Late on Sunday night, I received an SMS from AirAsia telling me that my flight details for Monday morning had changed. This was surprising to me for two reasons, the first being that AirAsia really isn’t known for going out of their way to provide customers with up-to-date information. Typically, ‘AirDelaysia’ has a pretty hands-off approach toward customer service. The second reason this SMS was surprising to me was that I really couldn’t recall booking a flight for Monday morning at all. Where the hell was I going?!

Sure enough, logging onto the AirAsia site, I found that I had a flight from Bangkok to Phuket for Monday morning at 7:00am, returning Saturday. Looking at the purchase date (sometime in February), I tried to figure out exactly why I had thought to buy a ticket to Phuket for this week; I don’t particularly like Phuket. Then I stumbled across the reason:

460.00 THB.

That was the complete cost of my return flight. Presumably, in some drunken February night, I had received an AirAsia promotional email and decided that, for that price, I’d make myself like Phuket. After scouring this forum and others like it, I booked a room for two nights at the Summer Breeze in Patong and thought about other places to go during the 5-night mini-vacation.

Patong Day 1

The driver from Summer Breeze picks me up in Phuket and brings me to Patong by about 10:00. I meet up with a friend for lunch and a couple of beers and then read a book and drank on the beach until around 5:00. After dinner, I readied myself for the night (in other words, I continued to drink and smoke). By 7:00, it was time to check out the BJ bar on soi Bangla I had read about (apparently, the owner doesn’t want the location divulged publicly on any fora). When I arrive, only the mamasan, Sot, and cashier ware working, as the girls don’t arrive until 7:30 during low season. Sot explains the setup to me: 700B = 20 minute BJ, 1500B = one hour FS. She mentions that there wouldn’t be too many girls showing up tonight (Monday + low season = less girls), but that she, herself, was quite skilled. She definitely isn’t a looker (with a distinct girl-stache hovering menacingly above her lips), but as we all know, that can sometimes equate into mind-blowing sexperiences. I accepted her offer for the 20 minute BJ.

Upstairs into the sweltering furnace of love. Two mattresses on the left-had wall, an L-shaped couch on the right. No AC, but they’ll crank up some fans for you and it’s really not too bad, once you get down to the action. Sot was sort of pornstar-esque in her sucking technique: lots of eye-contact, moaning, twisting of wrists, and licking of lips, but not a whole lot of skill. Overall, she was a bit aggressive and fast for me; I prefer tender and sensuous nibbles, romantic carresses and passionate embraces from my cockgobblers. I guess I’m just a big old softie at heart.

I head over to soi Eric and beat some girls at Connect 4 for awhile until I’m too drunk to keep up with their logic anymore. Stumbled back to the Summer Breeze by 2am or so and into the warm folds of sleep.

Patong Day 2

Waking up with a blazing hangover, I tell myself that I’m going to take it easier today and not start drinking so early in the day. I’ll head down to the beach and relax and read and write and swim and generally be a responsible young man. I’ll get some serious introspective thinking done and perhaps get to bottom of any number of existential crises that I’ve been grappling with since my teen years.

Once outside, I see that it’s raining. Hard.

Into the first bar I see at the corner of Ratuthit and Bangla, I drink there from about 12-2, having a laugh with the girls and then I make my way down Bangla, trying to have a drink in every bar I pass. By 7:30, I’ve lost my beach towel, my book, and most of my dignity. I figure it’s time to head back to the BJ bar to sample the alternatives on display.

With a quick Gatorade in my system, I feel invigorated enough to try FS on for size with one of the cuties in the bar. I choose a smiling cutie by the name of Gik and she sits on the couch with me for awhile and discuss matters of little consequence. She’s really got a great smile and a nice playful attitude, so it’s up into the sweltering love furnace we go. The girl has got skills. Long and slow BJ until it’s time for the condom to come on. Early July I stayed in Kata Beach for about 1 week and here are a couple of impressions / info in case anyone finds it useful. Please dont be too critical, 1 post here.

The bar area is quite obvious, just north of club med on the main road, you cant miss it. It was very quiet throughout the week with a lot of the smaller bars completely empty of customers, so if you like privacy this might be for you. These smaller bars had about 2-3 girls. The Bazaar (bunch of larger bars) had about 6 girls per bar. The going rate was 300 BF, 1000 LT. Girls were more than happy to stay until about 5pm the next day when they would start their shift again. Not a single girl asked for more than 1000 Baht LT, they are desperate for customers. I was also never pressured for lady drinks etc.

That said the quality was not great, I suspect the better looking girls are in the busier areas of Patong or Bangkok, where they can charge higher prices. There are a few diamonds in the rough though and its worth having a look in the small bars but I did not see anything higher than a 7.

Also there are a few Ladyboys working inside a few bars so be careful. This was my first time to Thailand so although I was careful I had the impression that bars were 'safe', i.e. girls working inside bars were girls and freelancers outside might be ladyboys. After drinking a bit too much and walking back late I decided to have a final drink in a bar...Long story short: I'm usually pretty good at picking out the LB's but in this case I had my shield down and just missed it. After Bar fining him/her it wasn't until walking back to the hotel that I felt a 'pouch' when going for a playful touch. Needless to say I was a little shocked and cancelled the show. Newbie mistake of mine maybe to think girls working inside bars were all girls?

Finally as has already been mentioned here, check to see if the hotel is Girl Friendly, mine told me at check in "If you bring friend, it is extra 1000Bht'' I managed to sneak my girl in through a back entrance with the security guard asleep...

Just back from patong beach yesterday, its the rainy season but also a very fun place. Years ago the place was sex oriented while now has more fun/entertainment atmosphere. I took several day tour for photography etc.

I stayed at a place called "cheap rooms" near bangala rd cost 550bht for aircon/tv/minibar/girl-friendly room. Just run it on google and you will got it on the first hit.

I came to phuket from samui which lamai beach was heaven for sex but boring. Only sex tourist and dead atmosphere. Patong beach is lovely but if you fancy good loking ladies go to samui/lamai instead.

I got ladies from free to 500bt long time. How? Well just hunt them at shops and beach at daytime. Not bars etc.

I have a mix feeling because samui was boring with good quality and patong ladies doesn't rock but every falang got what he wants except myself. (maybee I was too busy to hit the scandinavian ladies.)

Flight to Bangkok with Bangkok air at 1700bht one way using travel agent.

I have many photos of the bars beach etc but not nude. Opss.

Phuket (Patang) . . . well it seems a bit hit and miss, so here is my thoughts on the last 24 hours:

- The weather is bloody terrible (rainy season)

Bars:

- had thought they would start to be active from 7.30 but sitting in one at 9.30 last night - very few people out drinking and waves of girls seemed to start arriving from 10pm. Bars were busy from 11pm-1am. This feels odd - why so late? As a friend put it, with the state of the Thai economy you would ahve thought they would be out as early as possible.

- Learn to play Connect 4 and Shut The Box. Many of the girls English is limited versus China (Shanghai bars) and Phils. Game playing seems to be the way forward but it is difficult to build a rapport (I am a bar kind of guy - chat, socialise, choose you girl, go home)

- Some of the bar girls are on salaries, say 10k BHT a month. This means that they will not bar fine for either a) more than one hour or b) only after 2am. It is still a 500BHT fine. I got caught out on this. Sensible thing seems to be to ask in adavnce.

- Very little pressure to go out - almost to the point of disinterest. At least to the point of not being sure if the girl will go.







[I was in Patong same time as you. I brought along a girl from pattaya and this seem to put a lot of the BGs noses out of joint. They all wanted to know which bar she was from and many tried to lure me away on trips to the toilet.
You have to watch yourself when buying LDs I got bills inexcess of 2000bt while playing those games.

Not sure about Tiger Inn, Ben X, but I have learned from others on this board to do two things:

1. Check directly with the hotel, about their policy regarding guests in the room (or joiner fees, as many call them). Better to just ask them directly than rely on someone else's experience, as rules can change, and a good idea to do so by e-mail and bring their answer along with you. Then if they say yes, you have it in writing if there is confusion later. If they say no, you can cancel and find one that is better for you.

2. In general, reserve for 2, not 1. Many places charge no more for 2, but if you do not reserve for 2, they may charge joiner fee, where they would not if you had reserved for 2 in advance (I know, this makes no sense if they don't charge more for 2...but they make the rules). I always do that and they never question me when I show up by myself.

Firstly, thank you to Senior Member specifically Brother Stew2 and Brother Sammon.

Both of you has give me great idea, where I had ammended my booking this morning by adding 1 more adult as a room's guest. But when the hotel agent did replied and request the name of second guest , I just named her as Mrs. Me, and they accept it :-)

Frankly, most hotels in Haadyai and Danok (my playing field) don't have this kind of policy, so that I didn't have any experience on this joiner fees problem before.

Anyway, thanks again to give me good advise. I feel proud and happy to be part of this cool community. Hopefully my Phuket trip will be one of the superb enjoyable moment :-)

Always book for 2 people anywhere. Usually the rate is the same. In bangkok some hotels have stipulation that 2 need to check in together. But I have gotten away with my days catch when I mentioned I booked for 2 people. They do not know if I have paid extra for that or not. in Manila they ask to register the guest. No extra charge. Just normal procedure. I have registered a new girl every day. Sometimes they hold the I.D card of the girl at the door.
In Phuket resorts they tend to charge you for extra person.
Send a e mail to the hotel with your questions and they reply within 24 hours.

It's the best reviewed girl friendly hotel I have found up to now. It's already there in my extensive list posted in Phuket Hotels thread.

Will surely pass by the Mai Thai Bar. Will be there in 23 days (first will be in Pattaya for 5 days).

Yes it's called the Savoey or smthg like that. It's a touristy place though (read: pricy) as per the reviews I have read. Cheaper options elsewhere.

In my opinion Dole 13, you won't have too much trouble finding any good seafood restaurants in Phuket. It's and island after all

You may also wish to consider Poppa Palace. Its about 8 mins from Bangla and 4 or 5 from the beach via a short cut. GF, pool on site, good food, clean with nice rooms and the staff are great. Mail Ann at the hotel and ask for a good deal, we've stayed there 3 times now and will be going back next Songkran.

I recently spent three weeks in Thailand. First 3 days in Bangkok, 2 weeks in Pattaya and one week in Phuket.

I spent the last week in Kata beach, Phuket. I stayed at the "Kata Sea Breeze". They wanted B1300 but managed to negotiate somewhat and ended up paying B900 with no breakfast. The hotel was very nice and quiet and girl-friendly, but one girl said they charged you for taking girls to room during high-season.

I was planning to se a girl I had seen on my last trip. We met once and fucked. I don't think I ever came that hard before. Best fuck on this trip. She then left, saying she would come back, but never did. She didn't even get any money. I saw her in her bar a few times, but stopped going as they were putting lady-drinks on my tab without my consent. She was working in a complex of several bars called "kata night club" I think. Her name was Ann.

There was several bars and many girls but almost no customers. Also many girls and ladyboys cruising around on motorbikes trying to pick up customers. The quality of the girls was not too good. There was this other bar I went to two nights. It was in another bar-complex next to "kata night club". Two girls were working, a 17-year old and a 18-year old. None of them went with customers (not that I would barfine a 17-year old of course). But they were stunning.

Next day a girl turned up that did go with customers. I barfined her and she was great. Next day I ended up fucking her bareback. Not a good idea, but it just happened.

The last two days was buddha-day and all bars were closed. But some were half-open, with no alchohol served.

I found a nice 27-year old in a bar. She was about a 5 or 6 but very nice and we were sightseeing around Kata and Karon.
