The uriine test was inconclusive for STD's but did show high Leucocytes (white blood cells) indicating that they were fighting an infection.

So the doctor then wanted to test the penile discharge for possible gonorrhea so I smeared my dick on two small glass plates. The results became available after two hours but did not manage to pick up an indication of gonorrhea, which the doctor said could be due to the initial injection that I had at a clinic 3 days earlier.

She concluded that I probably have a gonococcal infection (but unproven), and prescribed a 7 day course of Doxycycline antibiotics. 2 x 100 MG per day.

Plus she prescribed Ibuprofen 400 MG, 3 times daily as an anti-inflammatory, plus Paracetamol 500 gm, 2 tabs every 6 hours for pain relief.
Next time, go to a clinic and see an urologist specialist in male organs or a venereologist specialist in infectious diseases. You need to visit a specialist that's used to this kind of problem. A specialist can easily tell you what you have when you visit him / her. She is general practicioner or specialist? Antibiotics can affect the test, that's why you are asked to have a test before taking the treatment.

I hope things will be better for you.

As Dr Sae-Wong works in Pattaya, no doubt she is familiar with STIs. Good, cautionary report.

    Pattaya City Hospital

I recently posted about a possible STD picked up in Pattaya. I posted about it in the Bangkok Reports, so have now switched to the Safe Sex in Thailand section.

Guys, many thanks for your suggestions. Today I walked into the Pattaya City Hospital which is on Soi Buakhao close to Soi Lengkee.

I got an appointment with a doctor but had to pay a 1000 baht deposit first.

After describing my illness (inflammed penile urethra that made peeeing extremely painful, plus a small clear yellowish discharge from the tip), the doctor directed me to have a uriine test. I had to deliver only 30 ML to a small container. The results were to take only one hour.

All up the cost for everything (consultations, uriine test, medications) was 892 baht (about $30 usd). Extremely reasonable.

The doctor's name was Dr Petcharat Sae-wong, a fairly young female who spoke good English and seemed to know what she was doing.

I will see how things progress, but overall I think it is best to avoid clinics where they don't test you, and go to a hospital instead.

HIV infection occurs through direct entry into the bloodstream, not via the exchange of bodily fluids like you claim.

Ingesting a girl's blood does not result in the transmission of HIV.

Direct entry to the bloodstream can occur for example if you have an open wound on your dick (caused by a herpes blister for example), or via needle sharing.

If DATY resulted in HIV transmission then most of the entire adult age human population would probably be HIV positive by now. Don't you think?

It is a good idea to use not simply ordinary soap but a proper anti bacterial wash. Anyway one can always have a bit of fun in the shower, although for the girl she needs to makes sure she washes internally.
Do you have studies to show how much more effective a so called "anti-bacterial" soap is over an ordinary soap? I suspect marketing hype may exaggerate it. If you consult Gynaecologists, I believe they advise girls that vaginas are not meant to receive soap at all. Mucks up the bodies natural balance, and high pH may not be good promoting fungal infections such as thrush. Hence they do make special wash lotions for vaginas. A good wash after sex is essential especially the hands as well which have collected bacteria.

As for surveys re STDs, one problem is many people may be lairs, and some famous researchers had to be discredited, since the fantasized average American's sex life was much better than reality.

Perhaps it is possible to isolate some subjects that received BBBJ and did DATY but never did BBFS, and find in these cases an much lower rate of HIV. Perhaps some guys never took a BBBJ as well. Lesbians might be indulging in DATY only. Anyway I believe it was possible to say that they had a hard time proving that subjects ever got HIV from DATY, or numbers so low as to be quite unsure. Certainly they deduced the risk was far lower than BBFS, already a quite low risk for the guy, but higher risk for the girl. After so many years of research and varying results, some sort of average pattern emerges, but risk rates may have a significant error margin.

I believe I read of studies some time back on lesbian partners practising DATY and one of them being HIV positive, and finding the virus was not passed on in general. So DATY maybe very low on the scale of risks.

It is believed that saliva is very good at protecting against STDs. It is generally accepted that DATY and BBBJ are lower risks than BBFS, however I believe I once contracted Chlamydia from a BBBJ although cannot prove it 100% (depends on how long it takes to surface after contact). The doctor did not necessarily believe me at all. Once you have had more than one partner, is hard to prove which one gave it to you unless you have their positive test as well, and negatives for the others. Very large samples are needed to make better deductions.

    Safe sex.

I have read quit a bit of this thread, and it is important to note that most medical studies are incorrect and cannot be replicated. For example see:

    https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-39054778

"Science is facing a "reproducibility crisis" where more than two-thirds of researchers have tried and failed to reproduce another scientist's experiments, research suggests. ".

There is one obvious reason for this, namely that it is almost impossible to isolate just one factor, just one life-style choice, so as to assess the relevant of that factor, and its own individual and unique risks. Thus the chances are that those that have engaged in BBFS have also engaged in BBBJ. Those that have engaged in DATY probably have also engaged in BBBJs. Thus it becomes very difficult to associate what the risk is individually, ie. , only engaging in BBFS and not also in DATY or BBBJ (or any individual habit). Further, a man always sees what he wants to see, so it is easy to delude oneself as to the real risks, and convince oneself that a certain practice is not particularly risky.

HIV (and most STDs) are passed on by the exchange of bodily fluids. What if you have DATY with a girl who has just finished her period, but is still excreting very small, but almost invisible, quantities of blood? Ditto, if the girl is about to come on to her period. At one time, before the relatively recent change in the law, many German FKK clubs offered tabulos days (all forms of uncovered sex) and I have never seen a study where it has been shown that the risks of attending that type of Club is significantly higher than FKK clubs which practiced entirely safe sex.

Taking Antibiotics is fine if really becomes necessary, however routine taking is not good. Destroys your gut bacteria. Changes your metabolism. It becomes hard to get your gut bacteria back into good shape. You need to starve the bad bacteria from sugars and eat a very high fibre diet to promote the right types. Your gut bacteria may never return to normal. Fast weight gain occurs and is hard to lose it again.

Probiotics may have benefits but studies show they are rather doubtful. Might depend greatly on the type. Keffir might be a lot better than Yogourt drinks. I am not an expert here. However wise to be sceptical.

https://www.alexfergus.com/blog/11-r...obiotic-drinks Yakult is high added sugar or artificial sweeteners. Bad. Many Yogourts have sugar added. No good. They sell zero percent fat yogourt but it still has sugar. The old low fat is good for you myth is still around. Sugar is more fattening than is fat in food.

    https://www.minnpost.com/second-opin...-studies-find/

    https://www.livescience.com/63513-pr...uestioned.html

It is better not to take long term antibiotics. Don't destroy your gut bacteria balance if possible.

Taking antibiotics with a cold or flu may be a bad idea. Was a bad idea I tried to treat pimples with long term anti-biotics. Changed me from skinny to able to gain weight easily. The correct way would have been to have a healthy diet low in sugar and starches, drink water.

I have some spare antibiotics in case of catching an STD or similar, but I really don't want to use it.

My personal bias is to a low sugar low starch high fibre diet. I never worry about fat content of foods. Not a vegetarian but don't overdo meat intake. Low meat is greatly assisting weight loss too. It is easy to see weight gains when sugar and simple starch intake goes up.

If you have serious weight problems, it could be your gut bacteria population is imbalanced and feeding the wrong bacteria with sugars, beer, and starchy foods like bread, potatoes, rice, pasta etc. Research the internet to find the latest theories. The science of the metabolism is still in its infancy. The old avoid saturated fats myth was promoted by the fraud "not even scientist" Keyes. He was known to cherry pick his data. How is it that Eskimos on very high fat diets (animal fat) are not prone to heart disease? The fallacy was so obvious. Disproving stupid theories is a lot easier than proving anything.

Government dietary advice has been bad for so long. No need to believe them at all, even their latest updates are likely to include myths. Maybe in another 200 years, we will understand the importance of choosing what we eat better, and no more about causes of Alzheimers, heart disease, cancer etc. I prefer to take less risks and avoid chemicals and additives in food if possible, eat natural fresh stuff like our ancestors did. Unfortunately when young, I already ate a lot of junk. Can't undo that now.

No one seems to think high fibre vegetables are bad for you (not including potatoes here). No one thinks pure plain water is bad for you.

The translation is reasonable. The Thai says "This condom does not contain any natural latex rubber". This means it contains something else probably synthetic. The Thai phrase does not attempt to say what it is, only what it does not contain. Some girls claim to be allergic to latex.

I use these Okamota 003's because I can buy them easily in 7 Eleven and because the feel is superior to me to others I tried, including Sagamis. Sagami condoms go on wrinkled and are not really stretchy (non latex). This I don't like. Okamotos are latex and stretch well, which they need to since they are slightly too small. Using the right technique I can get them on easily, firm fit, with no bubbles hopefully, but okay Because the stretch force is not severe. I always put them on myself rather than have the girl struggle with it and cause the harm on to go down.

With any latex condom, lube is needed for any fucking beyond a quickie. Girl natural lube does not last and not enough for latex. I like very slippery myself, as it feels more normal. I always use lube even without condoms. Can easily graze a girls pussy skin if lube is inadequate from latex friction.

P4 P girls are probably not more risky than non P4 Ps with a lot of partners. Could be the reverse.

Truvada is more than 90% effective against HIV if taken correctly. As an user, I think it's another layer of protection in case condom breaks or when things get too hot and decided to go bareback. But Truvada does not protect against pregnancy or herpes (both motherfuckers follow you for life). Every action has consequences, nothing is 100%; but hey, you are in Thailand surrounded by all these hot girls, just grab some condoms and enjoy their accompany.

Start one week before sex & keep taking it for one month after sex.

Its available in Thai Govt Hospitals, go to the CDC talk to the doctor.

For specialty clinic, google Silom Pulse Clinic in Bangkok. Make an Appointment ($30/ bottle, another $120 for tests).

If you want to start mongering right away, order the Thai or Indian generic version from an online pharmacy that ships to you ($50/ bottle). Try to start dosing 1 week before mongering.

If you psychologically afraid of diseases, then sir. Stay away from mongering & all kinds of risky interaction with bio-entities (including nasty food staff). Await death, as another old peasant who gets force-fed the bitter dish of death against his will.
