My yuk-yuk driver was most disappointed in that I refused the opportunity.

As to Mai Sai. Go down left of Thai Gate and follow road to the right under the border crossing bridge. Local brothels along the road and hard drinking clubs.

Supect any yuk yuk driver will know where to go. But you have to be desperate!

If bringing a friend with you, you will need to spend some time finding a PYT who will go with you. Not all the hotels in Ao Nang are girlfriendly. For instance Mercure is not, it charges a hefty joiner fee

A preliminary walk around my hotel indicates that there are more massage parlours per street than in any Skvy Soi.

However before you get too excited, the masseuses are either well past their sale by date (and given how Thai women do not show their age, that is being kind) or bluntly too unattractive to make it to the seamy shores go Bangkok.

Prices are comparable with Chiang Mai; I did not sample the quality.

It is a BYO place on first glance.

Sounds like you are at the Wangcome Hotel. Take a walk over to the Wiang Inn. There is a karoke bar in the basement open at night. When I was there they had 4 girls, a couple real lookers. I think it was 1500bht take out or rent a VIP room for a bit more. I stayed at that hotel and took one to my room. She spent the night and was happy with a 500bht tip.

thanks i hope i get lucky at bangla st. so i am planning to hit ao nang first instead as i heard there are go-go bars there. maybe i can find a pyt to take to lanta from there.

i am planning a few overnight stays at phi phi and ko lanta. going through this thread, it looks like there are no go-go bars at these places. is there scope for fls or pickup with a backpacker at phi phi? the reports of karaoke bars at lanta are pretty old.

My best choice would be Chalelarn Hotel in 53/1 Nahb Kaehat Road. Balcony, directly downtown, room safe, free wifi, roof top pool. What I'm concerned it cannot get any better for what I'm looking for.

It depends what you need from a hotel!

I have used Thipurai Beach Hotel a couple of times. (http://www.thipurai.com/) It is a good, mid range hotel with excellent location and reasonable rooms. Some with balcony. No problems with bringing your "playmates" back.

I can not remember if there were safes in the room or if they charge for internet.

City Beach Resort (http://www.citybeachhuahin.com/) used to be quite OK but I have not stayed there for many years now.

Yesterday while waking around Krabi I found a street with massage parlors, one had posters of sexy girls outside, another had a fishbowl visible from the sidewalk (doors were open) , also a massage + karaoke place. Yeah, it's Maharaj Soi 5. A few massage parlour, plus a karaoke on the other end of the road (one end is Green House Hotel).

I read that the karaoke girls (10-15 sitting outside) are available for ST. But when I walked by, they don't seem interested.

So I went to the massage parlor 3 shops away from Green House. The 30+ yr old lady brought me to the 2nd floor, quoted me THB400 for 1 hour oil massage.

Her skill's quite good. Then 10 minutes past, she asked me if I want to make love, I said no. During the massage she can't stop tickling my dick & nipple though.

When she's done, I requested for a BJ. She wanted cover but I insisted on BB & I want she to take her top off as well. She wanted THB600 which I'm fine.

Today around 3pm (Tuesday) I went back and had a look around. There are a few fishbowls but they had between 0 and 5 girls in them, while on Sunday afternoon the one I saw had maybe 10. But today lots of girls sitting at tables outside.

Visited 5 places and the price varied between 300 and 400 baht for 1 hour oil or thai massage. Mostly girls in late 20's and thirties with a few cute ones. Decided to go to the first place I visited (300 baht) as one of the girls sitting outside was cute and was very smiley (while most of the others looked uninterested or sullen.

We went up to the 3rd floor and she changed (shorts, tshirt) for the oil massage. I haven't had many massages (and rather new at mongering) but I would say the massage was good, not too soft and not too hard and she had good technique, she spent maybe half time on my legs, back and front, and my back and arms. I declined the head massage as I didn't want to get oily hair (newb here, would she have gone to wash her hands?)

She said the massage was over if I didn't want head massage so I asked about extras. No FJ, for HJ (1000 baht total) , covered BJ was 1500 and she refused my offer of 2000 for BBBJ. So I went with HJ.

I would rate 7/10 the HJ. I like her voice so I asked her to say naughty things while doing it and keep eye co.
