Koh Chang Hut seems to be quite reasonable (advertising rooms from 400b) , but only 700 was available to me.

It would have been a disaster. But it's kind of touching that that is the kind of place she would like to go.

I went to a couple of the other beer bars. In the one, a very sexy drunk abandoned **** threw herself at me very becomingly, and gave me the phone number of her younger sister in Bangkok.

The other one I went to was staffed by a team of midgets from Buriram. Two of them were playing pool with two tall Germans. In the meantime the dark one had finally joined us, but while the party was going to pieces some big guy rolled up quietly on a motorbike, gave her a nod, and she slipped away and got on behind him, and they vanished into the night.

I got a minibus from Pattaya, which includes the ferry trip, for 650. Not too rotten for that kind of thing. If I wanted to pay less, I would have had to flag down a bus on Sukhumvit highway, take a songtaew from Trat to a pier, and negotiate the ferry and transport on the island. Or I should have started from Ekkamai in Bangkok. I'll know the way better next time.

The songtaew from the pier to the first beach (White Sand Beach) is 50b, which I thought at first was a bit much. I thought maybe I'll just walk. That would have been a mistake. It's miles along the coast, up and down. So 50b is actually perfectly reasonable.

White Sand Beach is "overdeveloped", but quite comfortable. Accommodation is rather overpriced on the low end. Koh Chang Hut seems to be quite reasonable (advertising rooms from 400b) , but only 700 was available to me. I was shown the place by an older bargirl. Later I went to buy her a drink and heard that she stayed with an American guy for 5 years, but he suddenly went home one day. Now she's looking for someone to take care her again, and she believes it's a better class of mongers who come to Koh Chang.

The bars are easy to find, just walk to the southern end. There's one main cluster of bars. They weren't fully stocked with girls, some were empty, but enough to go round. I found a bar with four cuties. I stayed for a while chatting and flirting, and eventually the partygirl I was talking to asked if I saw any girls I liked anywhere. I told her yes, actually I'd like to fuck your younger sister. The younger sister was a very proper-looking slim girl who hadn't made eye contact at all. She was smily enough, but with the other girls. At that point, she was off somewhere. Her sister went off to find and and tell her the good news. There's a street called Hua Hin 80 with a cluster of bars where you'll find action. It's off Phetchakasem Road. Heading from Hua Hin airport there's a set of traffic lights just past the temple complex. Go straight on (if you turn left at these lights you'll find the police station and post office) for about 200 metres. Hua Hin 80 is a street on the right; there's a 7 to 11 on the corner that you can use as a landmark. The first bar on the right, called Omah, advertises massage but is straight. Other bars further down the street has action. One called Night Owl has cubicles upstairs. 300 baht fot "massage" plus 1000 for the lady.

Am considering a move from BKK to Hua Hin so went down this past weekend to check it out. IMO, it's a decent place, pretty laid back, with a nice vibe and friendly people. A little more touristy than I'd expected, even though it's low season.

Just happened into the sin sector and found most bars very empty, and, consequently, most girls were a bit aggressive in their attempts to grab the few wallets that were about.

I must say I was grossly underwhelmed with the age, quality, and general attractiveness of the bar girls. I saw mostly 4-5 range women, mostly in their 30s and 40s. Certainly not a lot to tempt me to part with my money.

And then it happened, I was walking along and I see this cute little thing at the Romantic Bar (across from a 7-11).
