I admire stories like this!! I've been to Phuket 4 x and hope to return in July.

Out of curiosity, where was the girl from? And was she just traveling?

She was from Singapore, travelling solo, enjoying Phuket's natural beauty. We had good conversation about world economy, southeast Asian country's culture, books music etc. Just a regular person not WG. Its just that our frequency matched and we went along. I have a trip booked to Karon beach in a few months time. Can anyone provide information regarding paperwork requirements for covid. Is it still necessary to stay in certain hotels, have special covid insurance etc?

Just got back last week from Karon Beach, it was dead / Ghost town.

Best to check the Thai Government website, as the rules have changed a lot. From what I understand, you need to apply for a Thai Pass unless you are a Thai National, and you need insurance, unless you are a Thai National. You will need to prove your vaccination status. You can stay anywhere.

They charged 2000 THB for 60-75 min. The girl asked 1000 THB for FS. I had gone there twice. Once during evening around 6 PM, it was crowded and only two girls were available; both of them were mid 30's and average but service was good.

The first time I went in afternoon at around 1 PM. There were multiple girls, I chose the youngest one.

Another massage parlour I went to was just opposite to Cristin. A young girl pulled me in and I didn't resist. They charged 350 THB for oil massage and 1 k THB for FS. Although it was economical, the service was not upto the mark as the Nuru place.

A week old FR: Went to the Nuru massage parlour, located in the lane opposite to Bangla road. Took a young looking girl for 1 hour, 2000 THB. Was taken to a room in first floor, which was like a cheap hotel room with attached shower and toilet. She cleaned me in the bathroom and then took me to the bed.
