I am feeling a bit uncomfortable about those bloggers filming everything around including girls' customers. Not that I am paranoid or have many things to hide but would not be happy to see myself in one of those blogs sitting somewhere surrounded by barely dressed Thai females.

I'm 100% with you on this one. I like playing things very very discreetly. That said, I got unexpectedly caught out at a youtuber's restaurant one day when he had a "meetup. " It was a who's who of Phuket and Pattaya youtubers. Guys had flown in just for it. You'd recognize a lot of the faces if you've spent any time on youtube. Cameras absolutely everywhere, and in a pretty small venue. Sure enough, me and GF for a day wound up in a bunch of backgrounds (yes, I combed through many youtube accounts checking). Total worst case scenario right? Well, not really. Turns out that youtubers--people who make a living pointing cameras at themselves--their favorite subject is, wait for it, themselves. Me and GF for a day could have been potted plants in the background for all anyone would notice.

I'm still not enamored of the idea of cameras poking around the playground, but in practice it's not as bad as it seems in theory.

This was an unusual case and I haven't been able to have a similar experience. I paid for all our expenses (food, activities, hotel) and I bought her a some clothes (2000-3000 baht). Before leaving I stuffed an envelope of cash in the bottom of her purse, but she found it and gave it back. She had an ordinary day job, so we could only spend evenings, nights, and days off together. She was true girlfriend that lasted less than 3 weeks, but we still keep in touch after 5 years. I still miss her.

I had one other who I didn't pay (her family is wealthy). I gave the others 5,000-15,000 baht per week in cash and gold jewelry (I'm sure the jewelry was quickly converted back to cash). No prenegotiated amounts, I just gave at the end. These are not your 20-something agogo girls, these are attractive girls in their 30's and 40's (I'm old as dirt). I once made plans with a Butterflies Nana girl, but I realized she wanted lifetime family committment from me and I cancelled. I don't miss any of these, just fun for a week or two.

The proper technique depends on exactly what you want. If you want a regular TF hooker for 2 hours, post your picture with minimal information and then ask directly for what you want. If you want an online girl to spend several days (or weeks) with you, the random hooker is not likely to be compatible with your personality and your tastes. For that, I've invested between a week and months doing video chat prior to meeting in person. Be nice, but be yourself. Many of these girls are looking for husbands, don't lie to them about what you want or it will likely turn sour. It is clear that the gentleman has no game. I was there once. My suggestion is to consider offering more money, like promising a generous tip if your friend delivers. Plus don't forget to smile, a lot. It will do wonder for your confidence.

I have never been but there should be a soapy in Pearl Hotel might be worth checking out. I think also more turned to local but for sure had westerners stumble in.

Pearl Hotel? Afraid you're going back at least a decade. Last time I stuck my nose in there, they'the closed the glass window & had a couple of middle aged mamas in one of the hotel rooms upstairs. I didn't hang around.

Good to hear the Phoonphom Rd area is finally waking up again, tho Katherines was always the best there, hopefully it'll return soon.

Spent a month in Phuket before Christmas and was absolutely thrilled, in large part due to the help of my good buddy thaigoodtimes. Showed me the ropes and I can't thank him enough.

My time was a little restricted since I was with a female companion, but still managed to get some good massages in. First one was a dud as I went to north end of patong and couldn't even get a happy ending. So try and stay south of bangla road and you should be fine. I also was quite up front what I wanted and how much I was willing tipay for it right outside. The couple of times I went with "we can talk inside", it was always more expensive and rarely as good.

Mostlly it seems everything was available, just pick and choose.

BArs in patong are open. But the hardcore night clubs are close when I was there prior to Christmas.
