What's with all the numbers? Code? Or you just can't type?

The forum must not support Vietnamese diacritics. I had typed everything with the proper diacritics to avoid confusion, and to make it easier for folks to copy down. Anyway, Oasis 2 is at 77 Cau that (also called Doc Bac Co as indicated in a previous post). Most cab drivers know "Cau that" instead of the other name.

Pretty much every pharmacy has this stuff. The original is expensive but the generics are just as effective with the same active ingredients.

Best to ask for them by the generic names (Sildenafil or Taladafil) and usually the pharmacist will respond in english so that the conversation remains a little private.

You can also go to any of the pharmacies "nhà thu&7889; see tâwhy" (western medicine pharmacy) on Quan S&7913; near the corner Hai Bà Tr&432; ng across from the Hospital. Viagra is expensive $5usd per pill 50mg. If you can go with an alternative generic brand, I. E. Adagrin, it will cost you about $2usd per 50mg pill.

Does anybody have info about the action in Bay Chai (the so called Halong Bay City) , Cat Ba and Haiphong?

I will be travelling from China to this area next month. Any hotel to recommand?

Bai Chay doesn't have much girls there but it is very easy to find the girls at Cat Ba or Do Son (near Hai Phong city). You can ask taxi," xe om" or even the hotel receptionist introduce some girls for you, I went to Doson on yesterday and the price is around 15$ for one short.

You should take a taxi or "xe om" go to Ngoc Khanh street near Giang Vo exhibition center, this street has a lot of pharmacy shops and you might get Viagra there. If you staying in "Old street" area you could buy Viagra or something like that at Hang Chieu street. Hang Chieu str is well know place for selling sex drug and sex toy but it is black market and they only sell it at late evening.

Not far from the Opera House / Hilton area but across a busy thoroughfare and away from the tourist streets. I recommend you show a page with the name of Oasis 2 Hotel and the address to a taxi driver the first time you go. The o in Co has a tail.

I just finished up an extended stay in Hanoi and thought I'd pass this one.

For the short-term monger, Hanoi is tough. I suggest you do it the expensive way and go to the Fortuna, but it'll cost you $200 all night with peripheral expenses. Or do it the medium way and go to Nutz at the Sheraton where you'll pay $50 short-term or all night. Or do it the cheap way and visit a proven high-end men's massage parlor, but then you'll just get HJ for $20-30. If you're in town for a few nights and do not know locals who can guide you, your options are limited. I don't do the low-end places, so I can't comment on those.

If you go to the Fortuna, make sure you ask the Mamasan only to bring around the women who will do sex. Some only entertain guests in the Karaoke rooms. There are cheaper karaoke bars with pretty women but it's very hard to navigate them without local Vietnamese friends. As a foreigner on your own, I don't recommend you try on your own. If you just want a girl sent to you, you can call / text this Fortuna mamasan: Hoang 01686770888. Plan on $100 ST and $150 LT.

The easiest option are the men's massage parlors, but you have to know where the best talent is. It tends to change from time to time. For a while, I was going to the massage parlor of the Bao Som Hotel. 50 Nguyen Chi Thanh. Massage 200, 000 and most girls will generally be up for a meeting at a later time, just exchange cell numbers. I usually tipped 200, 000 for good service and 50, 000-100, 000 for mediocre service. However, over the past year, talent has deteriorated at that place. I also don't like wearing the shorts.

Some readers have recommended Kingston Club. 53b Hang Chuoi, and it's pretty decent. Around $20 for the massage and they'll bath you. Girls will probably meet up later. Tip 200, 000 for good service.

Best place at the moment is the "other" Oasis Hotel. 77 Doc Bac Co. You go into the restaurant and ride the elevator to the 5th floor (not the 6th, like the signs say). Never seen a foreigner in the place. Known by Vietnamese locals to have the best looking girls in town right now. VIP massage 450, 000 for 90 minutes. Big rooms. You can start by sitting in the easy chair and having the girl sit on your lap while you feel them up. Then she'll bathe you in the whirlpool, then massage. Unhurried HJ and the girls so far have been willing to meet up after their shifts (which, unfortunately, end at midnight). No shorts. The Oasis on Lang Ha is OK, but this one is much better. For long-timers in Hanoi, you have many options. There are so many girls / women who want to meet a Westerner to practice English or try something different. Just put an ad in any of the dating websites or even in the New Hanoian. It's like fishing. You'll pull in some attractive ones and some unattractive ones. As someone else on this site said, most wlomen will be longing for sex with you by the 3rd date. In fact, some Vietnamese women seem to be starving for sex. Best to invite them to your own apartment. They're more conflicted than Western women about sex, sometimes feel guilty but at the same time beg you not to stop.

Pluses of Viet girls: Much easier to get one with flat tummy, no kid than in Thailand, but they are less skilled in sex. Viet men make any foreigner look good to them. Lots of pent-up sexuality and fantasies with Western men. That can be fun.

Minuses of Viet girls: Bad teeth. The man really has to take the initiative, depending what you want to do.

Dear everyone here is one review and along with a few questions about services in Hanoi. I live out of town but here often for work. Last month visited Oasis at Lang Ha street near the Fortuna Hotel where I sometimes stay at. Had very good service with cute SYT number 36 I think. Some flirting and then after massage the usual questions, haha! I like this place because the girls don't' wear shorts under the skirt. This girl I even manage to remove the underwear for easier access while she HJ. A new one for me!

However, when I am happy after a nice session with a regular I tip a lot more. 500 and up. It's worth it. The girl is happy, and then next time she makes even more of an effort.

All those tam quat places near each other are BJ joints, and it's obvious from the row of scantily clad girls sitting inside. There are some very simple poor places which just offer massage, but you can tell that when the bed is not curtained off. You can always change your mind and leave.
