My first visit to Phuket. I was just wondering if you ahve any suggestions / contact details of any real good Escort agencies in Phuket? Travelling there on 9 May.

Also does anyone know if Phuket aracadia Hilton is girl friendly ?

If you read previous posts, the general impression is that things are picking up quite nicely. There are still plenty of girls around, though you may have to look a little harder than before, but the main centres are still rocking. Plus, the girls are hungrier due to low levels of tourists, so pricing is still very good.

However, if it really is an eye opening experience that you are providing, why think "either/or"? Why not do it all! There are cheap flights every day from Phuket to Bangkok (Thai-Orient, Noc Air, Air Asia), and direct flights from Phuket to Pattaya via Bangkok Airways. Spend some time in Phuket to help rebuild the local economy, and if not satisfied, head off to Pattaya and/or Bangkok! They all have different experiences to offer.

Thank you for all your info! I have a general question maybe someone can assist me with. I am taking my 2 nephews who are graduating from Tulane and Florida State university at the end of May(31-14 Jun). We are headed to South east Asia for a graduation trip. I have done Phuket and all of Thailand (Marine Corps and multiple returns as a civilian). I was there in Nov 2004 and everthing was awesome. However, with all that has transpired and with low season aproaching is phuket worth a visit this time of year or should we visit other parts of Thailand.

Some parts of the beach is still under renovation/reconstruction but the rest of the area is as before. Soi Bangla is rocking and the quality of girls are better than that found in Pattaya,imho. Soi Erc, Soi Seadragon, Tiger, Soi Katoey are as before. Taipan, Baya Bay should be a good place to hangout.

I would prefer a nice GF within walking distance of the action. I will be there May 22nd for a week if anyone would like to get together for a beer.

No, not GF Friendly. Should find hotels nearer to Soi Bangla..this is where most of the action will be found. Lots of Budget hotels around Soi Sansabai near to Soi Bangla.

I was in Phuket a month before the Tsunami. Unfortunately havent been there since.

Anyway ny the look of the posts and other amterials I have read seems everything is back to normal in Phuket. Except the amount of girls and quality is abit reduced.

Anyway maybe Pattaya would be a safer choice?

End of May is well into the low season. You will find many cheap rooms on offer. Which means you might as well not book in advance, but look around once on the ground instead.

First, thanks to the folks who responded to my earlier posts requesting the laydown on Phuket. My parents were visiting in Korea and since it was the off season and some great rates were available, decided to take them to Phuket for a week.

Initially decided to behave and as a result, did no research. After three days, couldn't take it anymore and sent out the call for help. Again, thanks to all who responded.

Managed to get out twice. I was staying on Kata Noi beach and decided to take a tuk tuk to Patong. Cost each way was 300 baht (around US 7.50). Just told the drivers I was looking for drinking and girls.

All were in the know and pointed out a place called Christines on the way to the entertainment district. The first night, after wandering around for a few hours, I went back to Christines.

Very nice setup. It's in a former Hotel and runs fishbowl style with the girls segregated by price. Started at 1800 baht and went up to 2300 baht, depending on age.

They had a good selection of girls and after talking to the lady whop met me at the door, decided on two of the 1800 baht ladies. Went up to the room and got down to business.

Total time allowed was 90 minutes and it was a great experience. THe rooms was large and about a third taken up by a whirlpool tub and shower. They both gave me a GREAT soapy (much better than Korea) and then we moved to the bed and got down to business. Recieved CBJ and CFS in multiple positions. Afterwards, received another great massage on the bed. Tipped each 200 baht and left. Total damage was US 100 and I left with a smile.

Only dissapointment was I really wanted BBBJ which wasn't available and EVERYONE tried to hit me up for a tip.

Second night I was out, stayed later. Was in the area where the road is blocked off for pedestrians and the tuk tuk drivers were having a big demonstration.

Went into one of the go go bars on a side street and had a few drink. One gal was absolutely gorgeous. She saw me giving her the eye and came over to sit. Bought her two drinks at 130 baht each and then she had to go dance.

While she was dancing, mommy came over and we started negotiating.

Price quoted for short time was 1500 baht plus 500 baht barfine. I got her down to 1000 baht plus the bar fine.

The girls name was "Dow" and she was about 4'11" and maybe 80 pounds. Very small breasts and a great ass. She changed and we left. Found a hotel near the strip and got a room for 400 baht.

Was probably one of the best experiences of my life. Totally willing to please. Started out with BBBJ and moved on to CFS in multiple positions. Finished all over her perky little tits.

Tipped her 200 baht and then took off back to the hotel. Only regret was I couldn't keep her for the night.

Have no idea whether or not I got ripped off by local standards, but based on what I'm used to paying in Korea, it was a real bargain. Will have to make a trip by myself in the next year or so.

Once again, thanks for the help. Sorry I don't have the names of the hotel or bar. Just kind of wandered in without paying a lot of attention to the details.

Nowadays if you like a good mixture of normal Tourist behaviour + a nightscene in Thailand, I would not recommend Pattaya but PHUKET!

The prices went steep down for lodging. I found myself a nice room away from the extensive tourist area. For only 500 Baht. Very clean, every comfort Bahtroom (shower) + toilet, Kingsize bed, terras, dressers, TV, AC + fan, so most Western comforts available.

When you add a 120 upto 200 Baht/day for a motobyke, you are off and free wherever you wanna go for a total of : 700 Thai/Baht !! I dont know any place right now where you can find this on a vacation trip.

a couple years ago i stayed at patong beach, patong villa hotel. i thought it was ok. but it didn’t have the relaxing beach atmosphere i was looking for. there are plenty of girls and things to do. but that’s not what i am always looking for. on my last visit i took a tuk-tuk to explore the southern beaches. kata is great but i also liked karon. i think karon is a great balance of relaxation and opportunities for fun. i stayed at the south sea resort for 1400 baht a night. high speed internet is available in some rooms for 500 or 600 baht. it’s a bit flakey and not worth it in my opinion. the hotel is ok. breakfast is pretty good. the hotel is girl friendly. there is still some clean up to be done across the street from the hotel. i imagine everything is nearing completion by now. i found the many open air bars at the north end of the beach to be great fun – the ones on the side streets close to little mermaid hotel, near the circle. hell the beach ain’t that big. you’ll find it. there are plenty of girls available there also for the number of men. i met a real sweetie in a bar at the south end of the beach. there are plenty of small not so brightly lit bars along thai na road. i had dinner at dino bar (diverse menu) which is at the southern end of the beach and karon café (good steaks) at the northern end. i recommend both places though i didn’t see any working girls there. i was looking for the anchor bar which is supposed to be on thai na road. i never found it. does anyone know if it still exists?

the girl in the photo is tar. this girl has a heart of gold. i wish i could have packed her up and taken her home with me. i found her in a bar along thai na road. i walked in. i sat next to her. we spoke for maybe a minute and then started fooling around right there in the bar. i took her back to my hotel for long time for 1000 baht. if you find yourself sitting next to her don’t hesitate to take her home. she’s worth it.

on my second day in phuket i went for an all day snorkeling trip. the cost was 1500 or 1600 baht. it included snorkeling at three beaches. stopping at two of the most beautiful beaches i have ever seen. drinks and snacks were provided for free throughout the day. flippers cost 50 baht. and a beach chair and umbrella at the final beach cost 150 baht. take 400 baht with you to pay for these things and a tip for the guide. it’s a great way to spend a day. if you have a tendency towards seasickness you may want to purchase some dramamine or something like it. you’ll spend a total 2 to 2.5 hours traveling by boat over the course of the day. i’ve included some beach shots. stops or photo ops included the phi phi islands, james bond island, shark bait island, some island with monkeys. and a little pale full of sand island where lunch was served. i wish the group i was with was more fun. i really wish i had met tar before this trip so i could have taken her.

i’m also including some shots from the bars at the north end of karon beach. they were all great fun and took good care of me. i didn’t take any of them home with me however.

And while I am a dog, not here with the wife. Brought my folks over for a holiday. Promised myself I would behave but things just look too good.

Hi Gas Can,

Kata is very quiet compared to Patong, or even to Karon(!). There is a small cluster of beer bars on Patak Rd West (beach rd.) just south of the intersection with Tai Na rd. A few more at the east end of Tai Na near Patak Rd East (main road to Patong / Chalong). There are a few inexpensive hotels nearby with 400 baht rooms for short or long time time. Masage parlours are a plenty, and may be another option.

Karon has a slightly better selection of bars, a cluster between the stadium and Luang Pho Chuan rd., more at the beach end of Patak Road East, near the circle.

Girls available at all, though quality and quantity is far lower than in Patong.

Better bet is to take the tuk tuk ride to Patong (100-200 baht depending on negotiating skills and time of day/night). Much more choice, both BG and FL's.
When will Phuket ever get a baht bus service like Pattaya?
