There are lots of individual small sized bars with pool tables around, especially along Nanai Road in the back of Patong.

What I meant was there are no big undercover areas of 20 plus bars with pool tables in Patong like there are / were all over Pattaya.

Those places do exist in Rawai area, tho they are smaller, around 10 bars per centre, Laguna Plaza, Gilbis (a new one), Banana Plaza.

Hi guys from Phuket (I started with sandbox) : the "first day /24 h" at SHA+ hotel: Well it's less as you are doing the first swab at the airport while landed and you will get the result on a website. You will need only few hours at your hotel until your result is available. For example for me, I landed early in the morning, the swab was quick, and I was already in the shuttle of my hotel. I had a nap at hotel as I didn't slept well in the plane and I refreshed the website regularly, in the beginning of the afternoon I've got the confirmation I was negative and I shown it at hotel. They released my passport and I was few minutes later in a massage shop for some relaxing moments.

About the 7 days: as you prepay 7 days, yeah you will have to keep that hotel. But about nights, it's more "5 days" until you get the second swab negative result. Simple.

About a girl at your hotel. If it's a girl friendly and they don't mind working girls (even 4 - 5 stars can, it's up the culture of the hotel), and if the hotel control is low, then no problem. If your hotel is strict about that it's better for you to get fun outside during that period (let say until 10 pm), you can also be hosted at a girl place, do a FS at a massage parlor. Etc. In my case my GF came to join me during these days, I had to provide her ID + 3 vax and it was totally ok for the hotel, just pay a double occupancy of course.

Bangla Road isn't busy as pre-covid but still alive. And if you didn't got problem to find girls before, they are still waiting you and new girls are also available for good seekers.

I agree with you. It felt like totally different Thailand compared to the past, pre Covid times in March 2020. And I have a gut feeling that things will never return to normal, buyers market for old man snake heads. The quality of available girls in Patong, who could be barfined, was the worst I have ever seen in Thailand during my years of travelling. And nearly all of the women in the bars had silicons. Same with freelancers. Thai girls love silicons, I don't. Normally I would not barfine those plastic boob chicks, but now I had no choice if I wanted to see and feel some pussy on a slim frame. In the past girls may refuse you if you are drunk, or smell bad,or your hair, your clothes, your teeth, your nails etc dirty, or you are not charming or you are cheap Charlie. But now girls almost refuse anyone who is NOT preferably young, handsome and fit body according to thai girl's opinion. This is just my experience and what I see when I talk with other expats here. BTW, no way I will pay 6000 baht for any girl, these prices are insane. And even only this Is a Enough indicator to see that, Thailand is not p4 p heaven anymore with these prices and attitudes for most guys. Again, this is just my experiences. BTW, I don't talk about only Phuket. I have been in pattaya, hua hin, koh Chang, samui, koh phangan, bkk, khao lak, and Phuket. Results are not different. During the pandemic there has always been an imbalance between supply and demand. There seemed to always been either an oversupply of women with zero customers, or when a small surge of tourists arrived an under supply of ladies.

I think it will take some consistency in tourist arrivals for the industry to start moving again. You would have to imagine there will be a ton of new girls when the industry finally gets going again.
