Great day with my new fav. Taxied to Paradise Beach and enjoyed good food and drinks at a restaurant with spectacular views. BTW highly suggest using the BOLT driver app. Its cheaper and more accurate than Grab. The price was 3 times less than Grab.

The Gogo scene on Bangla Road is overrated. Yes, it is crowded and noisy. However the energy from the dancers is low and walking around feels like a sauna. IMO the dancers are average-looking but you may encounter a few stunners. The side streets are littered with freelancers that you can bargain to 1000 bhat.

My current and old fav are both available for 12 to 13 hours at 4000 baht. Politely declined as require time to rest up for BKK on Monday but am willing to do 3 hours with 2 shots from my old fav at 2000 baht.

Overall Phuket was a good experience due to the ease of meeting freelancers with many willing to provide cost-efficient pricing. LOL the rules of supply and demand at its finest!

Is there a good area to base myself if I wanted to go the Airbnb route that's still convenient to get back and forth from Bangla? I do like going to the bars but don't pull that often from them. I more prefer soapy massage joints and the likes during the daytime and pulling at night if someone really catches my eye.

All the nearby small hotels on Soi Sansabai (across from Soi Bangla) are joiner friendly.

I'm finally getting a chance to take an extended trip and Phuket is my intended location. I'm beginning my research and trying to figure out my best option for where to stay. Hotels seem to be tricky and I will email to find out about joiner rules, but was wondering if anyone has recommendations. However, I was also considering going the Airbnb route. I was just wondering if anyone has any experiences with this? I'm planning on a 2-3 week stay and relatively close to Bangla. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated and I look forward to getting some new FR on here. I'll also be interested in meeting up with any fellow travelers. Cheers.
