So I am travelling next week to BKK and Phuket and staying at a resort with familia at Karon. We chose Karon because its not so far from the action but still reasonably far to have a good relaxed time with the familia.

Can any bro suggest me the scene in Karon or around, surely I will have a rented bike to travel to Patong or around so please share suggestions / tips for Karon and Patong.

Places like soapy massage, go go bars etc. Places where I can chill later at night, have a good time.

There are no soapies active legally in Phuket, or in Thailand, they are still Covid banned and closed.

Instead I would suggest you try out Nuru Massage in Patong, on Soi Sansabia or Soi Nanai.

Gogo's are open on Bangla, but are expensive.

And be careful drinking and riding back to Karon at night from Patong, as the police are very active and will catch you and fine you heavily.

Best to use tuk tuks if heading to Patong and Bangla at night.

There are good music bars open at Karon at night so try those out as a local getaway.

Not much of an active massage scene in Karon as of yet.

But there is a good one in Kata just a km or two away along Kade Kwan Road, about a dozen naughty massage shops.

The bonus here is they are much cheaper than going into Patong and searching along Ratuthit Road.

Cathay Pacific was also my favored pre-COVID airline, but their prices went up and travel times have gotten much worse. They were not too expensive if you booked in November 2021, but they are extremely expensive now. Other airlines are slightly more expensive than pre-COVID, but not too bad. In February 2022 I traveled to Phuket and found it much cheaper to book USA to Bangkok and then a separate booking Bangkok to Phuket. I bought separate bookings for my November 2022 trip to Phuket. There are other situations where the price is similar going from USA to Phuket as it is USA to Bangkok. Shop around.

Agree that the TF interface for iPhone is much worse now than it was many months ago. For me, it's unusable. But, it's still the same good old interface on my PC.

Question for those who have traveled a lot to Phuket before Covid:

Is current airfare much more than pre-Covid?

Second question: TF's new interface sucks ass. It seems you can't check out profiles nor customize your search without a membership. Is that true?

In 2019, I traveled to Phuket 3 times. Flying from SFO, layover in Hong Kong, then arriving in Phuket.

I'm itching to go again and have read the following for the unvaccinated:

"Unvaccinated travelers will have 2 options for entering Thailand:

• Unvaccinated travelers will be able to enter Thailand under the existing 5-day Alternate Quarantine program; OR.

• Unvaccinated travelers will be able to enter the No Quarantine program by completing an RT-PCR test and uploading the result into their Thailand Pass application. The test cannot be older than 72 hours before their arrival date."

The factory girl reported to me that ST for Suzy Wongs was 7000 baht.

If a high ST price was offered it's because the girl thought she could get it, or she priced it high because she didn't want to go.

Perhaps Explorer looks really wealthy or the Suzy Wong girl didn't want to go with his factory girl.

I didn't do the Soi Sea Dragon gogos in 2022, but my memory from 2020 is that they were slightly more expensive than in Nana Plaza. Overall the girls looked a bit better in Sea Dragon than Nana.

I would not have paid anything near 7000 baht. Perhaps I got a special deal because tourists were starting to disappear due to COVID. Can anybody confirm that 7000 baht?

There is no gogo set price for ST or LT at any of the Soi Seadragon gogos.

The only things the gogos set a price on is drinks, ladydrinks, and barfines.

With barfines varying based on the girls drawing power (IE clothed or naked dressing, or feature dancer / lesbian etc).

If a high ST price was offered it's because the girl thought she could get it, or she priced it high because she didn't want to go.

If it's busy they make very acceptable money on salary and ladydrinks, so they can afford be very picky who they go with it.

What a life for gogos . In the near past, Indians was unwanted customers in gogos and usually gogos wanted them to order drinks before entering in advance. . But now gogos hopes Indians money to survive. I am not Indian but I really didn't understand this racism in the past and now funny to watch how the scene changes in favors of Indians.
Did you ask bar fine and st/lt prices in gogos ? How much ld?

I hit some bars with my factory girl last night.

First bar was Harem, a self-described gentlemen's' club on Bangla Road. Inside, it was an upscale go-go, with ladies dancing in PG-13 clothes, no nudity. Most of the patrons were Indian men, with their Indian wives. The wives were all bored, most left after one drink.

Later, we went to Suzy Wong, which is under the same ownership as Harem. Not so many Indian customers, and was slightly more raunchy. In Phuket again. As usual, I am bringing talent from Pattaya with me. Her first move was to leave her cellphone and Thai ID in our taxi. After some anxious hours, the driver brought it back.

She loves beer, drank some bottles and was okay with boom-boom, but not active.

This lady is the neighbor of the lady I brought to Phuket last year. So, she is getting advice from last year's lady about Phuket. The price I am paying so that last year's lady doesn't pout is I take her to Chiang Rai next week.

I don't plan on doing much in Phuket, just hit the beach and the bars, and buy more beer.
