You'd be surprised at the lack of knowledge about STDs among Thais. I've seen girls who had quite a few genital warts and they thought absolutely nothing was wrong with them. I've also seen girls with open herpes lesions that had no idea what was going on. I will agree that the majority of them know about many different forms of contraception, but when It comes to STIs they are not well informed. IMHO, there are at least 2 moral issues related to BB punting.

1. Pregnancy. Either have a vasectomy or be sure she is using something to prevent pregnancy.
