The problem was not a chancre in the eye, he had stroke like symptoms. That means the bacteria entered the blood. Uveitis and other eye problems are caused by many things that are more common than std.
Yes I never said the chancre was in his eye, we have to assume was on his dick (otherwise he might have been more specific), which is a classic symptom of Syphilis we are taught. We also hear that untreated syphilis causes blindness. So if was me, I would getting STD tests including Syphilis, just in case, without arrogantly trying to know the problem for sure.
Why wouldn't you suspect Syphilis? Vision problems after a chancre sounds like absolutely classic symptoms, even I don't have expertise. I don't know if herpes lesions are at all similar, but I suppose that threw you off the scent.
No need to be casual about a Chancre.

I am 49 years old straight man that had visited Thailand 1-2 times a year for about 10 years then stopped coming for about eight years until last year when I visited two times. As many people do I have Herpes so yes I had an outbreak after my last visit so I didn't think anything about the chancre. The other symptoms I experienced after my last visit I just wrote them off as getting older and did not think anything more about it.
I visited the eye Dr for an exam because I noticed my blurry vision was getting worse.

I visited the eye Dr for an exam because I noticed my blurry vision was getting worse. He saw that my ocular nerve was severely swollen and sent me to Ophthalmologist who in turn sent me to Neurologist because they thought I had possibly had a stroke or early signs of Multiple Sclerosis. They performed a CAT scan, MRI, lumbar puncture and multiple blood draws. Everything came back negative. I had not been forthcoming with the Dr's about my mongering activities. I consented to be tested for STI / STD's and came back positive for Syphilis. I went to two other Dr's to have second and third opinions. Each time after testing I showed positive for Syphilis.
I was given an injection of Penicillin and and told to come back for another blood test 2-3 weeks later. I still tested positive for syphilis. The Dr told me they have seen an increase recently of some strain of syphilis coming out of SE Asia that was not responding to the normal treatment protocols. It was decided to give me the 21 day continuous drip Penicillin treatment. I have since been tested and all results are negative..
Your story doesn't sound real. With lumbar puncture, you can rule out infectious diseases, inflammatory diseases and cancer. They found out I have cancer by using lumbar puncture. Neoplasm caused by stomach cancer. If all negative, that means you have no neurological problems, If your MRI, Cat scan and lumbar puncture were normal, that means everything is OK, you had no neurological problems. Sorry but I don't believe in your story. You are an imaginary person with so called neurosyphilis because some people talked about ocular syphilis and neurosyphilis.
If the view presented is silly enough we can suspect irony, however I note some posts getting taken seriously, when they shouldn't, especially if authored by Smoothy.
ET is known for extreme chains of logic to reach far out seemingly ironical questions at times, but hard to tell how serious he is about his chain of logic making sense. So his posts read far too exaggerated on some topics, but serious or not? Hard to tell. I merely hope he is joking, at times with some posts.
I rarely try to be funny, but if teasing, add a "just kidding" since I am normally so straight.
I don't know. I haven't had any trouble interpreting ET's posts. At least as far as I am aware.
If you see any possibility of humor in the post, it's probably a joke. I'm not sure what could be funny about statins.
Humour is out of place on this thread. Getting the clap in Thailand, as I have done, is no laughing matter. One needs sound advice and the address of the nearest clap clinic, not some fool's version of a joke.
I think an educated mind can sort out the jokes from the serious posts. If there is some confusion, c'est la vie.

Do you want us to take you seriously this time? Joking around too much makes it seem like all posts are jesting. Irony really isn't that clever. Maybe some readers like it.

In my opinion, statins cause more problems than they solve. I know lot of people who have had problems when they start taking statins.

So many close relatives or friends are on statins and still believe heart disease is all about cholesterol. Its frightening how they want to trust doctors and big Pharma.
People are not getting calcification scans, scared of a miniscule radiation dose, while conveniently they can't find out if they have serious heart disease and if it is progressing.
They might find they have nothing to worry about and certainly don't need Statins.
Instead the doctors make big money while saying Statins will smash you high LDL readings. Modern experts talk about Insulin resistance instead of cholesterol.
Statins shut down several important body functions or biological processes. Such an expensive way to treat heart disease with such poor results. Doctors don't want cheaper ways that are more effective.
Diet is the big one, surprise surprise.

Sure. BTW https://www.drperlmutter.com/about/bio/ is a 4 time New York Times best seller list neurologist MD. He basically shreds the cholesterol being bad and taking statins big pharma induced thingy and much more. Guess we live in the Information Age so one should research & decide for themselves what and who makes sense. Recently courts have awarded cancer patients millions and held Monsanto responsible for hiding & misrepresenting the dangers of roundup & glyphosate.

A related ailment, Fellatio Dentatus is absolutely excruciating. It's most often caught from a BBBJ, due to poor technique. Braces heighten the risk. Fortunately, the effects only last a few days.
Oh man, really don't like that one. And it seems to be happening more and more.
VAGINA DENTATA is the worst std you can catch. condoms won't protect you. that's why chopping off your dick is the best way to prevent that std.

Being on a veg farm, we don't use serious chemical sprays. I really look to eat healthy and avoid chemical treatments.
