I assume your holiday is nearly over. I should have seen your post earlier. Anyway, Hua Hin is quiet and now with the passing of the monarch even more. However, any real action is either found in Soi Bintabaht, Soi 80, online escorts from backpage or bangkokescorts. All you really need to do is stroll Soi Bintabaht or Soi Poonsuk (near the Hilton) and inquire at the Massage shops. I like "Orange" but the girls change often.

Why not just stay at a hotel with a nice pool in Pattaya? Never been but I'm guessing Hua Hin will be quiet for a single male who normally visits Pattaya.

I was in Hua Hin earlier this year (May 2016). Indeed it is more quiet place compared to Pattaya.

As to mongering, there are a sizeable number of bars in the bar area (near Binta Baht street, near to where the terrorist bombs exploded) which all have some bargirls to take out. Nothing "Soi 6" style though!

I did not see any obvious streetwalkers, but then again, I'm rarely interested in streetwalkers so I may have totally not registered them.

I have been told there are some freelancers operating at the Hilton bar.

Massage shops are somewhat all over the place and I tried one but I wasn't overly impressed. If I remember well HJ was 500 baht extra, BJ 1000 extra. FS wasn't discussed. Of course one example is hardly representative of the scene.

Agogo clubs don't seem to exist there.

There's simply no comparison between Hua Hin and Pattaya. Pattaya is the glooming center of nightlife, where Hua Hin is a little laid back city for retired Farang's. You will find in Hua Hin quiet a few Bar's where you can drink and play Pool, but female Top Picks are rare. I would rate the girls there at max. 3rd class in terms of looks and age. But as I said, there are a lot of retired peoples, so an 35 to 40 year old lady may fit well for an 70 year old guy?

Hua Hin has a residence of the King, so everything to much open and wild is a No-Go for this city. But behind curtain most things are of course glooming as everywhere in Thailand.

Had my first and possibly last visit. In a word it was awful.

I arrived at 1830 which was admittedly early, but I had plans at about 9 pm. At this time, the girl selection was small but I took a young, busty girl with dyed, red-brown hair. Paid 2,200 baht (about 60 usd) went upstairs to a low budget flop with a bed, tub, TV, and an AC unit. I learned later that girls price range from 2,200 up to 2,900.

The girl, "L" turned out to be sick, like strep throat or tonsillitis sick, coughing all the time, barely able to give any head, the bath was too dirty to get into so I got a lame standing shower, a very lame massage as the girl coughed all over my backside, a decent HJ with oil, then the condom. You should not have certainties about Phayao and re-investigate the city.

I've been there 5 or 6 times for business and wandered all over the city and never found anything, except massage parlors with relatively unattractive older ladies outside. I've stayed along the lake and walked that area several times, and have also stayed in the city center at the Gateway Hotel and checked out the bars next to it. I've been to the bigger one (Hollywood I think) and it gets a crowd of younger Thais but I didn't see any P4 P ladies there, it was like a normal bar for friends to hang out it.

So if you have info on Phayao, please share it as I will need to go back again! It would be helpful for others too.

Thanks for the info, I have a visit to Chiang Rai coming up soon. I sometimes have business in Phayao and have overnighted there several times in the past 2 years but I can't find anything there. As far as I can tell, Phayao doesn't have anything for the farang visitor. Chiang Mai is a bit too far, so this time I'm going to try Chiang Rai as it's just an hour and a half away.

I'm going to do some research here and will report back after my trip. But if anyone has any recommendations for a girl friendly hotel in a convenient location in Chiang Rai, I'd appreciate it.
