with about 15 not so bad looking girls. Again, knitting and watching TV seem to be a favorite. The ladies did not have uniforms. As I learned in the meantime, this signals something. The girls in uniform typically draw the line at a handjob. Maybe some might even do BJ, but rather not. HJ typically goes for 300 (well they might be 500 at the beginning of the negotiation). Well, for my 2 visits in this place the girls would go all the way to boom-boom.

The massage fee for the hotel is 200/hour (that's right, or should I rather say short term room rent) and then the lady of your choice will guide you to one of the many wooden-walled massage rooms with folding doors. Still small and certainly far away from luxurious, the are at least modestly clean and well lit. Too much air-con can be a problem over the course of an hour.

First time I decided to go with M, originally from Isaan with a massage background in BKK. She is a tall girl and not skinny, but far from fat. Nice pairs. Her english is reasonable, and she is a nice girl actually. She would ask 1500 for boom boom which I was able to negotiate down to 1000 (BUT: that was very hard work, and I was in a good mood and so was she so it worked out. Not sure if she would do it again). After we were done with the business part of it, the rest was enjoyable as it should B.

M seemed to go into it further than you would expect, partly because she is 27 already and accepts her job meanwhile and maybe also because we simply got along well with each other. Does not happen with every girl, for me at least. On the second occasion there, I took a girl called be (seems they are into short names). I decided to go for a 500 BJ, which was delivered uneventfully.

As promised in my previous report, I tried out Rome place hotel, too. There, the girls are of the previously mentioned uniform type. Mine (sorry, I really forgot the name) took me to one of the rooms that contain 3 beds each, separated by a curtain. To her astonishment I swapped the routine and asked for the specials first. HJ only, 300 for that matter. The service was too slow and uninspired for my taste, but the massage afterwards made up for it. BTW, it seems the Mamasan had presented me with the Farang price the first time I showed up (400/90 min) and then apparently decided to upgrade me to senior status because of my frequent visits (albeit not buying the first couple of times). That resulted in 280 for 90 mins (I believe this seems to be the standard for locals in those hotel/uniform massage parlors whereas 400 is the std farang price).

One annoying thing happened. We where middle through the massage, when another lady brought in her client and put him down right to the next mattress. This might seem normal for a massage place, but given the number of rooms they have it was just odd.

With all those research results under my belt I still cruised Phuket town a little more and found that the Royal Phuket City Hotel is an upscale place that carries massage but I guess of the more non-erotic/Spa type. I did not try it as they advertise oil massage for 500, so I can not tell if there are extras to be negotiated. If you follow the road from the hotel to the east, BTW, you will find a massage place in one of the side streets to your left. That two ladies asked 300 for 1 hour and advertised a private room (well, what did they want to tell me with that?). Maybe I will try this some other time.

Next was the Metropol. Between the entrance and the bar is the "leisure club", and it looked promising with the tinted glass windows. Inside, however, I found a reception desk with 4 staff behind it and I was not sure whether I had mixed it up with the hotel lobby! But sure enough I was a the right place, and one of the ladies presented an english menue that started at 500. I decided against it and therefore do not know how they choose the ladies and in which fashion they come.

The Thavorn hotel (in Ratsada) does not have massage. There is this other bunker Whose name I miss at the moment with does have massage on the 3rd floor, but they were asking 400/2hours. Too long for me at the time. Will try next time and add more detail (location etc). It is not too far from Montri Road, anyway.

Going back to my place, I saw a sign talking about Thai massage in a "Mansion". You will find it by going south on Phuket Road, crossing Ong Sip Pai, then on your left. You follow the small Soi and after maybe 500m to your right there is something like a BB/guesthouse, and the fishbowl is more or less right in the lobby! 1 hour for 300, and they look definitely capable of some extras. Did not go for it, though.

Last but not least, I had some other excursions to Soi 11 in the last couple of days and I must say that for a quicky the price/service relation can't be beaten, but whuah the service level is really low. Maybe I was lucky with my first visit.

Was in Phuket, looking for just a HJ and I found a nice area with many providers. If you are walking away from Bangla road, towards Christine, keep going passed Christine. The first alley is for Tony's resort, the second takes you passed a Scandanavian restaurant and then to 8-10 massage places. The first place looked like it was mostly ladyboys but down the road on the left I found a ridiculously buxom girl named Sasy. Think 15 inch waist and 38DD guns. Fellow punters,

Would appreciate the lowdown on the following services in Kata:

1. Location of Soapy Massage or Fishbowl services and price.

2. Bars that have local SP, and nearby cheap hotel for quickie

3. Go-go bars with higher end talent

4. Good massage services with extras other than HJ (went to one last time on the road on the way to Karon/Patong-SP took me to another massage shop, and I tapped 3 SP on different occasions)

Truth is, I am taking my girl to Kata, and need some excursions while she is taking her nappies. If we can locate some higher end Go-go's in Kata, my girl might let me barfine a plaything.

I know Patong has many Go-gos, and Tiger Bar has local SP's. However, I won't have time to travel there and back, or my girl will know something is up (at night). Besides, in my experience Tiger Bar has reasonable talent, but the girl-guy ratio during High Season is poor (lots of good looking European guys taking higher end talent).

The Beach Wing is not big, only 6 rooms total. 2 with a seaview and 4 without a seaview. They also bought the hotel next door to the north, so add 2 more seaview rooms. In high season I never paid more than 2600 baht for the non-seaview rooms and or more than 4500 baht for the seaview rooms. This was with a 4 year history, so a first time stay may be slightly higher. Good luck!

Yes it's GF. I've always had good luck negotiating a good price in the Beach Wing. Very quiet, open entry without a lobby, directly on beach with morning coffee shop below directly on the beach.

Recently I went to explore the scene in Phuket town a little. I really was not into spending a lot so I checked out Phun Phon Soi 11 first. It was just after midday on a weekday, and the business was extremely slow. That means, not a single place on one of the many couches in the various brothels occupied. Nonetheless, the Pa/Mamasans tried to find a girl that was awake/not out shopping. The lady from the shop opposite the phonebooth was successful and presented me with a fine young chick from Isaan named Nan.

After leaving 500 Bhat with the boss, Nan and I made our way to her, well, cubicle. For those who haven't been to the place but have stayed in one of the lowcost backbacker hotels in Khao San road Bangkok, where there is only a thin wooden wall between you and your neighbour chicken and most of the time the wall does not go all the way up to the ceiling: reduce the size of the room by min. 50 percent and deteriorate the standard by another 25, then you know what to expect. Very very basic indeed.

Anyway, I was here to pop and not to stay overnight, so we started to undress. I made a trip to the shower first (not without taking my trousers/valuables with me), and after my return I found Nan sitting on the bed, wrapped in a towel. What the hell? Now it turns out that the deal is this: undress plus BJ means minus 200 Bhat (in your wallet). So total damage is 700 for the standard show, which in my case meant a very nice and senseful covered BJ (smoke in the local terms; probably could have gone for uncovered but this is not my thing anyway) and missionary afterwards. The girl is a sweet thing and she was giving me a reasonably nice time, pretty none-pro.

Later I went to check out some other opportunities and found myself in Rome Place Hotel. They do have a fishbowl massage parlour on their first floor (just run up the stairs and don't bother with the reception or anything), and the offer is 450 for 90 minutes (shorter/cheaper not available she said). The bowl has 2 windows, so make sure you give both of them a glance. What you will find is about 15 girls in yellow T's, and a handful of them were knitting along (no kidding). I decided not to test but will do so later for sure. The women were not stunners at all, maybe 3-5/10 but one or the other might get a chance on knitting a bit on me I guess. I have no idea yet how special services might look like/cost.

Then on to the Sea Pearl hotel. 90 mins of service there cost 2600, the fishbowl full with pretty nice girls, most of them smiling and posing when you arrive (as opposed to the Rome). No uniforms this time but sexy outfits. Attractive, but too expensive for my budget of the day. Just to complete that picture, I sailed on to the Grand Plaza massage, which you will find behind the Thavorn hotel (you make a left on the road coming from Robinson that has the motorcycle parking/foodstalls in front of the Robinson). The lobby/outside of the place needs some refurbishment, but the fishbowl again full with pretty girls. Some of them 8/10. Asking price there was 3000, and after showing my Eh?.face she came down to 2500. Mamasan would not go down more, and I decided to move on. These 2 places will see me again some day, too.

Meanwhile, after all that sightseeing I was ready for some action again so I zoomed back to the Phun Phon area. Someone in the forum had mentioned that other Sois had something, too, so I checked out 5, 7 and 9 before finally making a landing in 11 again. The previous ones did not present anything at all or maybe I was just driving by too quickly.

It was 5pm now and somehow it was even harder for them to find some available talent. Nan had gone to town and I ended up with Ning from Phuket (she claims, and that she is Muslim, too). Very very petite, cute face, 19y old, one recent child. The latter means her stomach skin still needs some ironing, but what the hell. Same story here, 500 plus 200 and we had a reasonable time. Would not repeat as opposed to Nan, though, mainly because of body looks and attitude. Not really bad, but too pro for a girl that age. Generally I find that sometimes the older girls are much easier to handle and getting a laugh from, especially when they have accepted what they are doing and have found peace with their job.

After those 2 afternoon pops I finished my day by hitting the Phuket herbal massage and Spa in Chalong. This is a non-erotic place and the lady gave me a very professional oil massage with no tricks for 500 Bhat. Very recommended.

All in all, I had spent 1900 for 2 pops and 1 extremely relaxing massage which made me a happy camper that day.
