I have been to Vietnam many times. But I always go in the high seasons. I was thinking about going in the low seasons. I am thinking September. The high class massage parlors like Hai yen for example. Are there still many girls there and at the hot toc's or is there few girls there. In Thailand for example if you go in the low seasons it is night and day compared to how many girls there are in the high season.

It kind of depends on the girl and what club you are in as far as Bangkok is concerned. Thermae is infamous in Bangkok, but the prices have gone up do to Japanese and Koreans hunting FL's there. A lot of the more attractive girls are asking for 3000 baht for short time. 1500 used to be sufficient for ST. The clubs can be pretty expensive also. Levels, and Ce La Vie for example have girls asking for 3000+. FL's out on the street will run about 1500 or less for ST, and maybe up to 2500 for LT. Beer bars have girls that will take 1500 or less for LT + barfine going to the bar. But the quality for the beer bars can be so so.

Ermita in Manila is probably the most cost effective option in Manila. Take your choice in LA Cafe for 1500 Pesos or less all night. There are also tons of freelancers in the Greenbelt mall. The freelance scene I think is better in Manila (VS Bangkok).

But if your looking for model types, I think the soapies in Bangkok are the way to go. But you are looking at 5000 baht or more maybe. And I would say gogo bars in Manila. That might end up being up to 5000 pesos in between the barfine and tip to the girl at EDSA.

Another fun option in Bangkok and the Philippines are the dating sites. I used Badoo and did very well in the Philippines. Hooked up with some very pretty girls with no mention of money, but I paid them anyway. I got the ball rolling with a couple girls within a couple days of being there. They girls I've met from the websites aren't usually as jaded and mercenary as a freelancer picked up off the street or from a cafe. Thai friendly works the best in Bangkok. PH is good, but the quality of the girls is horrible compared to finding a club with freelancers in BKK. The girls I went with had retail jobs that didn't pay much. It's a more "natural" experience w / them. Not just a transaction. They want a good time, so you can't be a loser, and they also want to make extra money.

Agreed, good basics, but I'm still curious about prices in other SEA cities. I would also add that Vietnamese are VERY foreigner friendly. I almost feel like I'm more appreciated here than in the PH if you take into account that it's not just that they are after money. Sure, money matters, but they really do want to be with foreigners. My best women friend here said it's VERY big status for a college-educated woman to have a western BF, and not just because of the money. I've also seen that after Obama visited their was a massive surge in appreciation for USA.

I haven't looked that much, but it seems to me you can pull one of the hotties that are working as bar-girls for $100- $120. IMO I think this would be a better looking chick than one could find, for example, EDSA in Manila, an 8 for example, but would have to look around a little AND know where to go. There are some truth to this, but the scene have changed. In the olden time, the callers do take care of the girls, they typically work for a bigger boss who may be related to the local officals, that's why the police protection. The boss may be also in charge of gambling (cards, majong, etc.) and bettings (sports, races.). The scene have changed now that the more sophisticated callers put up websites and control quality by customer reviews (web-admin can be outsourced to prefessionals, even photos are professionally done now). The old method callers today are mostly the lower quality and easy target of raid-for-show in preparation for major holidays. Tourists only get in trouble if the act involve physical violence or und*are age prostitues. If just the sex act, tourist who get caught typically get "fined" some money and let go within minutes. The penalty is lightest on the monger, then the girl, the caller, and finally the boss. If the boss keeps up with all required payments, then the whole system will run smoothly and everyone will be happy. Raids happen when there is someone not getting paid. The police usually look the other way because that is an order from above. No self-respected police will go on a raid to arrest sex tourist by himself, since he knows that will touch people more powerful than him. If he happen to catch you by chance, just pay him the penalty by cash (my own experience, anywhere from 100 k to 500 k VND depends on the situation), he will let you go with a smile.

This is a very well-researched and well-written article about teen prostitutes in Vietnam. The content is more closely related to local mongers than foreigners. Prostitution is actually bustling in Vietnam under the surface, not visible to short time tourists. There is significant added values in marketing by the street callers, matching mongers' demands to the supply at hand.

Due to unemployment and poverty, these prostitutes do work with the tacit support by their community and protection by local police. Matching by pimps, or street callers, make them feel more like dates than massage girls, who work like robots, having no choice whom they must fuck, therefore are more like WG in local twisted logic.

It's true that most riff raff families in the South with low morals would accept prostitution by their young daughters; some even sell their young daughters into prostitution for money to pay off gambling debts, drinking ect. It's estimated that over 10,000 young girls in the Mekong Delta are sold into prostitution in Cambodia every year, some as young as 5.

Also in the South there are rings of young movie stars, models, singers, entertainers who would date wealthy local entrepreneurs for US $1000 to $2000 a day. Some of those so-called models are so skanky and ugly I would not fuck them for free, but they still do business somehow.

In the capital Hanoi and various parts of the North, people are more restrained, more conservative, and tend to live their lives with higher morals. But there is a very lively market for sex services simmering under the surface. Northern girls are some of the prettiest and sweetest in Vietnam.

I visited all 3 places this year. From what I remember Bangkok and Manila (Burgos) are similar. For all night, you are looking at 3 K baht and up, plus drinks and barfines. I believe Burgos was 3 K pesos and up. PP was less ($50 to $100) if you pull the girl from a bar. A club like Darling Darling is more expensive, $200 and up.
