Good to know Tagged can work. Curious to know- did you cultivate the Tagged contacts before visiting or only search when on the ground?

I contacted one prior to arrival the rest were spontaneous. A few days prior to arrival, might be a good idea.

As I end my 1 week stay in HCMC I thought I will let my fellow mongers know what I rate this city for mongering and my experiences.

1. Accomodation: I stayed at a high end 5 star hotel the Rex. It has a lot of history in the hotel for those interested in the history please look it up. I don't want to bore you. The hotel is prime location sandwiches between Ben tanh market and Saigon centre. Prime location for shopping and another 30 k VND taxi to bue vein street, a 5 minute walk to the bars on Pasteur street.

Ok. The hotel rules. I had a suite on the executive wing which meant that any visitor of mine had to be met by me personally and I had to swipe her in the elevator to bring her up. Secondly the hotel allowed visitors for free until 2200 hours. After that they charge about $30 per night to check the lady in my room and will check her out of the system the following morning. But you can sneak her in before 10 pm.

2. Mongering scene: The bars on Pasteur street are a rip off. Don't go there unless you want to look and can't touch or take out. The modus operandi for them is the hire attractive girls and convince the guests to buy more drinks for them and lady drinks. I went to one such bar called Voo and I spotted a girl who had such a loose top and no bra that I could see all that she was trying to hide (failing) . I put my hand from the side of her top to have a mini gripe but she got p!ssed off with me and never came back to my seat. This is surely not how other SEA hostess bars work. Makati, Bangkok, Jakarta, KL Sings you name it. The ladies there are to entertain in every way they can.

The bars on bue vein are surely much more livelier and full of expats and locals wanting to have a good time. I'the Say there are a few places where it may be possible to pick a few FL but with the noise levels so high from the bars it will be quite challenging to actually have a conversation. Having said that there is a possibility. Go 2 Bar and Crazy buffalo has some pretty good girls.

There are loads of street peddlers who have a cycle and try to sell you a short time boom boom. Handle with care. But they have an impressive collection of girls and within 2-3 minutes they will be about 6-8 motorists bringing in girls ranging from 6-8. They bring them at the end of bue vein near YOLO club.

Yolo club: a great location to watch the locals party and see the expats go high on those helium balloons. But IMHO not a place for picking girls.

So then where do we pick girls.

Online platforms: the moment you land get a local sim at the airport.

Install the following apps:

I am naming them in order of success for mongering.

1. Wechat.

2. Badoo (subscribe to premium).

3. Zalo.

4. WhatsApp.

5. Instagram.

There was huge success in wechat and badoo all my girls were free and no money exchanged. They want to be with decent men who know how to look after them. It takes a little bit of work but it's worth it. Again I seriously wouldn't recommend this procedure for all. I may have been lucky. I had a girl with my every night and had 1 girl who I repeated 3 nights. She was a spectacular 21 why spa therapist who I met when having a facial and a pedicure. I may have been lucky again. She took to to bue vein on her scooter and then later met her at YoLo with her sister who was equally hot. Badoo was the same but to a smaller scale as it was mixed with girls who were looking for a serious relationship. I met one girl from badoo who was a preschool teacher and all she wanted was sea food. What ensued for a full stomach and two glorious rounds of steamy sex. Again no money exchanged. Let me warn you some of the girls even blocked me when I said I will pay them for the time they spend with me. LOL.

Instagram. Random girls you will have to filter by location for example yolo and then go to the page and click on the girls profile and then send them a message. I must have contacted about 40 and 1 responded back. And she was great. Again free. Wanted to eat sushi and drink sake. LOL.

Massage: there are some lovely massage places in hcmc ranging from seedy to high end. I didn't try any of them from bue vein as IMHO they only offer HJ. I tried a few upscale ones and all offered HJ but I didn't want it and just enjoyed the massage. I don't they any offer FS.

There were the odd masaage spa that came on wechat that offered to send ladies the room for 300 kvnd for 90 minuts and tip to be discussed with the girl.

My conclusion: as I have travelled extensively in SEA and mongered I wouldn't like to recommend this place for a newbie. This place has some of the most beautiful woman but the whole infrastructure is not set up yet.

The hotel, the bars the beer gardens the clubs the masaage shops. All of them have a few negative issues compared to Thailand, or Philippines.

Will I come back. I think I will as I would like to see if I can get lucky the second time.

I'm looking to return to HCMC after a single visit 15 years ago and just want to check if I have my facts straight. I've been mongering in the Philippines and HCMC seems to operate with some significant differences:

Local options seem to be significantly focused towards ST encounters. Thiendia et al seem to offer very cute girls at low prices but there is the (not too hard) language and navigation issues to overcome. The bars in expat / tourist areas seem to have older lookers but at much higher (near unreasonable) prices and come with a hardened attitude to match. Taking them back to a hotel will mean dealing with guest curfews. What idiot thought those up? Similarly, massage and BJ bars are by definition very ST.

My experience: Confirm. The majority of Thiendia and kynu.net girls are ST. They are almost always managed by pimps. Independent FL's are rare or don't last long here. The pimps, supported by local LEA, make sure of that. The language problem is mainly because the ones with good English are in Dubai and Singapore making more money. The pimps make the decisions who stays and who goes overseas. The mongers like you and I get the leftovers of the English-speaking Viet girls. The hotel curfew is ONLY selectively enforced on certain hotels, usually those that failed to pay respect to local officials. Those hotels who pay appropriate respect local officials can totally IGNORE the curfew.

While I would never knock back a cheap ST with a young stunner, my preferred option is an all nighter LT. I like to enjoy breakfast 😁 and endless STs gets old fast. You repeatedly do not know what you are going to get vs repeating with a known skilled provider.

My experience: Since LT and independent FL are hard to come by, my best experience are with LTR, that requires some investment in time and efforts, but I find the rewards are well worth the efforts. LTR beats P4P by far because it is real GFE. The only problem I have so far is that some LTR can be very clinging, hard to say goodbye.

My understanding is that 3-star and below hotels don't observe the curfew. Is this universal or do I need to seek out lower end GF hotels to enable an overnighter?

My experience: By nature, 4-star hotels tend to be related to some high ranking officials, they have reputation, and their association can be exploited by political enemies, in that case they must observe the curfew. 3-star hotels are small fishes and must pay respect to local LEA, and get protection by those LEA. These dynamics are hard to understand by foreigners, but if you get the drift, it is very natural.

Is LT at a reasonable cost easily achievable online? RTFF indicates that even chat room hookups tend to not stay the whole night but need to get home.

My experience: My best LT experience are with LTR, next are those advertised on Kynu.net and thiendia with as "qua dem" (overnight). For those LT I usually pay 1.5 mil VND to 3mil per night with MSOG, for certain exceptional, I can go 5 to 10 mil (models, singers, entertainers, PG).

Are Thiendia or chat room girls open to bare back? Again RTFF indicates that going bare is nowhere near as common as the Philippines. Will asking upfront be well received or rejected outright?

My experience: I only go bare back with my LTR. My experience is that if the girl really likes you, she will go all the way, no problem. You may want to think hard about protection though.
