As I have said in my previous posts, I am a fan of dating sites. So this is my first report here after reading secretly for a while now. I wasn't sure about the thread, so please move it, when it's wrong here. Thanks!

I travelled 35 days through Vietnam and did some mongering too, so maybe I can give some useful information, even though I highly doubt it:

I only found girls in Hanoi and HCMC. Also 1 girl from danang in hoi an. The rest was a dead desert. I have to point out though, that I mostly visited smaller cities in the centre.

1) I started in Hanoi and went to the Mai Spa. The building is OK and the rooms nothing special, but do their job. A chubby girl entered the room and I probably could have said no, but that's not really my thing. I would give her a generous 4. But her attitude was actually quite good and she seemed to like her job. She was smiling and really happy when I finished (more hand job, than BJ). All in all it wasn't bad and I would give the experience a 6.

2) I also went to nuru massage parlour, but didn't like the entrance at all, so I went to wechat and line and used the people nearby option. The girl in Hanoi was OK. Older than on the picture, but she made me come twice, which isn't easy (I'm over 40 and things are becoming much more difficult).

3) In hoi an isn't anything of interest (in any case) so again I went with nearby option. Her name was Jolie and she is really hard to judge. Looks maybe 4-5 (again a bit chubby). Very whiny character. You always hear: I'm such a poor girl, I can't do this, I can't do that bla bla bla. But in the end she does everything you want. So far she was the only one to allow me to cum in her mouth. Overall experience: again a 6 I would say. (very overpriced though, because she came from Danang. 4) HCMC: puh. So many options, but not many I liked. The blow Job bars are just not my thing at all. Shabby looking building, sleazy old men trying to lure you in. From what I saw none of the girls were very attractive. But I hate these sexy looking dresses they wear, so maybe that clouded my judgement. Little Tokyo area has gorgeous looking girls, but ridiculous prices. I'm not going to pay 3 million for 1 session. That's just not my thing.

So I went back to my usual people nearby method. I'm not going to report every girl in detail here, but this option is really hit and miss. I had 1 unbelievable woman (yes, she is pretty old by modern standards, but so am I), who gave me an orgasm I haven't had in a long time. I was still shaking 2 minutes after. No CIM or on her face though, but great GFE.

I also had 1 terrible and 1 pretty bad experience. The terrible one was with 2 girls and now I think that was the mistake. My favourite girl was actually quite lovely, but I really wanted to try out 2 girls, so I booked another one (the text messages on line were quite clear that I was talking to the pimp). The second girl was just horrible. Bad attitude, no feeling for timing etc. At the end I couldn't even come. She wanted an extra tip, which I declined. She started to scream and got really angry. She took my wallet and grabbed my money. Luckily I am prepared for this kind of BS in Asia and had only 20 euros and 150 Chinese yuan in my wallet. Anything of value was safely hidden in the hotel safe. Always book with a hotel safe!

The bad experience was similar, but without the robbing. I'm going to meet 1 more tonight. If she is really good, I'll let you guys know, but I have my doubts.

My Tips for wechat, line etc.

Be prepared that all Fotos are photoshopped (no scams though, all girls who came were the ones on the Foto).

Try to go out for a coffee first to test her attitude. There are some bad crazy chicks out there.

One general tip: don't always go with the youngest and hottest. In my experience they are far more often only interested in the money and very mechanical. Don't be afraid to go for the older or uglier ones if they seem friendly and motivated. Motivation and attitude is far more important than looks (at least for me).

This may be counter-intuitive, but most high end hotels are associated with high ranking officials, they must avoid scandals, while three star and below are small fishes and they must pay regular fees to local officials for their operations. High end hotels must maintain their status thus they are more likely to be strict on girl. Most hotels in the Bui Vien area are three stars or less, and definitely girl friendly.

Experienced traveller here, including most of SE Asia. I have been to northern Vietnam for sightseeing, but did not punt there. I am now considering a short trip (a little over a week there) to see HCMC, Nha Trang, Hue, and all the nice places to the south. But at night, I was also thinking of getting some action.

Can someone clarify something for me. Is punting legal? I mean, I know its "illegal" almost everywhere, including Thailand. But its tolerated as long as its contained. But now that I am researching HCMC, I am trying to get a feel for the situation. I know that it won't match Thailand for extravagance and pervasiveness. I just want to know that I can find some venues and have fun at night without having to worry about LE. Because if that's the case, I may just go to Thailand again.

If there are differences or precautions that need to be taken, can someone elaborate?

Punting is illegal in VN but most of the time the penalty for johns are just admin fee like 500 k to couple M VND. You can be released as quick as immediately after money paid, usually no receipt, of course. However, pimp and underage girls are strictly enforced, with severe penalty. Make sure you don't get involved with under age girls. The pimps are treat different because the LE knows they are the ones with most money and they can extract a bigger prize out of those pimps.

Punting are considered safe in D1, D8, and D10. If you don't speak the language, I would recommend stay and punt just around D1.

I am nowhere near a full expert but having been to BKK a few times and living in hcmc for over 2 years now, I have to say the level of service is a lot better in BKK. The only positive side in HCMC would be that it's considerably cheaper than BKK but you have to find the right spots for that.

In general, it's quite a lot of bargaining almost always so it sucks big time to start like that. GIrls usually start to quote handjobs from 700 k or 1 mil and you have to move them down to 5-300 but sometimes not even possible. If you visit outer hot tocs you could get a blowjob with BBBJCIM for 200-250 k vnd but the tourist areas will be filled with massages for 1 hour, meaning a lousy 25 minute tap on the back and a handjob / whatever they upsell to you (mostly including FS as well around Bui Vien (for 1 m+ and 300-500 ish for handjobs. You have to be quite lucky because to be honest, the best performer for me was the cheapest and she works at Bui vien, with massive nice fake racks, she is 21 or 19 I forgot and does a standard 200+300 price for a handjob and tits groping. Most would say it's too much as well but compared to other girls in the area, she is actually very decently priced and looks the best.

If you don't mind "the hunt" and disappointment, you will like HCMC. But it's nowhere near the well oiled machine and service level as BKK (albeit cheaper).
